Re: OOC (2)

It sure is taking its time; almost as if it's being controlled by some form of intelligence . . .

Be safe.

Looks like it’s gonna stay off the coast for a little while at least.

As far as the game, is everyone just waiting for Gnicely to weigh in?

As for me yes, because we have established that protocol in-game.  But, if you would prefer that we not due to out of game concerns/realities, say the word and I/we will take the initiative (temporarily).

That does not sound good at all.  I hope she is ok.

In the meantime, would you prefer that we pressed on?

Re: OOC (2)

Tough to recruit new blood this far into the temple since they will have missed quite a bit of the background. A good hack and slash type should work though...lol

If Gnicely is gone someone will need to take over as leader.

Re: OOC (2)

I can readily find a new player, but he won't want to assume leadership.  Still, if we think we need a magic-using archetype to round out the group (and I do think that), he would do that.

And yes, as the story has unfolded, I agree that Gillian the character would likely be the de facto leader, and I am fine with that -- unless Gillian the player does not want to do that.

So -- should I contact my friend?  Upside is, as stated, we keep a magic using type as a PC.  Downside is a further delay.

I can also ask some of the players in No Honor Among Thieves (Akenar, Kennyr, Maltro) and see if they'd be interested. Unless there are objections of course...lol

Re: OOC (2)

I think a replacement is needed. Think Gnicely is a cleric; anybody else a healer?

There are games where I'd be happy to act as leader, but it feels "bad idea" for me to take that role in this game. I just lack a good sense of the what the party should be doing at each step along the way.

That should work. Give them a rough idea as to how far we are in the adventure and if they would have no problem being a leader.

Re: OOC (2)

Looks like we will be adding another spell caster.

Based on the party's current position (inside the air temple), the most logical course of action would be to touch the alter ad go through the magical portal. If the group is ok with this plan, I will place the new player on the far side. Otherwise, the party would need to exit the temple and return to town.

Re: OOC (2)

Nobody has physically touched it or examined it in any way. Gnicely wrapped it up and stored it.
