Re: Out of Character and Absences
Good to know, Brun! And I also like Gwydion's idea that he took the name after the accident. Just you wait until she finds out who he really is. Hugs and kisses and tears - probably in the middle of a very important meeting of nobles, too. Gotta live up to her reputation!
I also just looked up titles to see what Meara would be called using the good ol' UK heirarchy for royalty and nobility.
She's the daughter of Her Royal Highness, Grand Duchess of Tir Chonaill, younger sister of Her Royal Highness Queen Valerie La Guin, which puts her in the Royal category instead of the less title-heavy Noble category.
Her title is friggin' Princess. She'd be addressed as Her Royal Highness, Princess Meara of Tir Chonaill, and thereafter as Ma'am. Although in this situation, I think Dame Meara Chonaill is fitting. Still!
This was entirely unintentional and I did not mean to make her a princess.
Mind you, the "of Tir Chonaill" is important because the Queen's daughter would be The Princess Royal or just Princess, so dropping the Grand Duchy from her title would, ah, say she's more important than she is.
why is nobility so convoluted and confusing oh my god
