Nah son, well its more fair to say I am more anti house Targaryen. I am rooting for the characters I like, and so far Lannister side is winning out 2.5-1.5.

Spoiler text: (Highlight or hover over the text to view)
And nah son, from what I have seen Daenery's aint much better, she ows all shes got to being fireproof, which is only exclusive to the show, and dragons. Favorite part of the lastest episode was when my boy Bronn did the unthinkable, and showed drogon aint no invincible fan favorite gonna live for ever bitch, he showed that mug can straight get shot, can straight bleed, and can straight be killed. Although it is looking grim for Jaimie as he sinks to the bottom of the lake do to the sheer size of his testicles.

I honestly think Jaimie might be my favorite character. Certainly up their with my favorite fighters.

I really wonder where all the greats rank in the world of Westeros and Essos.

I'm not that big a Jaime fan, to be honest. I understand that he's gone through this whole redemption arc, but seriously...

Spoiler text: (Highlight or hover over the text to view)
No amount of bro-ing out with Tyrion, Bronn, or Brienne will make me forget that he threw a kid out a window while fucking his own sister. He's not as bad a guy as he was, but he even admitted that he has no power when it comes to Cersei. She's evil, and stupid, and she controls him. That's really all there is to it at this point.

I'm 100% Team Stark. I'm not a Jon fan, to be clear: he's a bit of a dumbass (see: Battle of the Bastards), I find his accent annoying, and I don't like how he's been set up as the "chosen one". Sansa was absolutely right when she called him out for making the same mistakes as Ned and Robb. At this point I really like Sansa - I hated her at first, but I think she's grown more than any other character, and anyone who can shit on Littlefinger like she's done the past few episodes is alright in my book. They also have Davos, and he's always been one of my faves.

And yes, Daenerys does owe most of her success to her dragons, but she's also shown quite a lot of personal strength and integrity. Missandei hit it on the head when she talked about why the Unsullied and other former slaves chose to follow her. She could have taken the Good Masters' ships way back when and sailed to Westeros right away, but instead she chose to stay in Essos and try to help the slaves because that's what she thought was right. She's gotten some spectacularly shitty advice from Tyrion as of late (bummer, because I like Tyrion just like everyone else), but at least part of her power comes from the personal loyalty she inspires in her followers. Ask Jon about Olly, and see how important that is.

Will watch later

Well heres the thing, I am not gonna lie and say he doesn't have some misdeeds to his name, but fuck Brann, I never cared for many of the starks other than Ned and Arya later on. That being said Sansa aint bad and I could see her ruling. She would probably be my pick for best suited for the throne. Dany and Cersei feel like two sides of the same coin, so I could take either or as the ruling queen. I might like Cersei a bit more than Dany, but not enough to really sway it either way. The only characters I really care about and hope make it through are Jaimie, Tyrion, Sandor, Brienne, Bronn, Jorah, and Davos, maybe Arya and Little Finger. And the only ones I really want to see dead, are Drogon, Melisandre, and I think thats about it.

Total agreement here, Three-Eyed Bran is fucking creepy and a douche.

quote:

Arya's pretty cool too, though she's damn coldhearted now. I'm interested to see what happens between her and Brienne now that they've set that up.

quote:
That being said Sansa aint bad and I could see her ruling. She would probably be my pick for best suited for the throne.

Sansa and Tyrion ruling would be my ideal endgame too - they are married, after all. If they go the Dany-Jon route I'll be a little disappointed, though that ship's obviously been sailing to port for quite some time now.

quote:
Dany and Cersei feel like two sides of the same coin, so I could take either or as the ruling queen.

I don't know I would go that far, but Dany definitely shows some of her crazy Targaryen side sometimes. She's lucky that she has advisors like Varys and Tyrion willing to call her on her shit.

You like Littlefinger? He's by far my least favorite character. What a pervy little motherfucker.
I don't think Drogon, Jaime, Cersei, Ser Friendzone, or Littlefinger will survive. I could see Melisandre making it, just because she's proven herself very willing to bug out if shit goes sideways, but at the same time she might actually commit to Jon since she seems to think he's the Prince that Was Promised.
Jaime's character arc seems to point towards death by redemptive self-sacrifice.

Yeah man, their bromance is gonna be great. I still wonder how the fighters stack up, like some grand interafterlife tournament between all them fools at their prime, who comes out on top.

Yeah I am not a fan of Jon and Dany at all.

All I'm saying is its medieval times, all rulers pretty much suck when it comes to the small folk, no ones hands are fully clean, some just hide it better than others, and others wear it out in the open.

Well more I like what the actor that portrays him brings to the table. I hated Joffrey, but his actor was damn good at making him detestable. I hope drogon dies, Jaime I don't want to die, Cersei I'd rather she not, Jorah is a good bro but he is still just as likely to die, and I just get the vibe Littlefinger will live. I think she is gonna live too. Any other show I'd say Jaimie has a good chance of living, but not here.

Tommen and Margaery were actually a decent ruling couple, and they treated the common people pretty well comparatively. Too bad Cersei had to be such a possessive, power-hungry snek.

True, even if his accent is a little inconsistent sometimes.
Also, now he's trying to drive a wedge between the Starks. God dammit.

True, but they let the gods influence them to the dark side.

Well, shit is gonna go down, Arya is a little snoop, and bran with his magic three eyed raven powers can help a lot of shit, but hes a cuck and as the hound would say a cunt.

Yeah, Jaime and Tyrion I don't know if they'll make it.
I think the Imp has better chances of living, he isn't in a redemption arc so he doesn't have the death by redemption arc.

Also it seems like Dany's killing of the Tarly's will come back to bite her in the ass.

Was it really the dark side? It was shitty how the Sparrows treated Loras, but they did at least give some power back to the commoners.

Yeah, I don't know what Bran's doing at this point. At least he tried to help by sending the letter to the maesters.

quote:

True, but he's a popular character, so I don't know that he's safe.

Yeah, they certainly set it up that way. If nothing else Sam is now the scion of House Tarly, which should be interesting.

A fucking summer passed before my eyes in a jiffy, so much so that I can't really recall any clear memories of it. If I had to put a title, it would be "Feeding chicken and hitting the gym all day".

Despite the drawbacks, I think it was a necessary phase I had to go through. Having lost my father last November, finishing university, finishing up with my family's new house so we can get out of rent and generally trying to decide what my next move in life is going to be (getting an internship, serve in the military, etc.).

Social life is a drag lately, some close friends are the only people I get to actually converse with, every other communication is typical and it bears no meaning for me. I actually have a girlfriend, too, I had some time to spend for this last month. But I feel bad sometime cause it is completely physical for me, I don't want to hurt her, she is very kind and takes care of me.

Re: OCC #2: We don't break traditions..
In reply to The God of Hellfire (msg # 385):

I kind of feel like I'm drowning, and every time my head breaks the surface I have just enough time to not die and then I go under again. Which is stupid, because I know other people have it a lot worse than me.

I have to keep my grades up or I'll lose my scholarship and get kicked out. I can't even get too many B's. I still have my job, and our professors have been told to assign us at least 15 hours of homework a week (that's around 75 hours for me). I don't sleep very much, so I've been taking caffeine pills to stay awake during the day. I try not to take them at the same time as I take painkillers, I don't know how healthy that is.

Family weekend was a few days ago, and it kind of sucked seeing everyone else's family visit them while I was alone. The same thing happened last year.

I had four job interviews last week, and I should hopefully start hearing back from them this week. So that's fun.

Fall break is this weekend, but I don't know. I just want to sleep and not worry for a second, but I know I have to study.

Yo nigga don't do that to yourself, complain all you want. Just because someone had it worse, don't make your situation any better. It sounds like you're having a real fucking go at it, and I hope it does get better. We all have our own stresses, so I can't begin to imagine what this kind of situation feels like, and for that all I can say is sorry that it sucks my dude.

And yeah hopefully you do get positive responses from those job interviews.

FYI, I translated this very chronicle we are playing, Danse De La Mort, in a Greek setting and I played it with some friends. It came out beautiful, especially for the first timers in Vampire The Requiem.

Also, this is a picture of me as Platonas, my new character in Thessaloniki by night, the LARP I have been playing in for the last 2 years.

I used to participate in a couple active games on Roll20 about a year ago now, but that tapered off due to dying interest and my life getting all kinds of crazy.

About that...

On another note, I've recently gotten much more into metal than ever before. I mostly prefer thrash(Judas Priest,Slayer, Alice in Chains) industrial (Rob  Zombie, several smaller acts I dont recall)and a lot of the Nu 2000's bands(Machine Head, Devil Driver, Stereo Nasty, Slipknot, Godsmack)

A couple samples:
Devil Driver: Clouds over California

It's like Dibs said, you can't judge yourself by other people, yeah? If you're going through shit you're going through shit.

I accepted a job offer for the summer from a big tech company in Silicon Valley, so that's really exciting. I still have a lot of work to do, and I'll probably have to work over most of Thanksgiving, but I'm glad I don't have to worry about finding an internship anymore.

That's awesome! It's funny, when I was a teenager I liked that kind of really heavy music and now that I'm older I'm starting to really like the poppy, stereotypical teenager stuff (Panic at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, etc.). Do you like Rammstein or NIN?

Rammstein was something I used to like back in middle thru high school, but now I try it again and it's just not the same as I remember.
As for NIN, I don't like the overall sound of it; all I can say is that it's too smooth and soft for my taste.
