Nydelisien Army Courtyard
Nydelisien flags hang in the grand courtyard set aside for the army. Recruits train with their dummies and their sergeants, commanders rest in their tents planning out new strategies, and a large window allows the Hullens to watch over everything.

Re: Nydelisien Army Courtyard
“Those who oppose us, oppose a just rule.” A rough, aged voice which clawed at your throat came from the man before her. He was dressed in the iconic garb for the Nydelisien officers; varied selections of greens were woven into the military wear, milk white trim embroidery about its edges to break the harder lines. It was no wonder why many folk had claimed them to be lavish, but nonetheless they were efficient.

A stray breeze swept through the tent bringing the sound of clashing steel to the tent and sending the entrances hanging white drapes a flutter as well as several stray pieces of paper. Thankfully most had something weighing them down, ranging from books to statues or even a name plinth which consequently put it out of the main line of sight. The tent was littered with oak furniture, most had wounds upon their otherwise slick surface showing their age and wear.

The auburn haired girl stood before the aged grey-haired veteran wide eyed and listening intently to each throated word. “We are the line of defence for our kingdom. To those which seek to be a threat to our citizens, we are peace keepers of the great kingdom, the green kingdom. You wouldn’t threaten a place such as this, would you Evarri?” The figure which stood before him immediately bobbed their head with an accommodating. “No, Sir.”

The veteran’s head dipped if only out of courtesy, his features were still prominent but age had taken to him as it had the furniture. The flesh about his ‘Adam’s apple’ had begun to crease, lines simply littering his face and even his calloused hands had been peppered by liver spots. He did however stand with a presence, a wisdom which befits a few but Evarri thought he looked tired, wishing for rest and the long pause between the continuations of his words almost confirmed it. “Good. You know why I’ve sent for you?” The girl’s brow furrowed in thought, her eyes narrowing before she spoke up her voice light and verging on a monotonous melody. “I believe it is either to do with my previous task, or the one which shall soon be before me?” The officer shook his head, keeping his face an iron mask to cage his mind and heart. “Neither, your abilities have served us well in the time you’ve spent with us. At the time being we have no urgent pressing matters or events you need to attend. Your kingdom simply asks that you stay in an arm’s reach so that we may call upon you in urgency, do I have your word?” In a repetition of her previous act her head lowered stating. “Yes, Sir.” Another< exchange of nods was offered before the veteran turned his attention to more pressing work, turning around and moving about the tent and its multiple desks. “You have my leave.”

Another word needn’t be said, Evarri turned tail and moved toward the exit outstretching her left hand to merely part the white sheets which barred her way. Passing underneath them the ring of steel against steel became louder as the brighter more natural light momentarily took her vision from her. Once her eyes had readjusted she witnessed the wide birth of the camp, recruits pitting their power against one another sending sand aloft into the pungent air of hard-work and exertion.  Many a face was beat red, panting or working or talking. They all seemed to be doing something which left Evarri as the only idle stander.

Go lose yourself on the frontlines like your devil of a father, witch! Shaking her head at the thought she set to reprimand her dawdling, leaving the encampment seeking something else. She wasn’t entirely sure where she was heading but neither did she need too.

Re: Nydelisien Army Courtyard
[From: Glowing Plaza]

The upbeat song and laughter from the carnival were all but whispers here, only passing the ear if on the unlucky end of a stray breeze which majestically made its way through the cityscape. The small walk wasn’t far, no more than fifteen minutes were consumed before they could hear the song of steel against steel and the general murmurs of conversation. Several banners rose skyward, the defined colour of green painted upon their surface, more so were in view as they came to the entrance a large opulent archway allowing passage into this particular courtyard.

Evarri reflected that the noise had died down from earlier today, presumably by the presence of the carnival. A honey-pot for attraction even to those who worked in the forces, their well-earned coin probably lost on some gamble this evening.  “How’re you holding up?” She asked, offering a glance to the wounded Minotaur.  It was only a few more moments until they passed under the archway, surely then they would be able to treat his wound with relative ease. Evarri however would have to be a negotiator.. the doctor here was to treat those wounded in training and help to keep them healthy for the incoming wars, that and mend those who had the occasional scuffle in the streets.

Will it come to bite me later? She wondered but there was no time for such callous thoughts, she was to run amuck in the courtyard today. After all, she could make a logical guess that this definitely was a norm to bring in a wounded stranger and a goblin polyglot.

"And so I says 'pull the other one, guv', its got bells on' and I swear on me gran's grave that if looks could kill my heart would've turned into a stone in my chest," Manny regaled with a full-throated cackle.

"Anywayyyy.... turns out the old bugger was a druid after all, an' Merv n' me we're lucky enough to get away before he decided to turn the pair of us into matching lawn ornaments. It was round about then we realized it was time we were movin' on... oi, Mister, are you still listen' to me? Only it looked like you'd glazed over there for a moment-"

Manny drew up short behind Evarri and peered around her legs at the impressive archway and the half glimpsed courtyard beyond.

"Are we here then, Miss?"

As the group neared the medical tent, the head healer turned and  faced Evarri. Before he said anything he made sort of a confused face when he saw her...companions. Its not often once sees a soldier like her walk into the courtyard with a scarred Goblin and a hulking Minotaur warrior. Odd. Shaking himself out of his daze he finally spoke as they got closer.

"Uh, hello soldier, can I....help you with something?

Gorim had ignored Manny's ramblings the way here, finding it rather irritating how talkative he was. Though he was still limping somewhat, he was able to keep pace. "I'm fine." He curtly replied, simply observing the courtyard and those around them, some giving nervous stares behind him no doubt. He turned toward the healer who had just addressed them, trying to size them up from a glance, but was little use, as he wasn't even sure what kind of work they do; medicinal or magical. He kept his mouth shut and just let Evarri do the talking.

“We’re here.” She confirmed, glossing over the archway without much of a thought as she proceeded to the medical tent slowing to a halt as she was addressed. Well, as close as an address seemingly came. “Hello Doctor, I have a favour to ask. It wouldn’t be much trouble to help mend the Minotaur’s leg, would it?” A small gesture was made with a right hand toward the towering beast. I still don’t know his name, I should have asked. She berated herself before focusing her attention once more.

“Most of us are out, right? At the carnival so I don’t think it would be too much trouble.” Then again, Evarri was oblivious to the difficulties of mending wounds. It was presumably going to be a lot of hassle. “To add it to your schedule.” She added at the last second hoping it would rectify her ignorance.

The healer looked back and saw that other than a few sore trainees, the tent was pretty much empty.

"Well, normally this tent is reserved for members of the military..."

He took a good look at Gorim, eying his wound from afar,

"But given, your current state, and the request given b one of our own, and the fact that virtually no one is here or injured....Yes, step right this way and let be have a look mister....?

"Gorim." He replied abruptly. He turned towards Evarri, and gave a slight bow. "Thank you, human." He didn't know her name, nor did he truly need to, but it was against his honor to not at least pay respects to those who assist, even if unwanted. He turned back to the healer, and nodded to follow. "I also have a wound on my arm." No need to hide it now, he figured.

“Much obliged.” Offering a content smile toward the healer she briefly glossed over Gorim, nodding to him. “It was nice meeting you Gorim.” She added at the last moment before drawing her attention to Manny’s small impatient plight. “Don’t think he’d appreciate strangers following him-.." The words came dubiously as if she were unsure about the situation and hesitation followed. "The commander should be in his usual tent.” Sealing away stray thoughts Evarri quickly proceeded toward the tent she had spent the midday in.

Its ivory sheets being gently caressed by winds as they approached, Evarri paused at the sheet holding it’s substance aloft for Manny to pass underneath prior to her doing the same. Once inside she parted a casual glance among the tent hoping to find her superior.

The healer nodded to Evarri as she left and returned to looking at Gorim.

"These are some nasty wounds, definitely infected, and from the blood color, I'd say....Bloodbeaks?"

He motioned his hand towards a cot for him to sit on and then he turned to a nearby shelf full of vials and bottles, occasionally stopping to pick one up and look at the labeled while he searched.

"What is it you do Mr. Gorim?"

(Evarri & Manny)

As the two entered the commander tent, they saw nothing but shadows in the dimly lit area. Then a voice came from one of the corners,

"Ah, Evarri. Back so soon? And what is this you've brought me?"

If he didn't speak up, one might have never known that Commander Te'ect was even there in the first place.

"I'm a mercenary." not necessarily a lie, Gorim thought as he watched the  healer. He escorted those who gave him the coin to survive and it mostly happened to be in the mountains. "Bloodbeaks were a change of pace for a simple recipe run." Gorim shrugged as he spoke, not really thinking much on it. when he had the time, he was actually amazed with himself they survived, but luckily it was a small group of them, with mostly children.

The Goblin’s forwardness was something not to be desired, though after Manny’s own words Evarri sought to affirm them. “Commander. This is Manny; he claims to be a polyglot, useful in some practises.” Namely the one she currently worked in though that needn’t be retold.

Not seeing any other need to control the situation she would happily allow Te’ect and Manny to take the reins of the direction of this conversation. Frankly, she needn’t be here she was merely what Evarri saw as a stepping stone for the small Goblin to use.

Gorim tensed up at the needle jabbing into him. Though he wasn't necessarily 'afraid' of needles, he disliked the idea of being stabbed by something to help him. How should he know what's really in those things? He sighed a bit at his own thoughts though, he knew just how ridiculous a thought that was as herbs could easily be swapped for poisonous plats just the same. He nodded at the comment about his wounds, doing a quick mental check to see if anywhere else hurt; just some bruises and sore ribs, his leg and arm are the only real injuries.

"Oh me, your honor?" the goblin replied without releasing his stiff salute. "I'm easy. I can do lots of 'fings, just as you like, guv - 'm not just a pretty face and a cunning linguist. Odd Jobs Manny, my mates always say. As long as the price is right of course. "Light as a feather, quiet as a mouse. Lift the ring right off your finger I could, guv. Leastwise not your finger, your Majesty. Wouldn't dream of trying it wiff one of your rings... pretty as it is..."

Manny paused here with a gentle frown as he considered whether the package spoke for itself. Somehow it still seemed to be lacking.

"I also does some pretty good bird calls, guv" he said decisively after a moment, a smile blooming once more on his despicable countenance. This was following by a lilting trill and sequence of pitched ululations. "Hear that? That's the brownish-bird-wot-has-blue-splotches-on-its-wings, guv. Pretty good, eh? Re: Nydelisien Army Courtyard
Seeing it as the most respectful course of action Evarri took a step back from the majority of conversation allowing Manny and the commander to pass dialect between each other. Neither did she comprehend the larger proportion of the language; she wasn’t even able to distinguish its base origin.

Nor was it a secret that she wasn’t one for the sophisticated world where everyone was able to discretely backhand one another with words alone. Therefore, when the ball had been handed to her she appeared mildly startled though was quick to recuperate her grounds callously answering. “I wouldn’t be able to do so. I’m not entirely well acquainted enough to know Manny’s goals or intentions.” The auburn haired girl paused, her eyes drifting downward toward the goblin then the Nydelisian commander.  However. If you do not recruit him on his merits alone, there is another possibility.”

Without asking permission, she continued her words a continual flow of unabating thought. “We have encountered previous problems where I lack the fundamentals to translate other languages, and so some of the knowledge I’ve passed on has been flawed.” An arm outstretched in Manny’s direction, the pools of liquid steel never leaving the commander. “The only method I can see to easily rectify this is to acquire a tutor, a polyglot being the most preferable.”

Evarri’s arms dropped to her sides, an unrelenting gaze still on the commander. Frankly, Evarri saw it as an easy solution. Neither would she have suggested it if she didn’t think it was worthwhile which she hoped the commander knew. It would also benefit her, and though the proposition was selfish it was a means of work to Manny something he could fall back on. A mutualistic relationship where both would benefit from the association, it just depended on Te'ect's final decision.

However it did not matter whether you could regurgitate a word when you were unsure of its true intention. “I suppose it would, but it’s only a small piece.” The auburn haired girl added afterward, thoughts straying onto other matters as she simply mislaid the presence of the commander however daunting it may be.

In the exact not-so-comely situation Evarri could be prodded and jostled until she would pass on the message willingly.

“It’s accurate, is the most beneficial use.” She finally stated, but the Goblin’s words would clearly note that he knew of Evarri’s ability. Neither was she certain on how the commander would take this information.

If there wasn’t, it would do Manny well to show him around allowing him to gather his bearing of the courtyard. Then check on the minotaur, his wounds didn’t appear fatal but all the same.

A parting courtesy nod was the only assurance she gave to the commander before she turned, again parting the veil to the courtyard. Once past the threshold she kept a normal pace forward, retracing their steps beforehand to the medical area. “I’ll be checking up on Gorim, you can explore the grounds if you would like or I’ll show you where everything is afterwards.” Evarri voiced, assuming the small pint-sized goblin had followed and not just wandered off. Otherwise she would have been talking to thin air, which probably wouldn’t do well for her reputation not that it mattered.

Approaching the medical tent she eyed the rots of cots to find both the medical officer and the Minotaur, eyes settling upon them immediately. “Nothing too serious then?” She asked, but since the Minotaur hadn’t been in the middle of having knives carve up his body it was the best assumption she could make.

“It’s fine though.” She continued seamlessly. “I’m still wary of you; just less so neither will I bother you with asking for a favour. Gorim nodded to Evarri. "You are most intriguing I must say. Most would jump at the chance to hold something over another head." He scratched his chin for a bit, before hefting his heavy weaponry onto his shoulders. "However, I must insist upon my honor, so if it is not done as a favor, at the least, allow me to accompany you on any assignment you may have. It will be a way to pay you back for helping me, as well as paying back the healer in seeing if this life might be more suitable, and at the least, keep you and any other companions alive." He looked at Evarri with steely determination. Even if in his gut he didn't truly like the thought, he would not be able to hold his head high without paying back those who helped him, even if it was unwanted even to the end. Who knows what could happen, maybe it'll be a life changing event, or a dull trip that would only cement his feelings of solidarity. Gorim bet on the latter.

“I-..Well.. My assignments are a little – sporadic.” Evarri pointed out, her heads incline correcting itself. “I wouldn’t know how long you would have to stay to fulfil your … favour?” Her last words rang dubiously, as if Evarri was unsure of what to call it. “So if you’re certain on it you may lose a week or so before it happens. If there is an assignment I get though, assuming you still want to do it. Where would I contact you?”

The auburn haired girl seemed a little baffled, even now of the concept and continually mystified look touching upon her expression.  The offer which the Minotaur had passed along was not one she was used to, if at all ever coming into contact with. Honour hadn’t been the driving force for many in these times.

"Yes, a weeks worth of solitude would be sorely missed." He quirked half sarcastically half serious. He turned to leave before turning back at her. "A man named Bishop is an associate. He knows how to contact me when he needs to. He runs a shop in the plaza." He then made his way towards the bustling city, not a notion he looked forward to, but better than staying past his welcome. "May your sword fell many. Until we meet again, human."

The girl's brow raised at the words unable to pinpoint it's meaning with the tone which stood behind it. Quickly shrugging it off she lazily raised her right hand, her wrist twisting this way and that as her hand tipped from side to side in an oddball wave. "I hope it doesn't fell many." She called out after him. "But until we meet again." Evarri pivoted on her foot, realising the doctor had gone back to his medical instruments.

A sigh escaped her lips, those who held honour in such high regard were asking to get themselves killed.

"Funny sort of bloke, ain't he?" Manny mused from beneath the awning of the tent. "Wouldn't want to get on his bad side. Course figg'erin out his bad side from his good side could be a trick all on its own. I reckon its not the one wiff' the horns."

The little goblin shook his head as though to dismiss the dour minotaur from his thoughts.

"Don't feel like you has to wait around on my part, Miss," he said kindly. "You've been more than kind to Ol' Manny already. I can poke around all on my lonesome if'n you've got places to be. I'd be welcoming of the company though."

Re: Nydelisien Army Courtyard
Evarri’s vision trailed downcast to Manny as he spoke, nodding nonchalantly to his comment.  “I guess, some people are better at that then others though.” Her thoughts pictured a river of faceless people before her, all hiding behind stark white masks. “It’s of no worry.” Evarri added in reply. “Other than the carnival I hadn’t needed to do anything else today. You’re actually helping by giving me something to be getting on with, so what catches your eyes?” She asked, turning and beginning a surefooted walk out of the tent and into the courtyard.

In truth, Evarri hadn’t paid much attention beside necessity. It still didn’t feel like a home, instead somewhere to rest her head and let her body recover the energy it needed. The sound of metal against blade could easily be drowned out and it was mildly comforting to know you were safe, well not indefinitely safe. But safer.

"The camp." She replied, perhaps a little too dryly. "Again, not so sure how many will be around since the Carnivals in town." Evarri kept at a constant pace, once every so often checking beside her to see if Manny was still accompanying her. "Admittedly, I don't think I've seen anything in your size. Ever." A smile graced her lips, twin hues of molten steel focusing upon where they dished out the food.

Manny traipsed along beside Evarri content to be led along the narrow but fastidiously kept lane-ways that stretched between the rows of tents. "That's alright, Miss, I'll 'fink of somefin'," he chirped graciously.

As they arrived at their destination the little goblin picked up his pace and bustled ahead of his guide, pulling the canvas drape aside with a wink and a welcoming sweep of his arm. "After you, Miss. Cor, but don't that just smell loverly!"

The little goblin cocked an eyebrow at the unexpected reception. He wasn't accustomed to the generally convivial manner in which he'd been treated since arriving at the camp and though he remained at a loss to explain it he wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. "Couldn't say, guv, didn't really give it much of a chance. Kind of you to ask though," he added cheerfully.

"They kept you here even though all the boys in armor are off galavanting about?"

Evarri appeared bemused as the Goblin quickened his pace to lift the canvas’ sweeping entrance aside. “Thank-you.” Spite Manny’s pull of the canvas she had to lightly push some of the higher fabric away from her head, peering inside to be smothered by the smell of watered broth. “Found out Carnivals aren’t so much my thing.” She replied, her words coming hand-in-hand with a nonchalant shrug of her shoulders. “Excitement? Hmm, I just don’t like the crowds.” She shook her head, asserting her point before inclining her head toward the stew. “It alright if we get a bowl each?” The inquiry was more-so for the Manny, Evarri having the inclination he had wanted some food. Especially considering how he devoured the small sweet she had given him a while back.

Evarri had remained silent for the whole affair, simply slowly dipping her spoon into the stew lifting aloft a chunk of meat or vegetable so often. In mute awareness, she listened to the cook and Manny converse unwilling to prove into their conversation – Evarri had no need to begin poking for information and the like.

Nothing was particularly inspiring; the only information vaguely interesting was that the children of royalty had decided to wander into the fray. Then again; the likelihood of them meeting one another was very likely none. That was, unless they got an assignment that too however seemed unlikely. Unencumbered by needing to speak between mouthfuls Evarri had finished a little before Manny, her brow arching at the reminder of her proposition. “Ah, yes do have a fine evening Mike. Wishing that the rest of your quiet day serves you well.” Turning her head to Manny she wondered what the small goblin had to gain from such information. Then again, many would say information was power and Evarri knew she wouldn’t disagree. “I can show you whenever, so when you’re ready?”

Most in the courtyard woke not to the rising of the sun, but to the rhythmic clanking of armor, swords, and the blacksmiths. The soldiers had finally come back from their night of enjoying the carnival, and they were still a bit groggy from the fun, drink, and lack of sleep, but that was nothing the drill sergeants couldn't fix. Those that were in a separate group from the basic foot soldiers had the luxury of sleeping in, if only for a bit, if they could block out the now alive courtyard that is.

Re: Nydelisien Army Courtyard
Morning came early to the billets and made scant exception for the little goblin. Chased out of the first cot he'd claimed by the return of the revelers, Manny had ridden out the greater part of the night in a makeshift bed amidst the rafters vowing to secure something better for himself come the new day. It was in such a mindset that he found himself now, traipsing through the military camp largely unquestioned and entirely unperturbed. Indeed, apart from a few sideways glances at breakfast the soldiers hadn't appeared to give much mind to him at all. Perhaps Nydelisein's truly was every man's army as the saying went.

In addition to drawing no great notice, it appeared the goblin had also been left with no great oversight. Manny wasn't sure who he reported to apart from Te'ect, and no one he'd encountered thus far had seen fit to take him to task for his idleness. And thus he'd taken it upon himself to ensure he was occupied. There were scarce few permanent structures in amongst the rows of tents that comprised the army camp, but the armory was one of them. The little goblin stood in the lea of the squat stone building peering into the keyhole of a sturdy iron lock that was conveniently hung at eye level.

"Quartermaster ain't got no time for the likes of Ol' Manny, do he?" he grumbled. "Well just a few moments and we'll make a go of it ourselves."

A padded roll of assorted picks materialized in Manny's hand and in short order the door swung open into the darkness. "Lets go have a butchers then, shall we?"

Re: Nydelisien Army Courtyard
The quartermasters hut seemed to be empty, save for its two new occupants, looked as though it was like that for a few days now, the quartermaster was most likely out on a supply run, setting up orders and all that. Rumor had gone round that one of his usual suppliers wanted to cancel their contract, and, well, he didn't seem to pleased about that. Most of the weapons left on the shelves were large swords, a few small maces, and the occasional bow. Nothing of remarkable merit really. However, near the back next to a few bundles of arrows was a decent set of daggers, fine make, sharp, they even had a very 'military' like design on the handle. While it was probably against regulation to simply take military supplies, no one but the quartermaster would probably notice, and he wasn't going to be here for a while.

"N' look at, some extra uniforms,"
he continued, clambering up a shelf of sundry colored garments and gamely slipping an oversized tabard over his head.

"A couple of these and a sewing needle and I'll be ready for the parade grounds, you mark my words. What does you 'fink, Miss?" He pinned the shirt close to his chest between two clawed fingers and did a little twirl on his perch.

Awoken by the usual clamour of steel being pitted against steel, two still pools of molten silver observing the structures above. If, you could call it that; it wasn’t exactly beautiful instead a nest of log and joints thrown together. Well, what were you to expect if you were a simple common soldier? The red-head brought herself up, not content with laying in for a few more minutes with the sound of blade ringing in her ears she swung both legs off the cot and took to her feet. Her usual viridian coloured Nydelisien themed garments swiftly slipped on – moments later she was wandering the courtyard before she spotted Manny. The little goblin was poking into the quartermasters, and Evarri sought to accompany him in his endeavour.

Silently, she listened to his words curiosity being the only expression which bloomed. Once the door was open, she stepped inside with Manny her peripheral vision taking in the wink of steel and iron. Gingerly she moved through the aisles, taking in the colours and weaponry which were on display. That was until Manny brought attention to himself, turning her head inclined right as she observed him twirl – a smile gracing her lips. “Fitting; well not so much – but sewing needles and such.” Allowing another moment to pass, she nodded affirming her words. “It’s good; we can prod the quartermaster once he gets back.” That, or they could take it without their wishes. It was however for the better of the army, well the little Goblin surviving who probably knew more words then the whole courtyards occupants combined; that was beneficial. That, or she was twisting her own words… probably the latter. “Is there anything else, or is that it?”

"How about a job?"

Neither Manny nor Evarri noticed the presence of the Elven man who's voice was heard behind them. He stood in the doorway with in his military robes with a a cocky look on his face that Evarri recognized immediately.

Nat'ute Te'ect, a fellow agent of the Nydelisian army. He, like Evarri, reports directly to Nat'vasha, to whom he is related to through their clan name, and is easily known by his peers. He is good at his job, one of the best assassins and spies in the force. However, he is known for being ruthless and cutthroat, undoubtedly planning every move to get closer to Nat'vasha and move through the ranks. Most respect his skill, but wouldn't trust him to save their life if he wasn't getting anything out of it.

"I was sent to find you two by my Nat'vasha. I am to deliver a job description to test our new recruit."

He eyed Evarri and Manny, observing their reactions as he waited for one of them to speak.

Re: Nydelisien Army Courtyard
Those pools of starlight widened, though to even the keenest eye it could go unseen. It wasn’t as if she believed the trial of stealing and pickpocketing to be so low; in truth if she had to sink to such ‘standards’ she wouldn’t think twice about it.  If it kept food upon a plate however rusted it was worth it. Yet, in a situation like this? Where you didn’t need to steal – then and only then did Evarri see it as something beyond her comprehension. Thankful that it was merely in jest, her eyes glossed over the equipment. “No. I suppose I could use a crossbow perhaps but I don’t believe it to be necessary.”

A voice resonated through the armoury touching upon polished metals; Evarri simply pivoting as if she knew who it was. That she did though was taken by surprise by his presence it was easy enough to cover up though. “Nat’ute, thank-you for bringing this to us.” The red-head padded forward, eyes watchful and wary as she openly studied Nat’ute’s form. “I’ve heard more about you, both good and bad but the ends justify the means.” Evarri paused in her speech, emphasising her last word yet no malice or fractiousness stood behind it. Usually, do they not?”

A smile played about her lips as she took another step forward, holding out her hand to him. “It’s a pleasure though; this is Manny if you were wondering. No doubt you were informed.” The smile split into a playful grin, both eyes brightening. “Oh, have you found out what I can do yet? Or are you still in the dark on that piece of information?” Evarri always found out how it was amusing that she was the worst to plan around; or act against the enforcement. It was as if she were a walking diary, recording all that which went on. It was best not to let everyone know that. However if Nat’ute had been told about it recently.. well her leverage would’ve been spoiled. “Besides that, the job description?”

Curious as to whether she should seek the aid of that Minotaur from earlier – if only to cease his odd ‘honour’. It didn’t feel appropriate having someone owe her.
