Well, the threads warn me when they've "reached there 1000 post limit" so I can only assume that maybe they don't archive correctly. Not entirely sure though.

In a conversational setting (longer conversations, business, and as he gets slightly more comfortable with a female) he will speak more, think of it more as Lavender will be the loud one, and Choryn will be the quiet one. in essence a borders version of Jay and Silent Bob.  That being said, his thoughts will be present. I intend them to have (in essence) a companion link where they work so well together if the situation dictates Choryn trusts Lavender to speak for him, and only speaks when necessary. It will be a challenge, but hey I like the idea of a challenge.

I haven't been tested for that, but am fairly certain based on the amount of cleaning and organizing I do, versus what is actually necessary... There might be a slight case but it's not too debilitating

My friends and I didn't get to meet the voice actors, the line was too long. From what I heard it was a two hour wait minimum.

I cosplayed Sokka from Avatar, while my GF cosplayed Suki.

While at Artists Alley I talked a bit with the artists, bought mostly League of Legends buttons and posters.

And me and some friends watched some anime that was being marathon. Log Horizon was there but they only showed a few episodes before it was changed to Kill La Kill. Then it got too flooded with people that we didn't want to stay. We watched that anime already anyhow.

I watched Wolf Children for the first time. It was pretty sad. Almost cried, but held it in.

Also went to the swimsuit contest. There was a girl that dressed up as Peach. Who were are 85% sure she was an actual stripper, especially with the way she danced on the pole.

I went to rave a few times, had to leave early thought if I wanted to catch the shuttle back to my hotel.

And other stuff that I can't remember at the top of my head.

Ya... well in Log Horizon it isn't the "Players" that suffer from die and your done... they made it slightly different. But it keeps getting more intricate as the episodes continue, you have to pay attention to catch the small innuendos that betray the super cool parts of that show.

by far it was Attack on Titan.

There was so many people wearing the jackets and cloaks. I took a few pictures of them, but stopped when I noticed how many there were.

See when I went to Emerald City Comic-con a few weeks prior there were very few AoT cosplays so I figured Sakura 3 weeks later would be similar.  Luckily I was able to pull out my old Vash the Stampede, and Zoro Cosplays

They were selling the jackets, for around 50 - 60 dollars. They only had the recon corps insignia though.

Example for the female titan I saw one where the girl cosplaying it took a swimsuit and turned it inside out and painted the details on the lining.  Another I saw was a father as Eren in Titan form and his little daughter was cosplayed as Mikasa

The best AoT cosplay was this girl. She wore a ball gown like thing, where the skirt part was made to look like a titan head, and the top half was Petra (I'm not so sure). Anyways, the skirt/titan head look like it was eat Petra.

Nice there's some foam stuff I've seen people use to make Ichigo's hollow mask from bleach that stays relatively well attached to the skin, is sturdy enough to not collapse or deform, but can be reused.  I wish I still had the notebook I had written it down in...

yeah I think it's wonderflex, and not necessarily the mask itself goes through various states of destruction and partial formation.  the full mask is cool but the partials are a bit more difficult to craft and IMHO look much more Badass

Hmm.

Not sure I could make Lucina's butterfly mask out of foam though.

Paper on top of a normal opera mask is about as much artistic talent I can muster.

I had to re-paint one of the details on it like four times.

I'll stick with what I've got, trying to re-make it would involve more tracing, cutting, and/or paint than I can manage without messing up.

I had to hand-paint it because if I didn't I wouldn't get the right color or stiffness, and I needed to print the lines out so I could cut it out properly >.<

Tell me about it. It was pretty much my first time using the sewing machine. Too many times while helping my GF sew her skirt and shirt we sewed the wrong side and had to undo everything.

That or the hem I sewed turned out really crooked.

The only thing I think that came out absolutely perfect was my necklace which I made from sculpy clay.

Game started by a GM with the alias 'Lyfe'

Basic premise of social therapy college, a school founded (in the words of the first principal) "to teach the next generation how to love"

But then I nearly exploded the game (for the second time in its history), one of the players got hit by a car, and everyone assured the GM they'd be willing to continue but it just sort of died.

I'm gonna miss the character I made for that, he was cool.

That's what I did with Alice.

She was originally adapted from my head to be in the WRA, but that died so I adjusted her and injected her here.

Don't have anywhere Feri would fit yet though.

dwarf characters are awesome in general though. Read through the D&D comics IDW ran for a short while. One of the best D&D based comics I read, the characters feel like players while at the same times using very typical meta dialogue.

I think it will be a good challenge for me. At a minimum, it will be a good mental exercise to amalgamate my style of writing with an entirely new set of character attributes... I all too often fall into my comfort zone when it comes to writing.

I know that is; when I first broke out of the setting which got me into RPing I struggled for a little while to get my writing and characters up to a level of quality that I was happy with. I've moved beyond that issue for the most part but even now I sometimes feel like I still struggle somewhat.

Just to put things in perspective for a moment in this game of 2000 posts almost 87% of those logged, or a full 1730 posts, have been devoted to OOC. If we had inverted this trend, collectively we probably could have written an epic the length of Ulysses by now.

There's a difference between making a character and playing out that character's interactions with other people as opposed to everything being in your head though >.>

Jeez.. that's BS... one summer I made an entire underground one bedroom apartment. With functioning chimney and fireplace. It was grand until the pipe clogged ....and smoked me out...... and the billowing smoke alerted the response teams. That story doesn't get better lol.

mmmmmhmmmm. Robots are cool, there is a whole room of them just a few doors down from me that have all these weird arms and automate the process of painting BIG aircraft rudder/fins. It is pretty wild to watch.

I'll just uh-.. add a little post to the childhood thing. I remember playing in wheat fields, where you had the wavy long pieces of wheat which practically towered you as a kid. Was SO fun playing in these, wondering what could be behind them and I'd always follow noises that I heard rustling.... (I guess the farmers hated little 'ole me though).

They have now-.. invented a full proof plan, by getting the newer crops which include fat stubby pieces if wheat which you can't get lost in because they go up to your knees. I feel sorry for any children in the area I live, they will be missing out on so much hide-and-seek amazing-ness!

Whelp, car stuff isn't technically solved but I have a car lined up which I will be purchasing once the current owner buys her new car and I have a van that I am borrowing from my sister so everything should be set. Work was hectic for a but but I should be back to a more normal posting schedule now; my apologies again for the holdup.

The drink is basically carbonated sugar-water, but the novelty of the drink is that

A: it's a glass bottle

and B: the drink is sealed with a marble you punch out of (well, technically into) the bottleneck before drinking.

My many apologies for my absence the last week and a half ish everyone; I've been consumed by a desperate search for a cheap functional vehicle and then with performing maintenance work on said vehicle once I found it to get it up to snuff for what I need out of it. All of that has been handled now (I hope...>.>), and thus I should hopefully be able to summon sufficient time and creative juices to maintain a more consistent posting rate. Again, my apologies everyone.

On a somewhat related note Annith and I shall be on vacation from the 16th through the 24th. While we will have very limited access to internet via smart phone during the trip our actual posting ability will likely be limited for the duration of said trip. My apologies in advance for this absence.

Thanks; this is my family's annual trip up to the UP and the shore of Lake Superior, but this will be Annith's first year coming so I'm excited to show her all of the beautiful sights up there. I'm just glad that I got my vehicle issues sorted out BEFORE school started, seeing as I live an hour away from the university that I attend.

My sister managed to break the AC of my dad's car by running into a post, it was on/off working for the past year or so despite taking it in several times. Finally got it fixed over spring this year.

Yeah; I had been driving a '93 Thunderbird which was an absolute joy to drive but then the transmission went on it so I had to tarp it and get something cheap as dirt to get me to school and serve as my daily driver during the winter and until I can afford to get the 'Bird's transmission rebuilt. The problem was with my finances I really couldn't even afford to spend $1000 on the replacement car so you can see how this made the search hard as hell...>.<

Thankfully I finally found a '94 Nissan Sentra in good mechanical condition with some body damage for $700 that I bought and am using now.

I think the question we are all wondering is did the school eat more or less of him. Also what why didn't the school finish it's meal? I mean did he make it sick? Did another predator come along and scare it off? These are important questions.

Alexander is always welcome, no need to worry about the long absence, I mean I disappear for weeks at a time because of school/life as well so its not a problem. And he's not holding anyone back plot wise either, so once school calms down for him there'll still be a spot open
