<<<<<<That One Jerk's Shop>>>>>>

Oh what a nice walk.
No less then 4 homeless people asking for change.
It's funny how there used to be 5.
Maybe one wasn't kidding about that disease.
Ha.
"Well, I haven't been to the carnival in a while..."
In truth it had only been about 6 or so years, which probably was a while for most people.
Hopefully it was just a drop in the bucket for Reno. Elf blood and all.
He noticed the outside of the main tent had dozens of booths and stands.
"Now where's that lizard on a stick...? Reno mused, grabbing a program off a nearby table, half-checking to see if Leo and Natalie had been abducted by a local street gang or propositioned by anyone.

----- Pawn Shop ----->

It had been less than 5 minutes, and Natalie was already eyeing all the shops. All the dazzling lights, all the people, all the stalls, it was amazing!! Natalie had never actually been to a festival before, and now she wished she had. To keep the amazement from her eyes would be too great a task. She couldn't help but feel like a child in a candy store.

<<<<<<Bishop's Shop>>>>>>

Leo took in the sights of the carnival and let out a huge sigh. How long has it been since he'd been out with friends? 3? 4? Who knows? It's been a couple of years since he had lost his memories, so he was ready to make some new ones. Though, since he was out of money, he didn't know where to start. Maybe a sparring match? Or a test of strength? Even an eating contest would be good if he could score a little extra money off it.

"So where to first guys? Food? Games? I'm a lil short on cash, so I'll just tag along till we can find a sparring match I can partake in."

He noticed Natalie's amazement at the varies booths and shops and couldn't help but laugh.

"First time at a carnival, Natalie?"

At Leo's question, Natalie immediately snapped back to reality. "Uh-huh..." she began nervously, "Where I'm from, we don't really have carnivals..." She retained her normal shy appearance for approximately 8 seconds before something else had caught her eye, and the dazzle of amazement had returned once more.

Re: Bambono's Carnival
Suddenly the tall announcer man from before pointed his staff in the direction of the group and called out.

"Hoohoo!~ You lot there look like you are taken aback by the wondrous sights before you!"

Be moved over to Natalie and, with a puff of smoke, a crystal ball appeared, floating in front of him. The ball caught her reflection and distorted it into an amusing round shape.

"Ah yesssss...Imaged of grandeur, big dreams and big obstacles in front of you young miss. Try not to get lost in any of the new things in front of you. And you sir!"

He turned to Leo.

"A little lost are we? Just you and a trusty tool? Ah yes, reminds me of a time when a young Bambono needed to reestablish himself as well!"

He finally turned to Renorlem,

"My my, you look like someone I know, who knows you might be related! Lets take a look~"

He ball darkened in color a bit as Bambono gazed into it.

"I see, like to experience the other side of life eh? Very interesting friend, very interesting!"

He stepped back from the three and began to spin the ball on one of his fingers.

"Yes yes, I can tell, you are amazed! Haha, trust me friends, that is only the begin- oops how clumsy of me!"

The ball fell from Bambono's hands and hit the ground, creating a bright flash of light and more smoke. When it cleared Bambono was gone and three tickets rested on the ground in his place. The voice of the man rang out, seemingly from no where.

"See you all at one of the main attractions!"

A small crowd that had gathered began to clap.

A fortune teller.
No, no, he was using far more than divination.
"Ha! What a master ruseman, that one!" Reno said, picking up one of the tickets.
Bambono knew of his relation in the carnival.
But of course, he did own the carnival.
Perhaps he WOULD stop by after all, depending on what the others wanted to do.
"Well, looks like we'll be stopping by the main tent after all, eh Leo? Let me just find that lizard on a stick..."
Time to redouble the search.
Reno took off through the small crowd, gently goading them out of the way with pushes and leaning with his long arms, looking hard for the lizard on a stick stand.

Leo chuckled at Natalie's reply.

"It's nice to be young," he said with a bright smile. "Enjoy the attractions, enjoy the food and enjoy the festivities. You only have one life, so..."

Before Leo was able to finish his thought, the tall announcer appeared in front of them. Confused with what was happening, he took careful notice at the man's mention of Leo being "lost." Did he know something about his memories? Or was he just making a joke? Leo wanted to ask, but the man was gone just as quickly as he had appeared, but this time leaving tickets.

"I guess so. I wonder what kind of show it will be. Well, till then, a lizard on a stick does sound pretty good. Come on Natalie, let's stay together."

Leo grabbed Natalie in a kind of instinctive fatherly manner and pressed forward to stay close be Bishop as to not lose him in the crowd.

Picking up the last ticket, Natalie nodded to Leo. "Okay." The glimmer in her eyes faded once more, as her mind wandered to what the tall man had said. Big dreams and big obstacles? What does he mean by that? Could that be something about me? But more importantly... Natalie's eyes moved towards Leo and Bishop. ...what were his comments on them about? Hmm... Natalie pondered for but a moment, before she noticed a Lizard on a Stick booth to their immediate left, just as they were about to pass it. She would've completely missed it, since there were no signs over the display. It looked so... ordinary. Her eyes were drawn to all the flashy lights, and this stand blended in so well to the background. "Ah, over here."

Re: Bambono's Carnival
Finally.
One of the only reasons to even attend such a droll and pedantic event.
Renorlem straightened himself, digging for the gold piece in his pocket.
He would give the entire thing, just for a few lizards on sticks.
"Hello. I'd like to order 3 lizard sticks, please."
Reno slammed the gold piece down on the counter.
He was already salivating.
The sweet sweet taste of vermin lizard.
Probably fried a bit too much.
The taste of crunchy flesh.
And stringy insides.
It was all just so primal.
Reno felt like a caveman in this moment, running on instinct.
Food... Good...
And nothing could ruin it once the sweet flesh was in his mouth.
"And you can keep the change. Ha ha ha!"

The vendor's eyes widened a bit.

"A whole gold piece for three o these lizard sticks? Right you are sir! I've got three fresh ones I do, only the best for customers such as yer self."

The vendor moved around the display case shaking his head a few times until he found the good lizard sticks in the back, still steaming. He handed them over to Renorlem and nodded his head.

"Make sure you enjoy yer day sir, may it be a pleas'n one."

Re: Bambono's Carnival
There were no words in Renorlem's vocabulary to describe the intense pleasure he was feeling.
There was nothing that was wrong.
His shop could burn to the ground in this moment.
He could never find the 4 masks, as long as he had his lizard stick.
The tiny oaken spear was shoved through the lizard vertically, its tail wrapped around the stick as well.
The skin was chargrilled, while the inside meat was perfectly white like chicken, with a bit of a tang from the lizards diet.
These might even be wild lizards.
The carnival didn't really have standards or quality control.
Finally, Reno took a bite, his teeth ripping a chunk from the still steaming lizard.
It brought him back to a simpler time.

-----
"That's it, Reno! Now go for the suplex!"
"Fantastic! One, Two, Three! Hell, you could count to a hundred!
He won't be getting up anytime soon!"

-----

Renorlem snapped back to reality, his perfect grinned marred by a few strings of meat from the lizard caught in his gleaming teeth.
"Ah! Leo, Natalie! You simply must try these. Cooked to perfection."
Whatever the rest of the night brought, Reno was ready.
He held the two remaining snacks out to the group, still smiling.
He hoped Natalie wasn't a vegetarian...

Natalie hesitantly grabbed the lizard stick. She had never tried one before. Bishop seemed to be enjoying it, and as far as she could tell, he looked fine so it must not be poisonous or anything. Well... here goes nothing! She took a bite. At first, everything was fine, but after two or three chews, she noticed she had a hard time swallowing. The taste... She couldn't get over the taste. Right then, she knew she couldn't take another bite. It simply wasn't her style. She swallowed what remained in her mouth, then handed the remainder back to Bishop. "Sorry, not really my thing. But... thank you. I've never had lizard before."

Re: Bambono's Carnival
It had been awhile since Leo had eaten anything that wasn't fish meat. The past few months he had only eaten the fish he had caught, but couldn't sell. He had thought about hunting, but he could never get rid of his fish fast enough. He took a bite of the lizard and remember the taste of a peculiar meat that he couldn't put a name to. It wasn't too savory, but packed in quite a bit of flavor. He couldn't help but enjoy it.

"This....is not that bad. It's pretty good actually. A nice change of pace from all the fish I've been eating."

Leo continued to eat the lizard until it was gone and kind of craved more. Meat is his favorite after all, and even if it was just lizard meat, it was enough to make him want more.

"That was delicious," Leo said, chuckling a bit. "Hey, Bishop. Know of any good hunting spots nearby? I may need to go on a little hunt before I head back home, hahaha."

KILL THE NONBELIE-
"Don't worry Natalie. It's not for everyone. And it's probably not good for you, either. Ha ha ha!"
Maybe Leo wasn't so bad.
"Well... There are a few spots right outside town. It depends on what you want to hunt...
Reno eagerly tore into the remaining chunk of lizard left from Natalie, devouring it in a few seconds, the sickening crunch of bone emanating from his mouth.
"Now that that's out of the way, friends, do we not have a main event to attend?
He gestured toward the large tent, checking his pocket to make sure to ticket was still there.
Hopefully this would be a rather nondescript and unexciting day.

Re: Bambono's Carnival
Leo looked toward the large tent and was curious as to what could this event be like to require such a tent.

"Sure,"
Leo replied. "Let's see what kind of event would call for such a big tent."

Leo couldn't help but ponder at what could be under that tent. Maybe a simple elephant act? Or maybe tight rope walkers? Or, if luck would have it, a battle of the strongest. Leo kind of hoped for the ladder for he hadn't been in a fight in quite some time, but anything would do. Though, a Legendary creature might be nice too. Well, only one way yo find out what's inside he supposed.

"Onward guys! Let's enjoy the main event, and hope it's a good one."

And of course he would be the first in.
Reno flashed his ticket to the masked man standing by the entrance to the tent, who pulled back the roll of fabric that was the entrance.
Reno momentarily shielded his eyes from the bright light, heading toward it.

Re: Bambono's Carnival
As the group lead by Renorlem entered the tent they were greeted by festive music, bright colorful lights similar to the ones in the plaza, and cheering from the large crowd in the seats surrounding the center ring. It appeared as though one of the big events had already begun as two strong men through each other around in a sort of wrestling arena. One man, who wore a colorful mask adorned with feathers, appeared to be the crowd favorite at the moment as he threw the his opponent, a smaller man, around with ease. The smaller man crawled around on the ground and the masked wrestler held his arms up and looked at the crowd. The cheering and yelling intensified and the wrestler leapt into the air and pinned his opponent underneath him. The smaller man shouted out that he gave up and the crowd let out a large cheer once more. A flash and cloud of smoke appeared as Bambono walked out into the ring.

"Behold! The strength and might of the great and powerful Fustamotre, the Masked Fighter!"

Fustamotre stood up and flexed for the crowd, letting out a cry of victory.

"While his opponent was brave, he too has fallen! Who among you thinks they have what it takes to take down the hulking champion of our carnival?"

Many of the strong warriors in the crowd stood up boasting that they could take the man down with various limbs tied behind their backs.

"Ho hooooo! So many volunteers! But who among you are truly worthy of the fight I wonder?"

The crowd was filled with loud cheering and hooting, friends cheering fro their friends as they flexed and swore that they could fight, others simply laughed and watched people make fools of themselves, and even more simply waited for the vendors walking around with a sort of candy cloud, and other fun and interesting foods.

The size of the crowd was astonishing. "So many people..." Natalie very rarely saw large groups of people, mainly due to both her upbringing and her line of work, but when she saw this crowd, it blew her mind. She looked around, up until something caught her eye. A certain carnival stand in particular. Chocolate-Covered Apples. Fruit, with a hint of sweetening. Natalie had a weakness for sweets from time to time, but to put it with fruit... there was no better bait to draw her eyes. "Umm... Please excuse me, I'll be back in a bit." She said politely, trying her hardest to contain her excitement as she approached the carnival stand and proceeded to wait in line.

Leo watched the event in awe. The two men were clearly engaged in a fight, but not like anything Leo had ever seen before. Leo loved a good fight, and when he saw a strong opponent, he could barely contain himself. So without even thinking, Leo jumped forward shouting, "I want a go at him!"

Though appearing childish, Leo was completely serious in challenging the man. He kept a straight face and donned a look of complete determination and excitement. Leo was not the same man at this point. He had the aura of a man ready to fight with all he had.

Natalie soon reached the front of the line where upon she was greeted by a boy that looked to be around her age running the stand.

"Well hello there miss! What'll it be for you? A candy-apple? Chocolate covered berries? Or perhaps one of our rarer snacks for a beautiful catch like yourself hmm?"?

-----------

A spot light scanned the crowd, stopping briefly on certain warriors before working its way towards the entrance and stopping completely on Leo.

"You there! Man wearing the shovel!"

The crowd turned to see who the ringmaster had chosen, and just as the glimmer of excitement entered Leo's eyes, Bambono smiled a mischievous smile,

"Send up the man next to you will ya?"

The spotlight then shifted over slightly and focused on Renorlem, and the crowd began to cheer.

She looked over at the arena, at the ringleader calling up... Bishop? Lucky him, but Leo really looked like he wanted to be in the fight. Oh well. Maybe a berry will cheer him up.

Oh no.
Not again.
Bambono was messing with him, in the worst way.
"No, ha, really... Leo's a better fighter tha-
Suddenly he felt himself lifted and pushed over the heads of the crowd.
A strongman behind him had done so.
Great. Being groped by a crowd of drunken hooligans.
Not exactly how he wanted to spend his night.
Reno was expressly delivered to the front of the crowd via crowdsurfing.
Finally he was tossed a few feet from the ring, dusting himself off.
He stared up at Fustemotre.
This guy was a newcomer. Probably just started the training when Reno left...
And that mask...
Feathers?
That was gaudy, even for Reno.
There was no turning back now. At least he could put the prize money to good use...
Reno unbuttoned his vest, dropping it to the ground as he removed his rings and necklaces. Finally, the gloves and shirt came off.
Who knew Reno had full sleeve tattoos AND a back piece?
He stepped into the ring with the confidence of a man who had done this before, wiping his feet before he stepped onto the canvas.
Finally, he stepped up to the turnbuckle, hopping up to the top with a practiced ease.
Focus. Just like before...
Reno held one arm back, one pointed forward in a "Release The Doves" pose.
With a quick flip he was facing the ring again, staring down Fustemotre as he hopped down from the turnbuckle, circling his opponent.
Hopefully the crowd was eating this up.
Now all he needed was for that bell to ring.

Though disappointed, Leo cheered for Bishop as he was forced to the stage. He had wondered if Bishop was any good in a fight, but never actually imagined that he'd be in one soon. So rather than dwelling on not being picked, Leo focused all his attention on the ring.

Noticing Bishop's movements, he knew that he had done this before. Leo was entranced by Bishop's movements and his blood began to boil with excitement. A real fight was about to begin, and Leo had front row seats to watch this happen.

He looked down at the arena and raised his eyebrows,

The crowd cheered as Reno prepared himself for the match.

"Oh hooooo! This one seems ready folks, pretty confident I'd say!"

Bambono left the ring and began to walk into a section of the seats set aside for what looked like nobles and important faces with the circus. Another man walked into the ring wearing white tunic, looked like he was going to act as a referee. He stood between the two fighters.

"Alright, fight until one pins the other down, or until one of you is dreaming away. No weapons, no killing blows, got it? Good."

He stepped away and Fustamorte stepped closer to Reno.

"Let us see if this one can match the great Fustamorte!"

As if on cue, the bell rang out and the crowd began to cheer...

"My name is Reno Bishop, and today, I'm gonna' make you famous..." Bishop said loudly and boisterously, getting right in the face of his opponent.
He hoped the crowd liked that one.
The staredown was like none before.
Bishop started the match with a fierce headbutt, his forehead smashing into Fustamotre's nose.
The masked man stumbled backward, before rebounding off the ropes, delivering a wicked clothesline to Reno, who fell on his back.
The crowd went wild. Was this guy gonna' lose already?
Fustamotre began to gloat. Like the feathers of his mask, he was showboaty, and Reno kipped up, bouncing up off of the mat as he threw a kick into the ribs of Fustamotre.
And another, as Fustamotre fell to his knees. The crowd knew what was coming, cheering for the wind up.
The Masked Wrestler wasn't born yesterday, as he caught Reno's final roundhouse.
But this wasn't Reno's first match.
With a quick motion, Reno rolled and slammed his other foot into the chest of Fustamotre, knocking him back as Reno quickly stood up.
"Not bad, but you still look like a flamingo's ass."
The crowd was eating this up.

Fustamorte spit and sorted at Reno's taunts.

"I will crush you and your shotty artwork!"

The wrestler pulled back his arm and threw it forward, but at the last second the he dipped down, hooking his meaty arm around Reno's leg, pulling back hard, toppling his opponent once more. Without waiting Fustamorte lept into the air and came down with a heavy body slam. While Reno was recovering from the wind being knocked out of him by the massive wrestler, Fustamorte turned and flexed for the crowd, soaking in their cheers.

Reno rubbed his ribs, rolling on the ground a bit, until Fustamorte turned around.
Reno jumped back to his feet, as the crowd cheered; and let Fustamorte know he was back up.
Next, Reno ran forward, hooking his arms around Fustamorte's midsection, lifting up and back as he let go. The classic belly-to-back suplex.
Quickly, he went for the top turnbuckle, holding his arms wide before he dived for an elbow drop.
A little taste of his own medicine; Reno hoped this would turn the match around.

Fustamorte rolled around on the ground rubbing his midsection, he was surprised that Reno could lift him into a suplex. The crowd at this point was cheering for his opponent. He pulled himself up and held onto the ropes, then he looked at Reno and smiled. Before the pawn shop owner could look behind him to see why the crowd had suddenly began to boo, a yellow blur knocked him down with an elbow to his back side.

"Zatoospun is here brother!"

The crowd was a mix of cheering and booing as Fustamorte's brother entered the ring. The two large wrestlers moved in, circling their downed opponent with cocky smiles showing through their feathered masks. The referee was shouting and yelling until Fustamorte delivered a right hook, knocking him out of the ring. Everyone in the audience began to fidget in their seats as thing were heating up.

Leo was at a loss for words. One minute the fight was captivating and wonderful, the next his new friend was on the floor and the referee was knocked unconscious. Two on one was not fair and there was no one around to stop them now.

Keeping his eyes on the ring, Leo said, "Natalie, stay close to the ring where I can see you, ok?" And without even a thought of hesitation, he jumped into the ring, leaving his shovel and sword behind, and stepped in front of Bishop to guard him from any more attacks.

"Two on one, is not fair!" Leo shouted. "This was meant to be a fight for entertainment. If you want to win so badly, you'll have to fight the both of us!"

Leo's eyes filled with determination as he shouted at the two brothers. He was not about to let them have their way, even if it was just a game for the people. He then smirked as if he had been doing this for years and knew he would win, then motioned to have them come at him.

"Unless you're scared that is~"

The two masked wrestlers took up a stance and then locked their arms together running forward attempting double clothesline on their opponents.

Re: Bambono's Carnival
Natalie began to worry. The show had ended, there was no doubt. After Leo had run off to the stage, Natalie began searching through her bag. It had to be there somewhere. Finding some Orma Leaf, a little bit of Red Nighberry, and a handful of Corri Root, Natalie began to work. She was lucky she knew how to do this, it was the only recipe she knew. She sat down on the floor and began mixing the herbs with some makeshift tools she carried as a "just in case". She used the crowd to camouflage her work. Good thing they were too distracted by the fight in the ring.

Reno looked surprised; before leapfrogging over the strike, rebounding off the ropes and coming back for a flying tackle, aimed straight for Fustamorte.

"Go for big yellow, Leo!"

"Right!" Leo responded as he followed Bishop's leapfrog. Aiming for "Big Yellow" as Bishop had instructed, Leo twisted his wrist for a corkscrew punch.

"You're mine!"

The crowd was going wild as the now tag match took off. The brothers looked back as their enemies lept over their assault. Fustamorte was caught off guard by the quick repose delivered by Reno and was tackled to the ground. Zatuspun was more alert however, and was able to tackle through Leo's punch and move him up against the ropes, delivering a few blows to his abdomen.

Reno handsprung up, quickly running toward Zatuspun, hooking his arms in a chicken wing as he pulled him back, presenting a defenseless opponent for Leo.
It reminded him of his old days in the gang...

This was an exhilarating thing for Leo. He had never experienced a fight like this before, so he was ready to win it with Reno. Leo noticed the defenseless opponent, and prepared to strike. Running at full speed, Leo jumped towards Zatuspun for a full-forced drop kick.

The force of the kick knocked the wind right out of Zatuspun and he fell to his knees stunned. Fustamorte had come back however, sweeping Reno's legs while he was preoccupied. He then moved in, grabbing him, and attempted to put him into a submission hold.

Finally, her preparations were complete. Natalie poured the new herbal mixture into a wooden dart: a paralyzing dart. The effects were temporary, of course, but they were very potent. After the dart made contact, it would fully paralyze the target within 3 seconds. However, Natalie didn't fire the dart. She knew it wouldn't be necessary right now, it was just a precaution in case the troublesome twins happened to try another cheap tactic like they did already. She readied her dart for fire, but awaited the right moment. After all, Leo and Bishop seemed to be enjoying themselves. Why kill their fun?

Reno fell to the mat, feeling his ankle lock back as Fustamorte put the ankle lock on.
The pain was intense, as Reno slowly crawled to the ropes, grasping the bottom one.
Right...
No referee to break the hold.
"Get this guy off me!" Reno shouted, grabbing the second rope, pulling himself off the ground to relieve some of the pressure.
He noticed Zatuspun beginning to recover.

Hearing Bishop's cry for help, Leo lunged towards Fustamorte to free Bishop from the hold. Leo locked his arms under Fustamorte arm pits to raise him of bishop and onto his feet. Leo then grabbed his arm to and threw him against the the closest ropes hard enough to send him back running. At Fustamorte, Leo jumped and grabbed Fustamorte, sending him straight to the ground.

"You ok, Bishop? Not hurt too bad, are ya?"

While Fustamorete lay on the ground stunned, Zatuspun took advantage of Leo leaving himself open. His arms wrapped around Leo from behind and suddenly the shovel knight found himself lifted off his feet. He rocketed towards the round as Zatuspun brought his opponent down, bending backwards with a suplex.

"No, not too ba-"
What a perfectly executed suplex...
Time to follow up with one of his own.
With theatrics!
Reno jetted toward Zatuspun, delivering a flurry of open hand strikes, and then a gut kick, doubling the Yellow-Clad fighter over.
Next, a roll over the back, landing behind Zatuspun.
"TIGER SUPLEX!"
Reno grappled the man's arms and locked them behind his back, tilting and bridging perfectly as Reno slammed Zatuspun head and neck first down onto the mat.

Caught off guard by Zatuspun, Leo had no time to waist in thanking Bishop. He noticed Fustamorete was still down, but fully capable of the same sneak attack. Leo quickly dashed towards Fustamorete and, in no time, came flying down at him with an elbow drop. He had hoped this would put him out of commission, or at least leave him immobile long enough for them to finish Zatuspun off and pin them both.

From: Plaza

Gorim quickly made it from the plaza, observing the festivities going on around him. People playing little games, buying merchandise, and just being cheery. All of which made him uneasy. He made his way towards a tent where he could hear much yelling and loud thuds.

After making his way in, he noticed the wrestling match going on and recognized Bishop, and sighed. "Somehow, I feel as if I should have known." He decides to take a seat and see how this goes.

Natalie awaited an opportunity, should one arise. She smiled, it looked like they had everything under control. Her knockout-dart would probably go unneeded, which was fine by her. She kept the dart and the blowgun hidden under her cloak, trying not to draw too much attention.

Zatuspun hit the ground, hard. He rolled around for a bit before shaking off his fatigue. He pulled himself to his feet and while Reno was occupied with the crowds cheers, he delivered a strong stiff arm, putting the man onto the mat.

Meanwhile Fustamorte rolled around on the ground in pain after being hit with the flying elbow drop. Leo could see that Zatuspun had left himself wide open.

Leo noticed that Zatuspun was left wide open and he moved as quickly as he could to take advantage of this opportunity. He was prepared to end this the quickest way he could. Leo positioned himself behind Zatuspun and wrapped his arms around his waist. Preparing to deliver the final blow, Leo tries to lift Zatuspun, but is unable to do so. The long match had began to take a toll on him and Leo couldn't muster the strength to hold Zatuspun still and lift him at the same time.

Re: Bambono's Carnival
Reno kipped up as the crowd went wild. This was it. This was the final moment. The big finish, so to speak.
He shifted behind Leo and Zatuspun.
His arms went wide, wrapping around the upper-waist of Leo as he began the fabled tag-team move.
"DOUBLE... SUPLEX!"
Reno lifted hard, every muscle in his body flexing as he bent backward, assisting Leo's own suplex.
And with a crash, Zatuspun his the mat, neck and head first. His shoulders were clearly down, as Leo's were just up off the mat, along with Reno's own.
Hopefully the ref was awake to count this...

Re: Bambono's Carnival
The crowd at this point virtually exploded with hype and awe, standing out of their seats to cheer at this amazing move. Zatuspun was clearly out cold, lying unconscious on the wrestling mat. The ref had, at this point, woken up from his earlier altercation and began to count out the masked wrestler.

As the two fan favorites held down Zatuspun however, Fustamorte had recovered, and he had brought a large wooden chair from just outside the ring with him. With an angry look on his face he raised it up above his head and intended to swing it down on Leo's back as he got up.

Natalie noticed this, and could see that he was at just the right angle for a certain knock out toxin she knew very well.

The small dart went unnoticed thanks Futamorte's flair-filled mask and as Fustamorte began to swing he suddenly fell to the mat unconscious, seemingly taken by fatigue. The crowed began to roar as it was obvious who the victors were. The ref moved over to Leo and Reno, grabbing one first in each hand, he lifted their arms into the air, as the crowd exploded, cheering for the underdogs that had defeated the carnival's wrestling champions.

Natalie sighed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness her accuracy was pinpoint, or that might have ended badly. At least her comrades were okay. She knew she'd have to go and pick herbs again to make up for lost materials, but it was worth it. After the fame and glory of their victory cooled down, Natalie would continue following them for now. After all, she really didn't have much else to do today. She came for the sights and for shopping, and the festival seemed to be living up to the hype. It was nice to settle down for a bit, to quiet down the work and the livelihood of life itself to enjoy the simpler things in life.

Reno jumped up on the turnbuckle, holding his hand high to the crowd as he spotted an old friend. Slowly the high of performing came down.
"Hey! Hey Gorim!" he called out to one of his regular customers, looking around.
The ring was circled by dozens of onlookers.
Filthy... Disgusting... People...
No, no, not now. Enjoy this.
If he could get his attention, he was sure he could leap onto the massive minotaur and get a one way ticket past this crowd...
But there was the matter of Leo and Natalie.

Gorim caught Bishop calling to him, breaking down the match in his mind. It was a well suited display of physical strength and technique, though the idea of the ring, and the use of various items, confused him a bit. He was sure Bishop explained it to him before, but he most likely tuned it out.

Never the less, Gorim rose to his feet to greet his associate. "Greetings, and well fought, Bishop, it was a most spectacular show of skill." He held out his hand to shake, though the idea still didn't fit right with Gorim, yet another Human thing he couldn't understand, what with all the touching.

Still processing the double suplex and Futamorte's face-plant, Leo looked at the cheering crowed and knew that they must have put on a good show. Though, all this excitement finally caught up to him as his stomach began to growl quite loudly. It would seem that fight took more out of him than he thought, and now he can only think about what the gang was going to eat. Leo moved sluggishly towards Natalie to retrieve his gear before they headed to their next destination.

"Hey, Nats. You ok?" Leo asked sluggishly with his stomach still growling.

Reno leapt over at the turnbuckle, aiming to land on Gorim's back, and hopefully not impaled on his horns.
"Hey I know this isn't exactly normal, Gorim, but it's one of those human things. I need help getting out of here."
He adjusted positions, pointing at two more figures in the distance.
"I know we all look the same, but I need you to grab the darker one, and the one with the bunny ears!"

Gorim shook for a second, not exactly fond of being climbed on. He had a bit of a glare that he assumed Reno couldn't see, and didn't care if he did. He sighed as he decided to get this over with quickly and he walked over to Leo and Natalie, grumbling under his breath. when he got to them, he didn't really give them a time to react or anything, he just assumed the sight of Reno would give them some kind of clarity, as he decided to pick them up and hoist them up in his arms, starting with the smaller one, Natalie. The weight of the three of them on top of his armor and weapons was a bit much, but he figured he just needed to carry the three of them out of the tent. 'This better be worth the coin I'll be making.' Gorim thought to himself as he began to move through the crowd.

Bambono sat at the top of the stands with the VIP guests with an observing look on his face, almost cold in way. His company was mixed on the subject it seemed, as some cheered for the new champions and others shared Bambono's disposition. One of the men cheered loudly and clapped, giving a thumbs up to Reno with an almost proud look on his face. Bambono scoffed and put on his stage smile as he disappeared, reappearing with puff of smoke on the stage, rolling one of the brothers over with his foot as he moved to the center. Holding his staff to his mouth, his voice once again echoed through the large tent.

"Well, well. Let's have another cheer...for our new chaaaaampiooooooons!"

The crowd cheered louder as Gorim carried the party out through the sea of fans.

"Leave the arena now and rest champions, you've...earned it...."

The cheering continued even as the group left to the streets, a small group of fans following them for a while before some of the on duty guards calmed the ruckus, sending people on their way as night was already upon them.

Natalie wakes up, the others still asleep. She always was an early riser. Then gain, that was all there was for her, for if she didn't wake early, she would most likely have been found as a child, lurking where she was not wanted.

Natalie looked around, as all was quiet. She waited for her companions to eventually wake up.

Leo rose from his sleep with a giant yawn. He tried to recall what happened the night before, but it seems his hunger had returned with quite the force. His thoughts were interrupted by a his stomachs fierce cry for food and he could barely think straight. All that ran through his head was when the next meal would be. Rising from his bed, he stretched and look around the room to get a sense of his surroundings...or rather, he was looking for something to eat. The world was completely non-existant to him at this point. All that mattered was food.
