Keepers United

While the Keepers of Olvar were dealing with the aftermath of their battle and the witch's hut, Radagast took off for Dol Guldur. He was able to reach it in time to assist the Keepers of Dinar with destroying the hydraken.

"Lainadan, Sky, and Borjnen... could you go join the Keepers of Olvar? The darkness in the south seems to involve Moridreth, the Dark Witch of Numenor. She is supposed to have been dead and destroyed since the fall of Numenor lo these centuries ago. I do not know what dark magic has summoned her to the here-and-now, but the Keepers of Olvar were lucky to have faired so well against her, though perhaps her power has weakened since Numenor."

"The rest of us shall root out whatever darkness still lingers within these ancient ruins, now that that abomination of a creature has been destroyed."

"I have also heard from the Keepers of Kelvar. They encountered some dark Orogs that had deadly dark weapons and armor. They were mostly able to eliminate them from range, but they send you this warning: avoid the touch of that dark armor and those dark weapons."

"They proceed into the northern woods to find the source of darkness there, though they believe it is the demon-spider Shelob."

However reluctant the three Keepers of Dinar are, they acceed to Radagast's request, and are soon rapidly following one of Radagast's Rhosgobel rabbits to where the Keepers of Olvar are.

Re: Keepers United

While standing next to the invisible hut she turned only to find members of the Keepers of the Dinar.

"Welcome.  Just be wary we have a mad witch on the loose around here or she might of been wise enough to flee the area and take her losses.

Re: Keepers United

"The witch left her potions book behind," Borun said. "Perhaps someone can find something useful in it?"

Borun offered the book to the rest of the group.

Re: Keepers United

Lainadan looks towards Lady Islie and says thanks towards the welcome.

He takes the book, and flips through it, scanning quickly.
He closes the book shut, and hands it to Sky.
"My knowledge on potions is... below average. Maybe she can get something out of it"
He walked around and went towards his new companions.
"Mae govannen," he said to the sylvan. "My name is Lainadan Cor, this is Sky Sheer'een," he points to the other elf, "and this is Borjnen Boulderol." he points to the dwarf.
He introduced his companions to the rest of the group.

Re: Keepers United

Haldir has been scouting the area, at first trying to find the trail of the witch, but it became evident after awhile that she traveled magically in her escape, and then just looking for any threats.

He did find the physical trail of the witch arriving in the area.

Also, his third time around the circle, each time a little wider, did produce another result. With each turn, the darkness that was affecting the area got a little weaker as he got farther away from the invisible hut and the campsite... except in one direction, which wasn't the way the witch had come.

In reply to Azurak the Blue (msg # 6):

Sky gave a sleight bow to her new companions. Taking the potion book Sky says, I am a bit knowledgeable in poisons, so possibly in the future I could learn how to brew potions. That is of course if nobody else can make quicker use of the book?

Sky then placed the book in her pack and said the words for Nightbreeze to come out of the companion pockets spell. The great black panther suddenly jumped from Sky's belt pouch and landed next to her without any noise from the cat's padded paws. "This is my friend Nightbreeze."

The large cat rubbed his head along Sky's leg and made a low pitched growl. Sky went about casting create water for the group. She then said, "" I could shapeshifter into an animal with great scent! but Nightbreeze might be able to do it better? Shall we at least try?"
