Outrider sounds pretty good to me. I've been pretty unmotivated lately, thanks to being busy with work(Promotion!), and I'd been intending to do something similar to explain my lack of input thus far. Hopefully things calm down soon, and I'll find the energy to post more.

My computer just gave up the ghost today. The screen stopped displaying anything, though it's lit up, so I'm figuring it's either the  monitor that somehow burnt out or else the videocard went out. Or maybe the hamster died.

Anyway, I can use my friend's computer on a more sporadic basis until I can get mine fixed or replaced.

Anyway, I'm still around; I just may not be able to stay on top of things all that quickly.

What is Elmohtar's great bird? And does it react to the presence of Landroval?

I think I made it pretty obvious, but that's a ring of feather falling that I gave you, Tila. One of the most underrated magic items there is IMO.

I get where you're coming from, but in this case, it might be helpful to explain my own thought process.

Jak's prime motivator is not helping radaghast, or saving the world, or anything remotely similar. He doesn't really care about the whole good/evil thing. Jak tagged along because it seemed like it might be interesting. While he realizes that the cave is probably unrelated, it is nonetheless still interesting to him, and thus worth investigating, to his mind.

As a sidenote to this, I'd like to point out that even if we did quickly investigate the cave,  it's unlikely to have a meaningful delay on finding the entwives(possibility of injury notwithstanding). Thus, I feel the decision of whether or not to investigate is not a big deal.

As for the chance thing, that's just Jak's shtick. He's very much believer in fate. He'll suggest deciding things randomly every time something similar comes up, because to him, whatever the outcome, it was always going to happen that way.

Hey all,  I'm sad to have to say this but it's become clear to me that I will not have time for much/any gaming through seminary.  30+hours of week each for my employment work and my school work leaves me with not enough time for my wife and children, let alone time for enjoying myself with you all.  I hope that when I graduate (or when some to-now unknown relative leaves me a fortune in their will so I can stop working while I do school?) I'll be able to come back and join you all again.  Until then, I hope that you guys have a great game.

Also, I just wanted to remind everyone that I am still working without a computer, except borrowing my friend's. I had hoped to have it remedied by now, but some more problems occurred, the latest of which is that my debit card was hacked from an online site I buy games from. I'm out a few hundred dollars for now, but the bank is supposed to give it back to me since it was a fraudulent charge. Just waiting now.

So some good things happened, sort of, but waiting for those to go through. Looks to be another week before I can get a new computer. $300 to repair  the old one just isn't worth it.

Still here; just slow on some days.
