Re: Discussion Area

Thanks Ro'Kath. I will ask the GM about piranha strike. I will be using a one handed/no shield combat style. It would be great if you could forward any relevant feats.

I know what you mean about feats, I think that it's the first time that I have struggle to spend my feats rather than having to discard feats I want. Lol.

Re: Discussion Area

Other feats to consider: Monkey Lunge and Sorcerous Strike. It's looking like the single weapon/free hand style feats I was thinking of are all archetype and prestige class options rather than actual feats.

Re: Discussion Area

Thanks. Mostly, I am quite happy with the build I have so far  I definitely want 20 levels in Magus. My only issue is that the Samurai class has a moderate Mount related aspect to it (while I see the character as more of an infantry type fighter).

Re: Discussion Area

In reply to Ehrendil (msg # 133):

You could always use the sword saint archetype for samurai. Does away with the mount and gives you iajutsu a few times per day. You'd want to take feats that capitalize on initiative and quick draw for sword saint. It's awesome when you get to use it. Can be truly devastating.

Re: Discussion Area

Welcome to the life in Middle Earth.  I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Oh Elured, I think there is a slight error in your information on the family chart.  I just realized something.  That my mother was not married to Elurin.  There is very little about her and I was trying to keep it like that.

For my mother is the daughter of Finwë.

In a fashion, Master Dwarf :)

In theory they're curled Maple branches but, surprisingly, I could nay find a picture of a woman with tree limbs sticking out of her head.

I may still change this, though, if it be too outlandish.

Ok so what is a Night Elf, so that the Elves of this game can understand.

I was about to react a bit different if I took it as a Drow.

Yeah, I wasn't really sure how to deal with that or with her acting kind of like a human gawking at an elf :3 hehe

Wren came off a bit more closed off and reserved because of it :3

Egads!

I still have to choose Haldir's (3) 'Magus' Arcana abilities, buy his
equipment, select his 10 feats, write up his description, as well as compose
his background.

Re: Discussion Area

There is no such thing as a night elf in Middle Earth.  Closest would be a dark elf (Moriquendi) and that does not equate to a drow.

Re: Discussion Area

I guess seeing that I am Moriquendi she wanted to be like me.  :-)

But still I guess we are playing with Pathfinder and Middle Earth and trying to mix the two worlds.  Which would be very interesting.
