Re: Out of Character Discussion - Part III

Things are good all in all for me. I'm finally taking care of some of my health issues and getting others looked at.

Re: Out of Character Discussion - Part III

I'm 13 days away from my second vaccination. The sun is shining somewhere. I'm still learning something new every day. And one of my cats just puked in my shoe. I'd say things are pretty normal. :)

Re: Out of Character Discussion - Part III

Dealing with health issues seems to be a theme here... been doing that, too. I've had more medical appointments in the last 9 months than in the prior decade. It's been an expensive year. :P

Not even going to discuss feline misbehaviors here today....

Alive, had my second vaccination as of the 24th of April, no real side effects worth mentioning, mental health carrying on with treatment!

There's one near you, currently grappling Volsh, but you can see (and hear) more outside the door, in the thickening mist.

In reply to Dungeon Master (msg # 343):

What's the penalty to attack the one on Volsh?

Re: Out of Character Discussion - Part III

Let's say -4 to attack, with a possibility of hitting Volsh if you miss. You could also try to pull the undead off of him, cut at the netting, or something else.

Re: Out of Character Discussion - Part III

At the moment, no foes.  But there's been some flares of fire and you've heard Haazheel casting outside, plus Volsh just ran out there with Thunder and is attacking someone, so you could be within attacking range with a move action.

Re: Out of Character Discussion - Part III

I have a surgery on Monday, with an overnight stay in the hospital. Not real sure what condition I'll be in when I go home, with a hole in my back and a drainage tube. While I have enough data to check in, I don't have enough to really post, and might not be up to going to my friend's to use her internet for a bit. So, NPC Dante as needed to keep the game moving, please.  :)

Re: Out of Character Discussion - Part III

Thanks for the good wishes. :) The surgery, I'm told, went well. I think the worst part was not being left sedated enough, between when the tube was put into my back in the morning, and the actual surgery in the afternoon. Now I know a personal phobia will cause a panic attack. I'd rather it remained merely a strong suspicion. :P That information goes into my "need to warn the doctor about this" notes, along with my various drug allergies. Bleah.

On the plus side, they didn't make me go home with the tube still in my back after all, so my healing is ahead of where I'd expected it to be. I just need to remember to stay very good friends with the naproxen, especially if I leave home for any reason. (Today is my second venture out, and it's going better, keeping that in mind!)

Venturing out in daylight? Just gotta make sure that you're not undead. ;)

I'm glad that the surgery went well.

Heh. Any vamps out here would be dry-roasted and withered to jerky by the time the sun set again. Temps here are all around 115+ F this week.
