Re: OOC 1 - Group 2
Opening post is up

NOTE: The letter that each of you received (mysteriously of course) basically detailed that your presence was requested @ an address located within the Vayas district called  the Red Groves. Keep in mind, you do not know WHAT the reason is... or how the letter reached you... or why you were selected.

So approach the gate, don't forget your letter, whenever you're ready and let the good times roll.

Re: OOC 1 - Group 2
What is the reputation or the roles of the followers, or priest(esse)s of, the old gods?

Re: OOC 1 - Group 2
There aren't many left, and those that remain have no power. Soooo I suppose the few that remain loyal to the old gods would probably be mocked or at least made fun of... I wouldn't flaunt it much unless you want a poor reaction out of people.

Nasukaya, just to clarify because your post kinda confused me. You are not approaching the city gate, you are approaching the gate to the district called Red Grove INSIDE of Vayas. Also I am assuming for the time being the guards can't see you?

Ya come save her, before she digs a hole that isn't easily crawled out of lol.
We don't have to have a nonstop banter but you keep speaking directly to the NPC so I am obliged to respond. Also don't underestimate the impact of things you say, or actions you take, be it to the captain of the guard or the masters. Just a mild suggestion, but no judgements here... it's definitely been an interesting interaction.

I'm not underestimating, she views him as humorless but taking his job seriously. He also answers to the people who directly invited her. She can try to do something to change his viewpoint about life...it will likely fail but she can try. And, the other guard started it with the dragging away to gamble. :)

Re: OOC 1 - Group 2
I know... hehe I wasn't chastising. I just realized in many of the games I have written in, on RPOL, the GM rarely seems to properly account for peoples actions. I fully intend on doing so, be it for better or worse. I just felt it was worth mentioning.

Re: OOC 1 - Group 2
i appreciate that. Salinda is who she is. she's also an adept fighter and can use magic to screw with people so she's developed a bit of a libertine way of living her life. If I didn't it wouldn't be portraying her properly. It's actually rather fun to play such a carefree character, even if she does understand the serious issues and what must be done.

Agreed, you gotta stay true to the character you are portraying. Also you know my feelers in regards to adept fighters who are also magic users... Lets say... she's functional at combat lol. ^^

Re: OOC 1 - Group 2
Well, when you add a boon fate in. Or curse...need to work on better curses. :)

But, Salinda's seen some bad stuff in her life, so isn't scared easily. she just wants to change the world for a better place, though. That's the goal. And Violence is rarely the answer to that. Souls, hearts, minds. She's a beat, not a hippie.

I'm glad you get the difference. I love Naked Lunch. most people think Maynard from Dobie Gillis.

I haven't read Naked Lunch, but Maynard sure provides some imagery lol.

Not the image I wanted to portray. :)

Heh. Ya. I'm on the lower end of 30. WOOT. /facepalm
I am honestly more a fan Green Acres or I dream of Jeannie than Gilligan's Island though.

I work at home and like a distraction. I watch way too much. Seasons 1 and 2 of Roswell are great...season 3 is okay and that's the one with the episode.
