Are you going to need a big plastic barrel to go with that acid, Lucinda :P

Also, a third group? You're the multitaskingest GM I've even seen.

Re: OOC 1
Ugh, sitting still and being moved by various devices has no right to be this exhausting. TT

After Lucinda's silliness has been addressed, I'm fine with a GM summary and moving on. I am not really attached to writing about burying dead people.

So should I wait on Lalita and Lucy's interaction to post the burial thingy?

I'd be fine if we moved on and she just responded later.

It's crazy for me too right now. I didn't get home til 1AM last night. There isn't much happening at this precise moment...and I'm a bit terrified because I'm just waiting.

Oy, that sounds rough Luci :(

Hopefully they get you two some help or... do whatever it is they need to do to let you have normal lives outside of work!

Re: OOC 1
Normal lives are for noobs!

Just a quick question, which I hope is okay, DM. Does everyone want to move on OC as well? I get that the characters would think that, but maybe the players want to investigate further? If so, Devi could totally voice that she thinks we should at least try and take action. But if everyone wants to move on it's not worth the hassle :D

Re: OOC 1
I know what you mean. I as a player am very interested in intrigue and shadows of war and such, even if Lucinda would be more interested in getting on with the game. However, if Devi brought it up and wanted to learn more, Lucinda would totally go with it.

Re: OOC 1
If you're asking about whether we, the players, want to investigate then I'm up for that. Lynessa certainly would, if the opportunity came up, but she'll go along with the group if we move on and hope that they can finish their business for the Priestess before Merand receives another letter.

Re: OOC 1
You should all feel comfortable speaking about what you want to do on your characters. Devi, ask as many questions OOC as you want. I don't think "metagaming" in this type of adventure does anything except improve the flow. Consider that whatever you decide.. be it delivering the letter or burning it in the camp fire.. whatever you do will impact the story, so you aren't missing out on anything "up north" by doing something down south.. the only thing to consider is actual time spent IC. For example.. the map will be changing shortly to reflect the appearing darkness. If you were to travel back and forth between freeport and tiro for the next 3 months, the landscape would change dramatically.

I have rambled enough. Just want you all to feel comfortable openly discussing your thoughts here OOC.

Re: OOC 1
I'd encourage you to have Devi say what you think she'd say. I don't really like it when characters bend to the will of OOC. I'm fine with whatever path the story takes.

Re: OOC 1
Jada, normally I agree. In games like this though, a vague but impending doom might have the characters rush onwards even though as players you may want to stay and spend an IC day or two in a town. Normally, when doing tabletop, you can easily decide amongst yourselves if you want to investigate something further or not. In this case Devi might be the only character who would have cause to want to stay IC, but since it's not for personal reasons, I don't want to derail the story with it. So it's good to know what the others think :)

Re: OOC 1
Ya, I understand what you are staying. I still think you should just post IC, even if all the other characters disagree with your character. As a player I am fine with whichever path the story takes. And I would hardly call investigating the captain derailing the story.

Re: OOC 1
Sorry for my absence the last couple days. Been a busy weekend... I've been volunteering at the county fair. When I haven't been tied up with that I've been too bushed to engage my brain and come up with a coherent line.

I'll try to get something up tomorrow evening ^^
