Looking over the Tempted condition. So Yngvi's next Ride the Wave roll would be at -2 because he's technically resisting the urge to frenzy?

You succeeded on your first roll to resist Frenzy, and you didn't state you were trying to ride the wave, so that means you successfully resisted the urge to Frnezy.  You are no longer in danger of Frenzy at this moment.

Wow. Just double-checking: with the Kindred Dueling merit dealing true lethal damage from melee weapons, Trask has still soaked pretty much everything? Just high Resilience and a good Vitae reserves?

Haha, these sorts of thing are important to tell your ST at the start of the fight

But yes even adding you sword's weapon rating as lethal damage as per Kindred Dueling he's still fighting.  He's just taken a few extra point of damage now that I know that.

Sorry. I also just realized the merit limits the lethal damage to the "weapon's damage rating" only, where I'd been assuming all damage dealt with melee weapons is true lethal vs. Kindred. So that last attack is, before Armor and Resilience, 8B and 2L? Or, with Vigor as a "weapon bonus," 6B and 4L?

So I was about to give a big speech about how Trask's Defense was just enough to dodge your attack, but that if you had delayed it until the END of the round you would have succeeded.

Then I remembered that that he was grappling, and gets no Defense.

So the question is, mechanically, does reliance protect against staking?

Hey Yngvi.... you wouldn't happen to have an extra Vitae to spend on physical intensity to make that attack do an extra 2 damage.  Would you?

Oh damn. Thought he was your kin, Liz.

And you know what, I do have an extra Vitae. Only just.

EDIT: Looking over Physical Intensity, it just gives an extra +2 die bonus. And I can't do a double-tap of Vigor 2 weapon bonus per turn.
