Location Unknown

Xander's eyes flick open to reveal a stainless steel ceiling and floor, lit by bright white lights.

Looking down, he sees that he is in a simple bed. White sheets, metal frame.

Looking over, he sees Battalion, Billy, and Rebecca just awakening under similar conditions. A quick examination reveals that none of you are injured, and that you're all wearing what appear to be identical garments made of simple cotton. They are one-piece affairs without any true pants or sleeves, not unlike a hospital gown. None of you are wearing shoes or indeed any of your previous equipment that wasn't directly attached to your body.

The room is large enough to hold the four beds, but not much else. There is a single door, also made of steel, with no window in it. Viceroy is nowhere to be seen, and you appear to be alone.

Xander looks around with his eyes, but remains motionless. He takes a mental inventory of the situation. Rebecca is here. So is JJ. That rules out being dead. There's no way they'd both end up in the same place.

Rebecca sits bolt upright.

That was odd.  there is an apparent loss of consciousness, however, that clearly can not be the case.

She sits bolt upright and hops out of bed to explore her surroundings.  The doll squeezed tightly in her arms.

"Oh god what-" Billy begins as his eyes open but stops short as he takes in his surroundings.  He grabs his cybernetic wrist, then pats both hands over his body as he takes a personal inventory. "Not again..." he mutters, his voice expressing more frustration than concern once he's sure he's in one piece, plus expected peripherals.  He stands up and walks toward the door with a sigh, "Hey where's my stuff, those glasses were expensive!" he shouts before attempting egress.

Isn't everything of yours expensive?

She asks the jab so fast and so dry it would be easily missed that she is teasing him.

JJ opens his eyes slowly and takes in the room for a moment, watching how everyone else reacts, before sitting up quickly, as if he expected to surprise the room into making more sense.

JJ too checks his body to make sure nothing is missing or otherwise removed.

The fuck?

He hops out of the bed and immediately summons some defense.

(OOC:  unless there is something the GM knows that I don't, 2 armed Battalion dupes will appear).

Twin Officer Battalions pop into existence without any trouble.

Billy swiftly realizes that the door is locked, with its hinges (if any) on the other side. There no push panel or knob or anything, which suggests the door slides into place from a panel above, below, or beside it... though no control panels can be seen to operate it.

Once billy realizes the door is locked and/or refusing to open he begins banging on it with his cubernetic fist, for added noise, "Hey, who's running this place your door's not opening!"  If there is no immeiate response, he spares a glance over his shoulder at the others, then with a roll of his eyes points his fist at one edge of the door and liberally applies a red death beam to it, "What did I even get involved in this time?" he mutters as he works on removing the door.
