It'll be a good idea to read up on this before you get started:

I'll assume that you have at least The Basic Rules {http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/basicrules} and if possible, the Player's Handbook.

An additional Player's Guide {https://drive.google.com/file/...T28/view?usp=sharing} that brings you to to speed on my persistent Forogtten Realms is set up for you to read.  It basically has a summary of my previous campaigns and how they affect the region today.  (Heads up:  What you do in here may have their own effects in future campaigns, or maybe even find campaigns that run at the same time affect each other.)

For best results, use a Word Processor Document or a Form-Fillable PDF to manage your character sheets.  Feel free to store them in any cloud storage you need (like Google Drive or Onedrive) and link to them here.  I've designed a custom-made Character Sheet {https://drive.google.com/file/...d2M/view?usp=sharing} for you to use with more generous room for notes.

It might also be a good idea for you to keep track of your Experience Points, Downtime, and Inventory of Magic Items, especially the ones you need to attune. Feel free to use a PDF or a Word Document {https://drive.google.com/file/...bDg/view?usp=sharing} which I've designed.
