I will probably allow you to retrain some of your feats.

I am thinking wizard or sorcerer for gestalt. But neither his Int (13) or Cha (15) is high enough although I will be boosting one at 4th level.

I am thinking also of doing shadow dancer with invisible blade down the road.

Recall your job is both
1- find (and rescue) him
2- convince him that the way of the sword is not the life he romantically envisions/get Lander back on the straight and narrow.
  Basically, he is an arrogant haughty stubborn headstrong teenage noble and is used to getting his own way.  Sure, you could strongarm him into returning with you, but that is failing 1/2 your mission.  I would suggest rereading the interactions with his grandma.

Basically, you need to use diplomacy to convince him to change his ways, but there are a whole host of modifiers to this roll and you have already triggered many of the negative ones.  You get 1 chance per "encounter" and I already rolled for Bobble and Makoto (who both failed - but rolled good enough that they didn't fail by a lot).  If you fail by too much Landers attitude will worsen (so Conan might want to aid another instead of rolling himself).

With that utterly underwhelming response of shaking heads...I have decided I can't continue this game.  I don't have the time now that work has gone back to 5 days a week and your lack of any attempt at roleplaying has crushed my DMing spirit.  I will try to post an epilogue sunday.

Ok I am still debating between 3 options for the 3 levels of gestalt.

1: 3 levels of fighter. 3 feats? Improved base attack and hit points. More feats to help get required
Feats for prestige class?
2: 3 levels of Ranger. 2 feats? And free 2 handed fighting? Also human as favored enemy.
3. 3 levels of sorcerer. Ranged touch attacks with sneak attack? Could be good.

Busy, but I will be off fri for the 4th.

Bobble, I thought I was the Ranger with Human as favored enemy, please don't take that class or favored enemy.   What I was thinking of Barbarian/Ranger.    If you do go ranger with Human, I guess I can go with Barbarian/Cleric, but I'll have to talk with the GM over it.    I'll send a PM to him regarding it after this msg. is sent.

My long weekend has started, fri is for the 4th and thurs is off from less freight.  I will work on stuff...

I think there is room for 2 rangers in the party, no need to go all 1st edition on me.  But IMO Bobble has better choices.

To explain my 80's reference, 1st edition DnD allowed only 3 rangers per group.

Bobble

1: I would suggest looking at archetypes, Two-Weapon Warrior and Weapon Master both seem good options, or look for an archetype that trades out heavy armor.
2: While a decent option as you noted, you are not gaining any skill points, which IMO is a big reason to take ranger over fighter.
3: If you are looking at spellcasting (and touch + sneak attack = NICE!!!) you might consider Bard, Magus or Summoner.  They can all cast spells in light armor, and the summoner comes with a flanking buddy.

I will go with Summoner as the gestalt class. It will slow down the feats for invisible blade but it sounds interesting.

Bobble will buy 1 +1 dagger. Not enough gold for a second one. He will pick up one alchemical silver dagger as well.

Character is ready to go once everyone is ready.

Bobble will take the 4 potions of CLW. However as his dagger damage is dex based he will give his Bulls Strength to Conan.

Is this thing broken?
