"I can answer that!" said a tall armored woman who strode into the inn.

"He's a prisoner with the other Redbrands now. We found his lair and cleaned it out. As near as we can tell, he was trying to gather a group of thugs that he planned on taking over the town with."

"So who are all you people? What trouble have they been getting into, Sildar?"

Maldor seemed more interested in eating than conversing with the other group. He approached the counter and addressed the attendant.

"Meat. Maldor want meat."

The half-orc stretched his jaw. His protruding teeth became more evident.

"And drink. Maldor want drink had other night. Strong drink. Good drink."

Mal looked to the side to spot the conversation going with teammate Mithra. He had confidence in the other fighter. Best she inform him what's going on than go through the boring exercise himself.

"Howdy," drawls Artem in his country manner. "We do have ladies, but I'm not sure any of us qualifies as a gentleman." He indicates to the serving girl that he would like a tankard of the usual ale. "I guess that's what we're up to. That and wettin' the whistle."

Artem pauses to sip a newly arrived beverage. "What's your name?"

Cunaar takes in all the new faces and names observing what skills they might portray by just looking at them. It would seem they were becoming quite a force as their numbers grew.
"It is good to meet you all. The future should be brighter for our working together."

As Hope and Thressa makes their introductions his attention turns from the new acquaintances to them. He returns in kind,
"Greetings, I am Cunaar Clothar. Pleased to meet you."

OOC-Did our group have a name? Was going to declare myself as a member but didn't recall if we had a group name.

Gimble looks up at the large Maldor, "I know the cheese here is exceptional. I haven't had any of the meat yet. I can get that out in the wilds. I'm sure it will be very good, though!"

Turning back to Sildar Gimble says, "I am no friend of marauding orcs, so I, too, would like more information about them. You said they were somewhere to the west of here?"

The lovely Sunite priestess makes her entrance with the others, and smiles through the introductions. "I am Lureene Raventree, priestess of Sune", she introduces herself with a graceful curtsy, "And I find myself in dire need of some spiced wine." She laughs joyfully at that. "And a song would be welcome as well!"

"We came here on some cargo wagons... well, some of us did. The rest of us detoured to the goblins in the castle, and then when we got back here, we went right out to the Redbrand's lair!" Mithra explains.

"At every step of the way, our group changed members, so we haven't had time to come up with a name. Heck, we haven't even figured out if we're going to stay together as an adventuring group! I'm all for it; beats plowing the north 40!"

"So we've got a couple of options here?"

"I don't know that we all need to go to deal with the orcs... unless there's gonna be a whole lot of them!"

"Is that the case, Sildar? Do you think the orcs are trying to stage a comeback?"

"With this many people, we'll have a tough time sneaking up on them. But I'm all for it."

"So that's Victor, Mikal and Gimble going. And me, of course. Anyone else want to tag along?"

Maldor gave a low grunt when Mithra asked if any more were coming. He turned to the female warrior and gave her a "Are you kidding me?" expression... At least one that passed for so for a half-orc.

Mal finished his mug and pointed at it to the barkeeper.

Where's the money for that, and where's the money for killing orcs? I came here coz I heard there was money to be had."Darvin waits with his arms folded.

"As for rewards, I do not need money myself for any of these efforts. I prefer to do good for its own sake. If it is appreciated, it will be rewarded."

"Well then, it sounds rather unanimous. We are all game for hunting a few orcs."
After dealing with the Redbrands, the orc matter seemed simple enough....crush them. Though things were never so simple as he recalled the goblins having taken him prisoner. Bad business that was. He did not know if he would be freed in time for dinner, which he might have been part of the course.

"Drink good. Will have more" he stated to the barkeeper.

The elf places his papers on a nearby table and takes a seat.  "Since we are now here, shall we discern what sortilege has been affixed to our prized attainments?"
