After the first three caves were chosen by other teams, that left Team #6 to actually 'investigate' the fourth cave. This wasn't a cave that the assault team had been in, so it was no surprise that there were Orcs holed up in here. There were five or six at the  back behind natural rock columns.

A sliver of deeper darkness behind the columns hinted that there might be a tunnel.

Knowing that the Orcs couldn't shoot an arrow fast enough even if they had them, Thia took a quick look around the edge of the entrance... and spotted the Orcs at the back. They clearly weren't very good a hiding... or else weren't trying very hard.

She then tried to estimate how accurate she might be shooting a bow at the Orcs as she ran by the opening. The good thing was that the Orcs didn't seem to have bows... at least not that many of them. Of course, that might not apply to these Orcs. She wasn't sure how many clans or tribes were part of this larger group. She seen symbols from four of them among the Orcs they'd already killed.

No doubt the Orcs within had seen the others go by, so there wasn't much point in being secret.

"So, what do you want to do, Viridovix? Unless Ero has a spell or two that would be effective in this situation, charging in seems to be our only option," she suggested.

"Better we lure them out than go in after them," Ero surmises.  "Even if they haven't set traps, they know the caves better than us.  The last thing we want to do is miss some hidden atrium and find ourselves trapped between two groups."

Both Elves has better eyes than him, but Thia seems to be the very expert about these things. It took some seconds more than the Ranger to realize there were Orcs...hidden, if you can call that 'hiding'.

The Barbarian smirks at the thought of the impending battle, and to assay his new companions' skills.

"As far as I can tell this is the only entrance, and Orcs are standing there. Thia, I prefer your way to deal with things but Ero is right. And I am the one here who can hold the line. You go with spells and bows, aye? I may have a plan.."

He scratches his beard at the thought.

"The Orcs feel safe, they are at home. Surely a wanderer like me will be an easy prey in these lands...do you have any mantle to lend me to cover the axe? Let them think i am a lost man in these wild lands, they will surely attack me thinking I am easy. Then you cover me while I torn them to bits. Do you like it?"

Guerrilla tactics are common in Viridovix's land, just like quick raids.
