RTJ

No RTJ's are being accepted, this will be used to track the Bookkeeping for the Mercenary MechWarrior game found here...

We will be accepting Players over X-mas 2015.

This is a Reference Thread and the main campaign is conducted off the Link below.

Minimal information from you to join the campaign you will need to select a Character Name, a Callsign, and and pick out one of the character templates.

3.70 Million cb to purchase mech:
200xp for Accuracy 4  {Gunner tn 4+}
050xp for Physical 2  {Pilot  tn 6+}
000xp for Mental   0  {Scout  tn10+}

000xp for Edge     0
{No investment in options}



3.45 Million cb to purchase mech:
200xp for Accuracy 4  {Gunner tn 4+}
100xp for Physical 3  {Pilot  tn 5+}
000xp for Mental   0  {Scout  tn10+}

000xp for Edge     0
{No investment in options}



3.2 Million cb to purchase mech:
200xp for Accuracy 4  {Gunner tn 4+}
100xp for Physical 3  {Pilot  tn 5+}
025xp for Mental   1  {Scout  tn 9+}

Your character has a budget at this point for purchasing stuff.  You spend it all, or save some of it for mech modification, and character development.

Available mechs currently allowed are listed here, along with the cost at the bottom of the mech specs.

{Hint the largest mech you will be able to start with is a Hunchback}

If you're actually interested in designing a character, you may look over the full campaign rules.

You still need to submit a character/callsign, to be added to the campaign, but you may hold off on an actual character submission as you review the full rules, and discuss options with the Game Master.

Kittytech

It should be noted that we dont actually play 'Battletech', but a modified version of it that accounts for roleplaying, and friendly to the RPOL forum.  Players in the campaign have refered to this version as 'KittyTech'.


KittyTech Turn order...

Initiative Phase:
Initiative is rolled, against a target number adjusted by the unit's leadership, and the mechwarrior's pilot skill.  If the character fails this roll, they are required to move immediately.  Characters that win may move at this time but is not required to.

Units equipped with EW equipment need to state if partial or full active mode is in use.  If nothing is declared, it is presumed to be operating in passive mode.


Op Force Movement Phase:
All Op Force Units Move at this time.  The Battlemaster will usually provide a new mission map with updated locations.


Player Attack Phase:
All Players resolve Weapon Fire.  If they did not move during the Initiative Phase, they may move before doing so.  (Torso turns are presumed and normally need not be declared)

Players may resolve physical combat, but the damage does not take place until after the Op Force Fire Phase.  Presuming the Character is capable of Physical combat after Op Force Weapon Fire, the Physical attacks resolve at that time.

Playes may make scout checks.

Players should keep a running total of ammo expended, and present heat calculations.

Players often roll Initiative at this time as well.


Op Force Resolves Attacks:
All Op Force Units resolve Weapon Fire and Physical Combat.

Damage updates are provided, and a new map is normally presented with updated unit locations for the start of the next turn.  Scouting results are revealed.
