He thanks you for the information and says that he will attend to the matter personally.  He tells you also that it's a good thing that the Luxor is only down the street from where he is, the Sands.

I'll go there as well. I won't tell the Sheriff that, but I need to see what I can see. I know he'll get there after me, but I might be of use if things go long. I'll take my katana, and my motorcycle. The doc coat should hide the sword a little, but the claymore would be way too obvious.

Re: "Doc" Woods - Chapter 6: Entering the Unknown
From the look of the parking lot, the place is packed tonight.  As your looking around, you see no sign of either Gerry or Faraz anywhere.  The floor traffic outside of the casino is heavy with tourists oohing and ahhing over the fireworks and assorted psuedo-Egyptian bullshit.

Either of the two of them could be anywhere.  Where do you start and how do you want to go about it?

Re: "Doc" Woods - Chapter 6: Entering the Unknown
I think my senses would be overloaded in such a place if I turned them up so I will not do that. If I can find a way to squeeze in unseen, I will, but if I can't get in (as opening doors with THAT many people about...) I will don a generic mask, look for a place to stash the sword, and go in openly.

Re: "Doc" Woods - Chapter 6: Entering the Unknown
Getting inside invisibly isn't a problem (there's an automated revolving door).  Once inside, you're in the main lobby of the casino.  People walk this way and that, entering and exiting the building, crisscrossing each other's paths as they go down various halls to other locations within the casino complex.  There's no Gerry here in the lobby, though.

Re: "Doc" Woods - Chapter 6: Entering the Unknown
I will still mask myself in the event that I become visible so that I won't scare anyone. With no clue where they could be, I'll just start looking around, mainly trying to find areas off the main floor. If it ever seems my senses would be safe to use, I will tune them up.

If I don't get any clues quickly, I think I will check for the security room. Maybe sneaking a look at the camera feeds will help.

You start to look around and just before you decide to look into checking the security room, you see Gerry and another man leaving one of the casino's smaller theatres.  He hasn't noticed you. obviously...

Keep going until I have a good reason to stop. I'll summon strength though, I want to be able to make my surprise attack count if I get the chance at it.

You begin pouring your essence into your physical traits as you walk.  You're staying to notice that Gerry's companion is looking around nervously as they walk toward the exit.  About ten feet remain between them and the exit...

I will act before they get out, but quickly I need to aura read the companion, to learn if he's kindred ect. I'll also try and glean his thoughts before I act.

Re: "Doc" Woods - Chapter 6: Entering the Unknown
He is indeed Kindred and he's scared as hell for some reason...

Before you can act, you see a flash of something running by Gerry and his friend.  It's too fast for you to see, but whatever it was, it knocked both of them to the ground.  You turn to where the form should have landed and see Faraz standing there staring at the two of them...

I can hold off now and see how this plays out. I'll slowly draw my sword to not make any quick, obfuscate wrecking movements.

Re: "Doc" Woods - Chapter 6: Entering the Unknown
"You are to stop and come with me, Mr. Flavin.  Mishka would like to speak with you.  If you come quietly, there will be no need for violence."

Gerry waits a moment.  You can see the decision as it's made.  His aura shifta from calm and secure, almost confident, to an unsure, yet aggressive demeanor.  He's going to fight.

You have a split second to make a plan...

Re: "Doc" Woods - Chapter 6: Entering the Unknown
My plan is simply as soon as they start to do anything(waiting so Faraz knows they mean to), I'll drive my sword into Gerry's back as many times as I can with my enhanced speed from hiding.

Re: "Doc" Woods - Chapter 6: Entering the Unknown
Gerry makes his move, lunging at Faraz with blinding speed.  Fares can't get out of the way fast enough and is knocked down.  You stop Gerry in his tracks with a lucky blow through him from back to front.  Judging from the apparent paralysis, you staked him.  His companion is in shock and hasn't done anything other than stand there.

Faraz rises to his feet and smiles.  "You make me proud of our blood, Mr. Woods.  Now, if you'll carry your victim to my van, I will detain this one.". He points at Gerry's friend who doesn't seem to make any attempt to run.  You can tell from his assets, he's to terrified to even think, let alone try to escape.

I'll do what Faraz asks, but not before attempting to probe Faraz's thoughts if I can.

Re: "Doc" Woods - Chapter 6: Entering the Unknown
In his aura, you read pride and disappointment.  You pick Gerry up from his place on the floor and begin to haul him out to the van just outside the door.  As you walk in, you see the ever-stunning Tremere regent, Mr. Daimante, walk into the casino followed by two other men in well-tailored suits.  The three of them start to look around and then proceed to head towards the small theatre that Gerry and his friend came from.

When you get Gerry loaded into the back of the van, Faraz has just finished placing the other into the front seat.  "Our Prince thanks you for another deed of service.  If things go well, I believe she will want an audience with you in order to show her gratitude on finding out this Infernalist."

"I was glad to do it, if saddened that it was a man I called friend in league with such beings. I want a clean peaceful city Sheriff. I'll do whatever it takes to help keep it that way. May I ask who the other guy is?"

"I too am saddened by the information that Mr. Flavin was in league with demons.  There had been suspicion, but no proof.  This other fellow is Frederick Jostens of Clan Toreador."

Unless you have anything to add, he loads himself into the van and drives off, presumably to interrogate the two in captivity.

I guess not, but will instead go back in under concealment, and see if I can spy on those Tremere. It's a bit fishy they went into the same exact place.

As your following them around, you see that they are investigating.  Diamante heads into the theatre and locks the door behind him.  The other two are looking around and occasionally questioning passers by.

Seems to make sense. I'll just linger a bit making sure nothing major goes down, and when satisfied I will head home.
