I'm going to go with the last time there were spiders they were within the mists.

The sparkling seems to indicate the spiders are about.    Also, wanted to encourage Viktor in his sudden inclination for leadership.  Won't extend to marching off cliffs, drinking strange potions, or charging mad Oonai.


What do you mean "the size"?    The size of the spiders?    Am imaging something about the size of a small dog, so far...are they only normal sized?

Yes they are about the size of a medium dog or chimpanzee. Reading back I've never even remotely indicated their size other than Khazim using a spear to fight them.

So I went back to the first time the group had a good look,  when one dropped on Viktor's  back

ahh, I was sure they were swarm like of nano sized spiders... Rael would have totally freaked if they are the size of a medium dog. :)

It is the light reflecting off of the chitin that makes them look like twilight vampires

So I saw the link, it did not come through.
Then this morning I found a thread in the General RPOL board.
Not sure if it is that you can not link in the OOC which is odd, or what is going on.

That being said. I've posted a few images in the player aid section, I can see them fine. I would like to know if you all can see them.

I don't know why my image link didn't work.   Went over it a few times to see if I'd goofed somewhere -- couldn't find anything.   Same standard code that works elsewhere.

I can see the images in your aid thread.   No problem with that!

EDIT -  Let me amend that.    I was trying to make a clickable link, for the pic, to avoid a great big pic in this thread that everyone then has to scroll past.

That didn't work.    Maybe rpol doesn't like links, for some reason?

that one no. They come in all shapes, sizes, number of legs, eyes, teeth.

The original picture that I found had it about 3/4 as tall as a "Standard" human

Best thing about this system is that Demons and other worldly critters are given a nice range of "what they can be" They can be as small as a housecat to as large as a pony.

Well to be honest I was getting sick of writing spider-thing, goat-thing, ect.

Just think of it as since it is a demon, and can look like so many things, tray the one that fell on Viktor was indeed spider looking
