Hello.  I'm a mercenary who has dabbled in profane sorcery.

I am currently leaning towards Hunter for the sneaky bow-firing type who uses some "charms" passed down from his family, not really grokking that he is dipping his toe into Chaos.

Wow, never before have I had most people head down the road of Chaos. Whee this is gonna be fun. Always like playing the lords of Chaos, they are always more interesting compared to the stiff Law guys

Well, my guy probably has little knowledge of the Lords of Law and Chaos anyhow. Being a simple hunter his life was about survival and helping provide for his family. A few little shortcuts to assist with his tasks certainly won't amount to anything anyhow....right? ;)

The path of Chaos is a long and difficult path to travel. Not like those perfectionists on the Law side. They have it easy, don't you know how hard it is to constantly be fighting with your bound Demons when you buy the wrong cod liver oil to coat them in?

You all want a thread so you can post your character info as others would see?
You know bragging rights on how cool your hair is and such?
Give as much or as little background as you want.
Other games I've seen them tied into the "opening Act" thread

Ohh and on the subject. This is my second game done in this fashion. Long time GM but typically face to face kind. Any suggestions, helpful hints, or beefs with my style feel free to comment/give criticism.

I try to do things more along the lines of a play/book. I split up acts and within acts I try to split locations, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. For example Act 1, Tavern. Act 1 finishes, Act 2, Same Tavern + things that might have changed giving a fresh posting thread to start from.

Ohh and on top of that. I work a rotating "day off" schedule. All of you who I worked with rapid-fire yesterday got me on my my day off. I basically have my computer open while I'm working around the house and simply take a few seconds between chores. On other days (like Today) I'm off to work in an hour and really do not have the ability to answer questions. My next day off is Monday, so once again I can do rapid-fire answers. Either way I'll do my best to answer questions asap without moving forward the storyline until "everyone" is ready

Added in a spot of a Patron if you wanted to add one, or if through the course of the game you are able to claim a patron Lord.

Why do I need to claim a Patron? you ask. You do not, however there are benefits to claiming a patron. For one, Certain actions performed in their name grant more allegiance points than for someone who is not a follower.

For example. Sabotaging a Merchant vessel to sink in deep water would grant a large amount of allegiance point to anyone who worships chaos. However, you would be granted bonus points if you had dedicated those souls to Pyaray as a follower.

Killing a cutthroat/lawbreaker. Benefits to those who follow Law, more points for those who follow Donblas.

And so on and so forth. You do not need to claim a lord. Those of you who wish to pursue a path of balance, only the elemental lords truly listen to the dedications. Balance does not need dedications.

Penalties for claiming a patron. None really, until you start to dedicate things to a different Patron. Then things get bad. Depending on your patron, some demons/elementals "may" simply attack on sight for you are known to the other side as soon as you start to "devote" souls.

I've got 2 that are "done" I'm trying to get a few final details set up. At the same time I'm having to "save" my other game that is running so sadly I'm putting a bit more effort into that one.

When I started this up things were going great, and all of a sudden it crashed, I thought I was safe to get going.

I have 2 that are still fleshing out concepts, no points down, 1 that is finishing up points. and the last 4 of you in various states of "done"

Oh yeah, and thanks to those picks, I think I know who is gonna get the role of the Doomed Champion :) or at least, one of two. Question being is who wants the role of Eternal companion? You know, the one who sacrifices themselves so that the champ can finish what they are destined to do, before they also die

Due to the holiday (and resulting "Black Friday") I'm not expecting much for posting till past the weekend. If you do great, if you don't great, that means your either stuck working like me, or you are paying attention to extended family.

So I am not sure what Khazim will be able to do. If he can, he will get himself off the floor, step back, and put his bow into use. Otherwise he will get himself off the floor and use his boar spear. Let me know which he can do and I will put in a "getting into fighting mode" post.

as for what you can do, anything really, you are merely on your "Arse" when the demons start to push through the membrane. Essentially your getting caught flat footed and will suffer a initiative penalty getting up.

That is unless you can think of something neat-o kean-o to do when you are on the ground.

Now i did not paste the wall of rolls and such in the combat. I know this form is not all that familiar to many of you.  Is there something i can do to help with the wall of text. Any suggestions for a group this size, even if it is an overwhelming desire to go to the individual posting style.

It's fine the way it is but another option is something I did running a Talislanta game a while back. Everyone would post their actions and rolls then I would do a big wrap-up post summarizing the actions of the group and the opponents. One nice thing about that is people knew who still needed to post something and took a little of the onus off the GM.

I agree with Khazin, most game I play do something similar. It helps because it take a lot of the burden off the GM shoulders and it give the players a sense of action and motion forward as they see other people actions.

Well lets try that then for this next round. I had a few comments that the version I'm doing feels slow, as there is really no visible interaction on your side, it is me simply collating your PM's.


So go ahead and post your actions, your rolls and I'll organize and recap. Rounds may go a bit faster if others see that things are being posted. With 4ish people in a gun fight what I do tends to go rather fast.

Before I post anything, what are the numbers looking like? Is it safe for Khazim to pull back and use his bow or should he stay in melee with the others?

Ok everyone I'm currently at work and I've only received actions from 3 people given the holiday we want to delay til after? I can move the scene forward otherwise when i get home in the interest of moving things along

I'm fine with either way.

Due to the rather low responses during Christmas, the turn is going to be delayed till a few more post their actions. Due to people being extremely busy from now till the new year, I'll be checking in, but only advancing the round once I get enough to go on.

At this point several people have not logged in for a while.
Rule of thumb: if you have not even logged into the game for 2 weeks, your character is dropped to NPC status. If I want to keep em around I will simply take them over till I no longer want to bother. Otherwise, depending on the situation, your character will either wander off to find better fortunes, OR I'll simply kill them.

Now that Xmas is over I am back to normal availability (I could care less about New Year's). So in that vein I have posted for Khazim, hopefully he can finish the demon.

I am still here. I didn't post the last action because I would imagine his using Physik would take a portion of time in excess of the amount of time that Viktor's combat situation took. If I was wrong I apologize, just let me know.

I didn't mean to sound so blunt. I have roughly 3 "inactive" people. Medical takes time. 1 post is nothing. 2 weeks not even logging in, well that is a pain to all in the game. I also posed it as such to let others know that some people may simply be disappearing due to excessive absence with no contact.

Thanks to the ever watchful eye of my players. Sheets (should) be completely up to date for the skill checks. I'm reviewing the logs to see what bonuses you all get for dispatching Demons when it comes to he ever Watchful eye of the higher lords, taking into account each of your own individual "standings"

1 who pops in from time to time, but has not really posted
2 who have simply vanished.

Of which the following roles are here (As I see them)
2 Tanks/Bricks/Walls
1 General Purpose DPS bent
1 General Purpose Healing Bent

Skills we are missing which may be helpful
We have no "thief". no specialists in Disguise, Pick locks, Oratory/fast talk
No dedicated Sage/Magic

This is not to say, that across the group, there are those who have some skill in them. It just is not up to "role filler" it is more of a "I can sorta do it"

As I said earlier, Next scene starts where I can cut dead weight, and shortly after, gain new blood. You all want at least 1 more?

A new person is fine with me.

I am cool with a new person, if possible I'll take someone reliable otherwise we'll have the same discussion a couple of weeks from now :)

As for roles, I like to think of us as a group of people with many skills and views that are more than a tag.

If you know who your characters are you can tailor the story to them :)

Sorry I used the "tag" more because most people try to quantify themselves into a particular role (we can all thank MMORPG's) I was more trying to use the tag to define skill sets.

I would LOVE someone reliable, especially since I feel I've got a great core going. I mean you can always get around a locked door Via Viktors large axe, there is no denying that, I just hate to have the "silent and deadly" approach blocked (for the most part) IF (and they always seem to do) they want someone to sneak somewhere for Purpose "A" so that Purpose "B" does not need to bash the door.

K I'm going to bump my old post and see if I can get a new person. As I said in the first place, I'm going to let people play what they want, Not going to pigeon-hole them.

I am pretty good at hide and move quiet but lock-pick? Not so much. Above average in the Trap skill but I don't recall if that applies to disarming them as well as setting them.

I'm going the simple route, yes Trap is everything pertaining to traps.

Pick Lock is severely lacking even in the old group. While we have a few with a decent Fast talk skill, most social skills are a bit on the lean side (Disguise, Evaluate, Oratory, Fast Talk, Insight)

Again, some of you have more than base, but for the most part, this group is lean on social graces. Not that they are needed, this campaign is designed with different parts set for different people. This first bit, to see how the party fares in a fight and to get everyone familiar with what everyone else can do. Now lets say you have to get into a Castle/Keep, Anyone really want to try and fight their way in?

Unless it has a sealed roof all around it Khazim could always sneak around to a less-defended area, secure a grappling hook, climb up, then pull others up if needed. :)

What can I say, he came from a nomadic hunting culture. His skill makeup reflects skills useful out in the desert lands he came from.

Well it is not like your going to pick the lock on a drawbridge. Was just giving an example, it was more for the doors and such inside. Or how about presenting yourselves as passable guards once you are in?

Basically as Khazim is pointing out. This game favors the smart, This is not D&D where you can take on a village of Kobolds just cause your "20th level"

Heh....not unlike the new edition of Hackmaster. Kobolds are fucking dangerous even to mid-level parties. Combat in general in Hackmaster is much more brutal than standard D&D (exploding to-hit and damage rolls). Unfortunately Hackmaster's tick-based combat system does NOT translate well to PbP...(although in general I really love how it works)

Hello all, just hashing out what I can play with the Grey Lords.  Happy to be included, I have always loved the Stormbringer game and books.

Was looking at playing a warrior/sorcerer but it appears that you do not need a "warrior" so thinking of changing to a rogue/sorcerer.

Well if you read the prior OOC, I've listed a small handful of skills that  the group lacks. You can be a Warrior/Sorc with Pick lock skills...

My biggest thing is: Play what you want. Some skills just make certain scenario's easier. If your smart, (Or you want to send me money since favorite snacks are not at the table) you can usually find the option to every situation.

*edit* oh and for all you new players ANY questions ask me. I'll try to get you the best answer asap. In addition, I have no problem doing the best to make suggestions work within the world. It may not work the exact same as you envisioned, but I will get it as close as possible while attempting to stay within the Moorcock universe.

As I'm a fair and just Lord of the Balance. I like to periodically poke those who are active and see if things need adjusting. Any tips, concerns, formatting styles, that would help keep things clear in moving?

I know my combat is a bit wonkey, and I've adjusted things last time around to help with the perceived speed. Next combat time I'd like to speed things up a bit if possible. I know that this is a slower posting game and I thank all for the patience.

Instead of waiting the extra day like I did last time. I'm simply going to update things every 3 days firm (Faster if possible). If I have to puppet your actions, I'll do so.

Something like.

Viktor step forward raising his axe on high near the much smaller Rael Gol. Lifting the hefty Lymorian axe into the air he makes a vow to Donblas that Rael Gol shall be protected by your own hand. Rael Gol on the other hand was standing a bit to close to Viktor as his hand and arm raise up for for action and vow. A faint almost imperceptible mist creeps from under Viktors arm. The stench of several battles and many unwashed years is to much for the fragile Rael to handle as he collaspes.

Now now,two of our members are like batman and Robin waiting on the wings for cool things to happen.  Rael is a non-combatant for the most part and I've got permission to basically keep him out of harms way only puppeting actions of he gets into combat.

I'm also at work quick messages and the like. No real "hurry", but yes Rael is the ad hoc speaker for the party but really is not the take charge poster for combat.

I would love for this combat to run a bit smother now that some "bugs" were ironed out

Just as a reminder and a heads up. You go inactive for a week (without letting me know) I simply take your character over for purposes of situations. Inactive for two weeks, your character will fade off into the story at the best opportunity.

I understand that things get busy. All you need to do is send a pm/message: "Hey I'm really busy with RL. My time is limited Gimme a few weeks"

At that point I simply have you as the baggage carrier with the occasional sword swinging as I see fit.

You know what is funny about Viktor's suggestion?
I just took a look at the average SIZ stat of the group. Everyone is wearing like Size Small Shirts, with Viktor in a XL

Khazim and Viktor are the two largest individuals, and Khazim is considered Average

Peanut Butter M&Ms rule! I don't know how Reeses, the peanut butter candy people, managed to fuck up Reeses Pieces but they did. To me they taste fake and too sweet, lacking the touch of saltiness that comes with peanut butter. Peanut Butter M&Ms on the other hand are everything Reeses Pieces should have been. So I tip my hat at your good taste in M&Ms. :)

It is illegal to sell mt dew in many countries because of some of the ingredients.  This is the main reason I stopped drinking it (and soda in general).

Are we all downstairs hiding?

Here are the relative positions.
Angrboda, Viktor, Lars, and Khazim are at the top of the stairs looking down.
Eclair is hiding in the shadows by the wine racks.
Guard #1, is getting a lap dance (Tee Hee, sorry but I had to). He is starting to look all blank faced.
Guard #2 is walking away from the table about halfway between the stairs and the table.
Rael, is giving a lap dance :)

Right now Rael has the chance to stab the other in the back if he really wants to. OR Eclair can jump out and yell surprise with a birthday hat on for the other guards birthday :D

Khazim is still around. For the most part however i am playing him. At least until he is back into the swing of things.

I tossed up the bump for the game again. If we get a new person great, if not, well I'll toss it up again and see how things go. I've got a handful of spots coming up where I can slide a person in with minimal effort.

I've received a bunch of RTJ's I'm working with a few to see if they they can refine their concepts so I can slide them into the game. Basically doing what I did with all of you to get things somewhat on par.

Felt like a good spot for you all to get a skill check. sometimes that extra point or two learned might make or break the castle assault. Started new thread, roll your skills. I'll open the sheets to make your adjustments

Also, Been dealing with killer bronchitis right now. so please bear with me if I take a bit longer to get back as much of my time asleep.

I'm going to start with public threads for each group. I think I can trust everyone here to keep the thread info separate, that and it may provide some sort of entertainment for the other group. I WILL keep the same overall speed in the groups. The posting rate may be different, I have no control over conversations, but the overall events WILL be synched as best as I can. That and Combat will obviously take many more posts than sneaking around.

Ahh as for trap, the Pick Lock is a catch all.
Basically it is a "open the item without triggering the bad stuff if there is any"
Naturally any fumble auto activates any trap associated with it.
Particularly nasty traps/locks get a penalty for opening.

Dodge would be the after shock skill to ensure that it hits Viktor instead of you :)

Given your background, you could always petition the higher lords for help

For those of you not in the states it is the beginning of Memorial Weekend. A bit time for people to be out, about, and generally not anywhere near a computer.

I expect that posting all the way till Tuesday to be rather slow.

That being said, take your own time to remember those who have fallen in the past wars. They gave everything they had to offer so that we can live as we do today.

I am unsure what the "Engage" roll is?

The engage roll is if you are attempting to "bypass" someone or to engage a specific opponent.

For example, 2 henchman and a boss guy. The 2 henchmen advance, no need to roll to engage them they are intending to be in your way. You want to get to the bossman, you roll an Engage check (dodge check essentially) to get by the henchmen in front of you.

It is something that was implemented in Elric! and in further editions of Stormbringer (5th)

Nope, no need to roll, technically since Viktor is charging down the hall like a mad bull he did not need to roll either. In some of the other fights, it is been needed, Habit and all.

I've been reading BRB 4th as I am considering running a game with it here on Rpol and I cam into conclusion that the system is darn lethal.

If you use hit location, an average human has 4-5 hp in his head, it mean that most weapon hits would turn your day into a very bad one :)

oh yes, BRP is extremely lethal. It is meant more for the "thinking player" rather than the old fashioned "I'm going to wade through this village of Kobolds and take no damage".

The original form of this game was Call of Cthulhu. In that game there are things that you simply cannot kill, to attempt to do so means near instant death. Combat is fast, fierce, and deadly. Think about it in this term, How many thousands of people can a dragon simply kill in Tolkien before you can possibly take it down? (Other than through a damn lucky shot, OR getting the one item that the dragon knows can kill it)

I fell in love with this system back in 1990 and I've used it ever since thanks to it's basic flexibility. I'm actually putting together a Mass Effect game (slowly) using the BRP rules as most of it is already there in a standard form.

I've been playing Stormbringer since 3rd, and it has used a very similar system. It finally unified around Stormbringer 4th ed. I'm using the DaVinci BRP book combined with the Stormbringer 5th for this.

I have one edition of Elric and its pretty cool, dark grim and gritty like the books.

I got BRB 4th ed because of this game as I saw how nice the system is in actual play.

It has some new things I like (alternative use of Power points as Fate points), the resistance table, something I am not fond of (you can lose skill ranks if you train, not clear difference between different magical systems, sanity points) but all in all it is flexible enough to allow much alteration and seem ideal to a game in the spirit of Joe Abercrombie First Law trilogy.

As you will eventually notice, I tend to play things a bit loose, no need for EVERY TINY skill mod. The system is completely modular take this, leave that, don't bother with Sanity  ect...

BRP is one of my favs too exactly because it is deadly. Discourages the charge in willy nilly feel of D&D for  grittier feel to me. Like the magic systems as well.

Basic Role Playing

The core system is like GURPS (Generic Universal Role Playing System) in that it can accommodate any genera "easily"

Yara herself, no. She is sending the sheep in first to get you all tired. You know like any good leader does.

I know BRB claims that but frankly I found the system to be too gritty and low power to really fit superhuman campaign.

For low-power/human games BRP works really really well IMO.

I'll be honest that I'm not much of a superhero person so I'll take your word on that. The few superhero games I'm played have been from either from the "Champions" line or the "Mutant and Masterminds" line.

I'm always been much more on the Cthulhu level, which is very much the mundane characters against the "oh-my-god" supernatural

Champions Fuzion is awesome.  I have tried multiple times to get into a CoC game and every time someone decides that sacrificing babies and summoning something is a great idea.....I prefer Cthulhu Tech personally.

I'm much more in preference of the Cthulhu like as in Sam and Dean Winchester (Supernatural) in season 1. The whole "lets go nuts for no reason" just isn't my bag. I'm also more in line of Poe and H.P. Lovecraft over Stephen King style of horror.

Actually it is the reason why I like Stormbringer so much. The Lords of the higher planes come down, dictate this and that, and you as mortals can only do so much to REALLY screw things up without the lords just swatting you.

It is my preferred game as well. Heroes are just not my bag, either the superpowered type or the D&D type. I do play superhero games but almost always as the villain if I can. Prefer the grittier stuff always. Heck, I even prefer Cyberpunk to Shadowrun truthfully. BRP is an awesome system and the Multiverse is equally awesome, but I was into the Eternal Champion books before the game.

I play in and run BRP games and like the mechanics of the system.  It can get a bit unweildly with the BGB plus monographs, finding things in the BGB can be painful too.

I loved the Elric! rulebook.  The whole game, system and setting, fitting within one reasonably sized book.  I think Chaosium have regurgitated Elric! into their Magic World book (what a sucky name!).

If you like the feel of D&D but don't like the ridiculous system, you could use Rodney Leary's Classic Fantasy monograph for BRP.  He is in the process turning this into a Runequest Classic Fantasy stand alone book, which is currently in the editing phase.

I do have to admit that this is my favorite game on rpol.....:)

Your making me feel all warm and squishy inside. I try to make it fun. I'll be honest, I've played a few games here where they felt more like "combat A, now that you are done, here is a monologue, now you are at combat B" I'm trying to not get that feel here. I WANT to have it so skills other than SWORD is needed.

Then again, what else do you really need when Viktor comes knocking on the front door yelling "Trick or Treat!, Give my axe your Heart to eat!"

I'm a long time D&D player who always secretly preferred Runequest ... well, the skills and combat mechanism, couldn't stand the cults or Glorantha setting.

D&D is easier to get into (because it's more basic) and there's more players around, so despite its flaws, as a GM it's been my system of choice for a loooong time ... but yes, Elric!, Stormbringer (and assumedly BRP) are far more realistic, deadly ... and fun !  :>   And it was Moorcock's Eternal Champion series that got me really into fantasy and from there roleplaying.  Hawkmoon - The Jewel in the Skull ... my Dad had picked it up for some reason (I don't recall him being into SF/F at all at the time), thank all the Lords of Chaos and Law !

I particularly like the skill improvements system (instead of leveling up), and that the Major Wound table is a nod to Runequest's specific hit location (for which I always had a soft spot).

And even though I'm still getting to grips with this system (with thanks to our illustrious GM for taking the time to explain things to me along the way), I realise that giving my helm to Rael was a brave move !  Just hoping to live long enough to reclaim it ... ;>

Oh, we don't need just the sword skill, there is axe skill and bow skill and let us not forget the  torture skill

Interesting factoid.  Moorcock was the first fantasy author to move from Conan type characters to weakling sorcerer characters.

Fun Fact, I did a paper on that very evolution for one of my composition classes. At the time most main characters were about the quest to get or achieve something. Elric was the first to have it all, throw it away, only to realize that no matter what he did it did not make him happy or feel like he fit anywhere.

Don't remember my grade though. I think that this was the paper I was supposed to do in MLA format. I went with my more familiar APA format, by accident, and was docked significantly.

Oh well. My first exposure was back when I was like 8 or 9 and my brother gave me a little black paper bound book "Elric at the End of Time". It got me hooked.

And Rael you are right, Who can forget Torture, Don't worry that skill will come in to play soon. About world 4 I think.

Well, I suppose the morally superior characters will have to do the torturing, Angrboda doesn't have the skill....:)

Rael is not morally superior, he just did not thought leaving a trail of bodies in a stealth job is wise :)

I happened to make a comment to Viktor the other day about the chatting.
As soon as the chatting all kicked into gear, the game seemed to actually come alive. Before it always felt like when the 3-4 days rolled around I had to push the group forward.

Actually I think that IS Berta.

The whip was like getting hit with a taser, however it only glanced you.
You can act normally still. Think it more along the lines of your arms are all tingly like you just woke up from sleeping to hard. You can use em, but it really sucks.

Since the two guards who are seeming to act in the group best interest have not identified themselves. I'm leaving who is who somewhat a mystery

Quick question for Grey Lords, are you using the BRP rule where you can delay a missile attack by 5 dex ranks (aiming) to get a bonus to your skill roll?

Yes, you can "Aim". It is also in the Stormbringer rules under "Carefull Aim" For each 5 DEX ranks sacrificed during a combat you gain 10% of your skill for firing.

So an archer with a 50% skill, holding for 5 DEX ranks would gain 5%. totaling 55% for the attack. One with a 70% skill would gain 7% and thus 77%.

Specific aiming (such as trick shots, or precision shots, such as an apple off someones head) halves the base skill, but full bonus for holding. 70% attempting a trick shot, 1/2 base to 35%, add 7% for each 5 DEX ranks sacked.

I hope it clears things up a bit.

"spells" are quick and over with that is what she is using, so don't worry things are over and done before you need to worry. Though you can hear the things "laughing" at you all.

Incantations/Summonings take hours(most of the time), once again you would know what is going on. These are not something you want to try to accomplish in a fight, unless preparations are made well in advance.

Yeah, I am just going to withdraw from the game. Being out of synch with you guys in the states and a much, much slower poster is not working for me. Every time I log in and see twenty new posts for this game, I groan and ignore them because I don't have time to read and respond to that much information, then the backlog builds to this (100 posts in three weeks or so). I just am not fitting well here. Which is annoying since I have always wanted to play Rogue Mistress and am really enjoying the game. Eclair and the story so far have been very interesting, but I am... well, I'd be flattering myself if I said I was holding you all back. Mostly, I feel you just tolerate when I chime in and ignore me the rest of the time.

Don't feel bad. I only know 2 people in this game. Eclair and Viktor, Sadly I work with Viktor... he is not all that different in real life... just less loss of limbs.

My initial game (which crashed and burned) contained like 7 people I knew. Only Viktor survived to move here. rest of them simply quit RPOL all together. Post rates to slow, they all wanted RPG's like we were sitting around a table.



I'm sorry but I have to say this. As a GM I thought what you did was a brilliant move, but I giggled like a school girl knowing that it was not going to work. I'm sorry, I just had to share that bit of evilness.

Hopefully you remember, I think it was in the "Dead Gods Book", where the Dharzi were set on Elric, Moonglum, and Sharrila (I think that was her name) the wingless Myyrrhn. Elric cast a spell that opened the earth and Grome took back those who were risen from the dead (the Dharzi) She cast the same spell. But these were not dead. merely corpses animated by demons.

Ahh the subtleties of Sorcery. Necromancy vs Demonology.  Traps for young players!

They should label their undead better !  Maybe some sort of colour coding ... red for demon possession, black for risen dead. <grins>

Same mileage here ... don't have any of the original players left in either of my D&D games ... I just have a recruiting drive whenever I need more victims.

I'll try to get things updated when i get home. I've been reviewing the game a bit to see if i want to open recruitment for another. More importantly i was looking to see if there was a convenient spot. Add it stands there is good break for a bit to "easily" get someone in at least till you are out of the castle.
