Added in a spot of a Patron if you wanted to add one, or if through the course of the game you are able to claim a patron Lord.

Why do I need to claim a Patron? you ask. You do not, however there are benefits to claiming a patron. For one, Certain actions performed in their name grant more allegiance points than for someone who is not a follower.

For example. Sabotaging a Merchant vessel to sink in deep water would grant a large amount of allegiance point to anyone who worships chaos. However, you would be granted bonus points if you had dedicated those souls to Pyaray as a follower.

Killing a cutthroat/lawbreaker. Benefits to those who follow Law, more points for those who follow Donblas.

And so on and so forth. You do not need to claim a lord. Those of you who wish to pursue a path of balance, only the elemental lords truly listen to the dedications. Balance does not need dedications.

Penalties for claiming a patron. None really, until you start to dedicate things to a different Patron. Then things get bad. Depending on your patron, some demons/elementals "may" simply attack on sight for you are known to the other side as soon as you start to "devote" souls.

So how is everyone coming along? I am now no longer a Wanderer and aside from a description and a background am pretty close to rolling forward. :)

I've got 2 that are "done" I'm trying to get a few final details set up. At the same time I'm having to "save" my other game that is running so sadly I'm putting a bit more effort into that one.

When I started this up things were going great, and all of a sudden it crashed, I thought I was safe to get going.

I have 2 that are still fleshing out concepts, no points down, 1 that is finishing up points. and the last 4 of you in various states of "done"

No worries man, just was seeing where people were at not trying to rush things along. :)

Completely understand. When more than a few get characters done I was/am going to post the opening thread so that basic IC talking and drinking can commence :)

I just need to choose some spells, and I am done.

I had one person sign up and then back out after as they were having work issues. I can do 1 more no problem as i have ran this asa tabletop with 7 people

He won't be able to participate.

I am not sure if I should wait for the GM or just play out the scene with the boy as a guide and arrival at the tavern...

It is pretty wild how similar Depp and Bloom look in the pics for Hraal and Corvus. :)

sorry, everyone, I've been here but mostly only on my phone. This is my long stretch at work and so while I can check in and look at things, there are times when I get home and simply crash.

As long as you do not "go in" to the tavern, go ahead and do what you will to the city of Old Hrolmar. I'm trying to get last person up to speed so I do not leave him to far behind on the opening.

Give me at least a day. I've got the Tavern scene set up, just making a few tweeks as we go. Again, do not want to leave to many behind just because work sucks.

Oh yeah, and thanks to those picks, I think I know who is gonna get the role of the Doomed Champion :) or at least, one of two. Question being is who wants the role of Eternal companion? You know, the one who sacrifices themselves so that the champ can finish what they are destined to do, before they also die
