They forgot to mention that they set into motion a rebellion with the torching of that compound....

We have a tendency to leave places in flames when we leave them. I blame Rael he likes to drink too much.

Well lets see.
Location 1 - Syfera, Left the Queen's estates in flames with 2 warring Fire/Lightning Demons/ELementals.

Location 2 - O'sidata, Now a Nuclear slag heap. Nukes do more than just an estate.

Re: OOC Thread

You don't hold much hope out for Londshire's chances, then ?

It's those damned ghosts' fault - only a matter of time before someone suggests "dust off and nuke 'em from orbit - only way to be sure."  <grrrins>

Did you say nuke? Time to clank something together. So are we with Khazim or still on the boat?

Well, there are four of you with these cool fire tossing weapons. I have little faith for any wooden town at this point.

Are you a dead head, Angrboda?

I always thought it would have been fun, to dress up in full hippie retro attire, and go to one of their shows.   Just once, for the experience.

Actually no, I didn't even know that was their song until I looked it up to post it....lol.  I just like the song, although I guess this one could fit too.

Back in 91 I missed out on a chance to see the dead in Chicago. It was the last performance i had the chance to see before Jerry died.

I was bummed. I was a huge fan in high school.

It's always a sad day when we lose some talented songwriter.

Lost quite a few recently, David Bowie, etc.

On long stretch at work. Couple with job interviews I'm falling behind. Busy wanted to give a heads up. That and my unmowed lawn is starting to growl at me as it is gaining sentience.

Re: OOC Thread

To my fellow players,

I'm sad to say I will be withdrawing from the game, owing to my extended lack of muse.  I'm sure you have noted my sporadic participation over the past few months and while I had hoped I would be able to break through it, I'm just not getting there.  So to be fair to Grey Lords and all of you, I will instead slip away from the game.

I've already exchanged a note with our GM, but I'll repeat some of it here as well.  It was my pleasure to interact with you through the game, and I hope you are able to continue on with your adventures for a long time to come.  Best wishes to each of you, in your gaming and personal lives.  Perhaps, if I'm fortunate, we'll meet again at some point in the future.

Thanks for everything, and take care!

Re: OOC Thread

As Cirok has said He has already talked with me.
First I want to apologize for everything over the last few months, RL has been using me as a punching bag and my wife is not helping. Sadly this has caused many things to suffer, this being one of them.

I'm going to honestly ask for help on this. When a person gets to a certain point of things getting overlooked, it gets forgotten. What can I do to bring things back on track? Be honest as I want the game to continue and sometimes I need a goal to focus on. Be as open as you want, PM me or post it here, I'm not vindictive, I've been a GM for most of my RP life. Each group has a different "feel" and it is often times hard to judge what is going to drive people away, or bring them back, till they have already been "driven" halfway away in the PbP environment.

Re: OOC Thread

Yes, and me three.    You did a great job writing your character, Cirok, and will be missed!   And, if you happen to have a change of heart, I'm willing to bet the GM would have you back.

The game:   I really have no complaints, and also think you're doing a fine job.   I suppose I have some "wish list" things, I'd like to see, but none are make or break for me.    I'll PM you those at some point.

Re: OOC Thread

I'm having a ball here - this is a great bunch to play with and an interesting world in which to play.   All I need is a situation to react to, and you've been supplying that big time from Day 1.

I'm a slow paced poster on the whole, and life seems to have been more than unusually busy over the last couple of months for me as well, though not in any bad way (busy at paid work, busy working around the property), so I haven't minded at all if the pace slackened off a bit every now and then.  Certainly not putting me off at all.

And you'll have to kill me before I quit (to paraphrase Yellowbeard).  Actually that's not true either, I'll just roll up a new character and dive back in.  ;>

Re: OOC Thread

Thank you for all the replies. I appreciate honesty when it comes to my play/GM style. You can not grow/improve if you are "always" doing awesome!!

That being said I'm always open to suggestion for anything.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me if you are feeling neglected. I know Esyld your part seems fairly bland at the moment. All the background and everything we helped put together seems, at this point, to be of little use. All I can say is trust me when I say that each character has a part and each character would have a time to shine. Likewise each character is going to be faced with situations that their character will be simply on the wrong foot (right Angrboda).

Though I will be honest, not sure what I'll do to Viktor other than have a world where ALL booze becomes water.

Re: OOC Thread

Well I am having a blast of a time, Rael is very different than most characters I played so far and he is working great into the world.

I know you had a rough few months so I am not complaining but I think a faster pace would push us forward faster and push the story ahead keeping the great momentum we had so far :)
