Ok everyone I'm currently at work and I've only received actions from 3 people given the holiday we want to delay til after? I can move the scene forward otherwise when i get home in the interest of moving things along

I'm fine with either way.

Due to the rather low responses during Christmas, the turn is going to be delayed till a few more post their actions. Due to people being extremely busy from now till the new year, I'll be checking in, but only advancing the round once I get enough to go on.

At this point several people have not logged in for a while.
Rule of thumb: if you have not even logged into the game for 2 weeks, your character is dropped to NPC status. If I want to keep em around I will simply take them over till I no longer want to bother. Otherwise, depending on the situation, your character will either wander off to find better fortunes, OR I'll simply kill them.

Now that Xmas is over I am back to normal availability (I could care less about New Year's). So in that vein I have posted for Khazim, hopefully he can finish the demon.

I am still here. I didn't post the last action because I would imagine his using Physik would take a portion of time in excess of the amount of time that Viktor's combat situation took. If I was wrong I apologize, just let me know.

I didn't mean to sound so blunt. I have roughly 3 "inactive" people. Medical takes time. 1 post is nothing. 2 weeks not even logging in, well that is a pain to all in the game. I also posed it as such to let others know that some people may simply be disappearing due to excessive absence with no contact.

Thanks to the ever watchful eye of my players. Sheets (should) be completely up to date for the skill checks. I'm reviewing the logs to see what bonuses you all get for dispatching Demons when it comes to he ever Watchful eye of the higher lords, taking into account each of your own individual "standings"

I'm going to put this all to your vote.

We have 4 Active
1 who pops in from time to time, but has not really posted
2 who have simply vanished.

Of which the following roles are here (As I see them)
2 Tanks/Bricks/Walls
1 General Purpose DPS bent
1 General Purpose Healing Bent

Skills we are missing which may be helpful
We have no "thief". no specialists in Disguise, Pick locks, Oratory/fast talk
No dedicated Sage/Magic

This is not to say, that across the group, there are those who have some skill in them. It just is not up to "role filler" it is more of a "I can sorta do it"

As I said earlier, Next scene starts where I can cut dead weight, and shortly after, gain new blood. You all want at least 1 more?

I am cool with a new person, if possible I'll take someone reliable otherwise we'll have the same discussion a couple of weeks from now :)

As for roles, I like to think of us as a group of people with many skills and views that are more than a tag.

If you know who your characters are you can tailor the story to them :)

I think we did pretty well all thing considered :)

Sorry I used the "tag" more because most people try to quantify themselves into a particular role (we can all thank MMORPG's) I was more trying to use the tag to define skill sets.

I would LOVE someone reliable, especially since I feel I've got a great core going. I mean you can always get around a locked door Via Viktors large axe, there is no denying that, I just hate to have the "silent and deadly" approach blocked (for the most part) IF (and they always seem to do) they want someone to sneak somewhere for Purpose "A" so that Purpose "B" does not need to bash the door.

K I'm going to bump my old post and see if I can get a new person. As I said in the first place, I'm going to let people play what they want, Not going to pigeon-hole them.

I am pretty good at hide and move quiet but lock-pick? Not so much. Above average in the Trap skill but I don't recall if that applies to disarming them as well as setting them.

I'm going the simple route, yes Trap is everything pertaining to traps.

Pick Lock is severely lacking even in the old group. While we have a few with a decent Fast talk skill, most social skills are a bit on the lean side (Disguise, Evaluate, Oratory, Fast Talk, Insight)

Again, some of you have more than base, but for the most part, this group is lean on social graces. Not that they are needed, this campaign is designed with different parts set for different people. This first bit, to see how the party fares in a fight and to get everyone familiar with what everyone else can do. Now lets say you have to get into a Castle/Keep, Anyone really want to try and fight their way in?

at this point I'm merely waiting on 1 for sure (I know that Viktor is at work) and one Maybe. Then I can get the next chapter going.

Unless it has a sealed roof all around it Khazim could always sneak around to a less-defended area, secure a grappling hook, climb up, then pull others up if needed. :)

What can I say, he came from a nomadic hunting culture. His skill makeup reflects skills useful out in the desert lands he came from.

Heh....not unlike the new edition of Hackmaster. Kobolds are fucking dangerous even to mid-level parties. Combat in general in Hackmaster is much more brutal than standard D&D (exploding to-hit and damage rolls). Unfortunately Hackmaster's tick-based combat system does NOT translate well to PbP...(although in general I really love how it works)

Hello all, just hashing out what I can play with the Grey Lords.  Happy to be included, I have always loved the Stormbringer game and books.

Was looking at playing a warrior/sorcerer but it appears that you do not need a "warrior" so thinking of changing to a rogue/sorcerer.

Well if you read the prior OOC, I've listed a small handful of skills that  the group lacks. You can be a Warrior/Sorc with Pick lock skills...

My biggest thing is: Play what you want. Some skills just make certain scenario's easier. If your smart, (Or you want to send me money since favorite snacks are not at the table) you can usually find the option to every situation.

*edit* oh and for all you new players ANY questions ask me. I'll try to get you the best answer asap. In addition, I have no problem doing the best to make suggestions work within the world. It may not work the exact same as you envisioned, but I will get it as close as possible while attempting to stay within the Moorcock universe.
