Coruscant: Jedi Temple: Onward and Upward

Krey makes his way into the bustling spaceport, all the while keeping an eye out for Vekin as he made his way to the liner that would take them to Druckenwell. Not seeing him in the crowded area in front of the Doldur Traveler, as the liner was called, he assumed Vekin had already boarded and followed suit.
Inside he made out Vekin's head and horns above the other passengers and so Krey gently pushed himself to his companion and took a seat near him.

The shuttle lifted off and out of the atmosphere. Once in orbit it docked with a large passenger liner and all passengers moved over to the large ship.  Once all passengers and crew were aboard, the shuttle undocked and headed back to the spaceport.

The two Jedi were assigned a room together.  It had 2 beds and a small study/sitting area they could share.  There was a small bathroom attached.  All other amenities were handeled on the approriate decks/locations.

OOC:

Think cruise ship, in space.  Anything specfic either of you want to do while in transit?

In reply to GameMaster (msg # 26):

Darnos looked to Krey while he ate one of the fancier meals offered on the ship. In between slurps and gulps of his food Darnos managed to choke out his words. "So how long do you think we have till we get there? You know, I am kind of worried about this man we are going to investigate."

Krey put his thoughts on hold to listen to his companion, "Well, the Doldur Sector is in the Mid Rim if I remember correctly, on the way to Christophsis. I would imagine it won't take more then a few days."
He paused to look at the Togruta's food, if Krey didn't know better he would have thought that Vekin hadn't eaten in a very long time. "I believe your worry is justified. It is a rare occurrence that we encounter what could be a new faction of force-sensitives. The power this man wields. Not just the force, but, with what we've heard, his tongue, could prove disastrous to the people of Druckenwell."

The Nautolan pauses, his brow creased, but before long he shakes it away and turns to Vekin smiling. "But, those are worries for when we find ourselves on the planet proper. Let's enjoy our time on this vessel while we can."

Darnos wipes his mouth and laughs "Quite a difference in quality than at the temples! Am I right?"

Looking at Krey Darnos stands up leaving the bowl in front of him. "Lets find out if there is anything for entertainment on this ship, we don't get out that often. Or at least I don't!"

OOC: I'm good with assuming we simply chill on the ship and skipping to when we reach Druckenwell.

Krey stands as the Togruta stands, Krey hadn't usually been subject to ships like these on his travels to find force-sensitives, so he was rather curious as to what the vessel held. He thought there was no harm in accompanying Vekin in a brief tour of the ship before retiring to meditate. "Lead the way." he said before following his companion.

OOC:

The ship is your typical starliner.  Nothing overly extravagent or luxurious. But lots of diffent activites, rooms, multiple decks, and social areas showing holovids, reading rooms, lounge, cantina, etc.

Think of a cruise ship, but in space.

Darnos starts walking down the hallway towards a stairwell and calls back to Krey "Always something interesting happening in the cantina!"

Turning his head back towards the stairs he sprints excitedly up the flight. Turning to the cantina opening after navigating through the ship's halls he gazes in.

Krey nods before following Darnos, slowing behind him as he peeks into the cantina. Keeping an eye out observing the doors and hallways of the spaceship along the way.

The on-board cantina seemed like a miniature version of most planet based locations.  There was a bar, tables, and a bunch of gaming tables in the back area. A human stood behind the bar, and droids wandered around taking orders and delivering drinks and food.

One of them approached the two Jedi.  "Greetings. May I get you something to drink? Or possibly to eat?"

Krey follows Vekin into the cantina, dismissing the droid with a wave of the hand. Darnos, it seems, had begun making his way towards one of the cantina's many gaming tables at the back of the room, Krey decided to take this moment to see if any of the travellers had any details about their destination.

Krey dexterously makes his way through tables before taking a seat at the bar itself. "I'll have a corellian ale." he says all the while casting a glance at the patrons of the cantina.

The droid pulled out a corellian ale and poured it into a glass.  It turned to hand it over.  "Here you are. The drinks will be charged to your room."

As most beings were settled in now, the room was slowly filling and coming alive with conversation.  Some were talking, some drinking, and others filling out the tables and games of chance situated around the room.

The activies continued well into the ships "night cycle" and long after most beings retired to their rooms.  There were only a few individuals left playing games when young, well dressed human walk up to the table.

"Greetings, gentlebeings!! Mind if I join your friendly game of chance?"

He smiled as he sat at the table. "Nothing personal, but I prefer to keep names out of this. It makes me feel better when I take all your money and leave you depressed and upset."

OOC:

He seems neutral.  Not really light or dark, and pretty sincere.

The game continued for another hour or so until the ships internal systems changed over to its late-night setting.  The lights dimmed once the internal clock, set to match Coruscant time, hit midnight.  Most of the patrons had retired and the rooms quieted down.

Vekin's gaming partner stretched and stood up after the last round of gambling had ended.

"Well I think it is time for me to retire. But do not worry, I will be back tomorrow to take more of your credits."
