Kwenn Station.  Yet another space station on the edge of nowhere.  Just like all the others it has the look and feel of being 1 small disaster from falling apart.  Located outside of Republic, Sith, and Hutt space it is one of the few remaining "freeports" in the galaxy.  The perfect place to move some product, or people, with no questions asked. Provided you can find the items to move...


"...afraid that we have no jobs at the moment.  The Republic is cracking down hard on anything that might have possible Sith origins.  This includes anything from a non-registered system like ours.  We cannot even get medicine in at the moment.  Your only bet is to find someone willing to work with the Hutts.  Even I will not sink that low."

The Twi'lek male shook his head while looking at Morgana.  "Maybe someone on level 12 might have something. The more unscrupulous traders tend to hang out down there."

"I don't like that Hutts but maybe if I can get something that is not so illegal. But thanks." she pays her bills and gives him a few extra credits. She heads down to Level 12, while keeping her hand on her heavy blaster. She makes sure to keep an eye out down on that level as she looks for anyone she might know.

Level 12 was typical of any station on the frontier.  It had anything and everything available, for a price.  On that level one could easily blend in if they wanted to.  Standing out would be difficult just based on the number of different species that made their way through this level.

One being did stand out from the crowd.  The tall human with the bright green hair and even brighter jacket stood out from the crowd around him.  He looked like an old contact from way back in Morgana's past.  The one who got her the job on Ord Mantell that went sideways.

He was talking to a Devaronian and and a Weequay and did not seem to notice her.

Morgana walks up to her old contact from behind with one hand on her blaster in case she needs to pull it quickly. "So this is where you ended up. Are you pulling some crap on this guy like you did me?"

He turned and looked at Morgana confused.  About five seconds later he broke into a toothy smile and laughed.  "Ahh....Morgana.  I had thought you knew me better then that. I am not running a scam on this man. I am merely offering him a business opportunity."  His voice sounded like he was genuinely hurt by the comment.

Morgana chuckles, thinking he can look as hurt as he wants.  "What you think of as a business opportunity is a scam to others. But when you are finished with him, I got a few questions for you" she says as she leans back against the wall.

The Devaronian finished talking to the other individual and then came over to Morgana.  He typed something into his personal datapad and then looked up at her.

"It is good to see you again. I did not expect to see you after our last meeting. I hear that opportunity did not exactly go as you had hoped. But you have found me again, so I think the fates must thing you and I work well together."

"I am not sure what fates have in mind but I do. I am just looking for some work and wondering what your doing here, sure its not any thing good" she says with a smile. before she says anything about what she really wants, she wants to see what he is up too.

"I am only here to further my business deals. I am a legitimate broker now. I take those who need work and connect them to those that need work done. And I benefit from having contacts on both sides."

He smiled a wide, toothy grin that looked somewhat demonic coming from a Devoronian.  "Would you like to meet some friends of mine? I can introduce you to many important individuals."

Morgana looks at the Devoronian "Excuse me but you and legitimate just seems like an opposite. But I am willing to give you a chance as you know what I would do if you screw with me. So lets go meet your friends"

"Very well.  I have a friend who is awaiting me in a hotel room. He is looking for someone of your talents. Who can move items and information around discretely."

He turned and took a few steps before looking back.  "Following?"

"Sure, lead on" she says as she follows along. She doesn't completely trust him so she keeps her hand on her blaster.

The Devaronian made small talk as he lead her down the street and into a decent looking hotel. He talked to the receptionist(an actual person, not a droid) and had her laughing within the first minute. About two minutes after that he stood and turned to Morgana.

"Our mutual ally is upstairs. If you will follow me......." He gestured to the nearest turbolift.

"OK, lead the way" she will follow him on but not go first. Normally she was nervous with this but she needed work and it was all seedy here anyway.

They reached a seedy-looking hotel in a fairly busy district of the city. It was outside the immediate range of the spaceport, but still within its influence. This was obvious with the amount of species and non-natives that were wandering around.

As they reached the entrance the Devaronian paused for a moment.  He looked around nervously and then back to Morgana. "Did I mention my contact was a Hutt? I think you might want to know that before we meet."

"No, you failed to mention that. So if things go bad, do I just shoot you first?" she says glaring at Devaronian "So you better be good. So lets go and do this"

"You always think in the negative. This is a good thing. You will be rich after this meeting. Maybe not immediately, but you will be rich!"

He entered the hotel and smiled at the Gamorrean there.  "Greetings friend! We are here to see the Great Speagella the Hutt!"

The Gamorrean grunted and pointed to the hallway behind him.  The Devaronian looked back at Morgana. "Shall we?"

"Oh please, If I got rich every time I heard that, I wouldn't be flying around the galaxy still. But lets go see how rich you think we will get"

They rode up the turbolift until it reached the floor selected.  The doors slid open to a scene of a fight in progress.

A gamorrean was laying on the ground seemingly knocked out.  Another held a vibroaxe at arms length towards a human standing across from him.

"Well, wrong floor I think" she says looking at the fight and not really wanting to get involved.

As Morgana made her comment, the human looked at her and the elevator.  He punched the Gamorrean and jumped into the elevator just as it started to go back down to the lobby.

He looked at the two occupants and smiled.  "Uhh, lovely weather were having today heh heh."

"Who the hell are you?" she says as she puts her hand on her blaster.
