Of course I can't use it for another level. If someone can benefit now I'd rather it go to them.

Re: Change in Posting Frequency

I believe both I and Angati can use it. As Kassius is more martially inclined, I'll let Angati take it if she wants; she suffers a deeper drop in capabilities when she runs out of spells, I can still shoot arrows and have Kibeti maul things.

Wait! no  I didnt want the horn! Kassius or Logan can take it. I was trying to say Nothing -nah-ding. I dunno, this accent sounds nice when you speak it aloud but it is a bitch to type out.

I am gonna try and get myself leveled up this weekend but am celebrating a birthday for one of the children. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Cool, Kassius gets the horn.

And Angati can't 'take' Vorsh go to the Lidu place - he claims the he needs any hour to shower, shave and change his clothes and then never shows up for the meeting.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

What with Beni showing foreign dignitaries around and Ron being really busy, we are definately running at low strength. Kassius and Logan, please don't hesitate to advance the story with a post even though your characters have already posted.

Re: Change in Posting Frequency

Alohan Nuari:

Prestige Class: Anyone want to assist me  on a cool, Nuari prestige class? Something that mixes the barbarian rage with the monk ki pool- like a crazy fighting style that potentially has 'explosive' results. I am thinking something that manifests almost in the form of fire. Maybe like a kineticist? I don't know, anyone have any ideas?

Interesting idea. I came up with an idea, but then it occurred to me that you're an martial artist monk, so you don't actually get a ki pool! Anyways, I had already written up most of it, inspired by the rage prophet, but replacing the oracle stuff with monk stuff and figured I might as well post it. Note that martial artist monks don't qualify, since they don't get Ki pool, but if you like it maybe the GM would let you retrain into a regular monk, and waive the alignment restriction?

This isn't particularly explosive/fire themed, although you do get flaming hands. I don't know how Nuari it seems to you, but it seems like a reasonably balanced baseline.

Enlightened Rager
Some monks lose their path, and become overwhelmed by their emotions, instead of controlling them. While for most this failure ends their careers, some eventually learn to blend two contradictory disciplines together.
Note: Technically, the only way to meet prerequisites is to take levels in monk, then have an alignment change and become an ex-monk in order to take levels in barbarian. Alternatively, the GM can waive the alignment restrictions on monks, barbarians, or both.
Hit Die: d10.
Requirements
To qualify to become an Enlightened Rager, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.
Base Attack Bonus: +5.
Special: Ki Pool Class Feature, moment of clarity rage power.
Feats: Monastic Legacy
Skill Ranks Per Level: 4+ int bonus
BAB advancement: Good (as Barbarian)
Saves: Fort, Will Good. Reflex Poor
Special Abilities:
1st: Savage Scholar, Raging Ki
2nd: Ki Fueled Rage, Raging Fire
3rd: Ki or Rage Power, Raging Flurry
4th: Rage Mystic (caster level)
5th: Raging Fire (criticals)
6th: Ki or Rage Power
7th: Rage Mystic (bonus)
8th: Perfect Clarity
9th: Ki or Rage Power, Greater Raging Flurry
10th: Greater Rage
Savage Scholar: Enlightened Rager levels stack with monk and barbarian levels for the effects of Ki Powers, Monk AC and Speed Bonus, the types of damage reduction unarmed strikes penetrate (but not unarmed strike damage) and Rage Powers. This does not grant extra rage powers or Ki Powers. An Enlightened Rager may take levels in either Barbarian or Monk regardless of their alignment, and is never considered an ex-barbarian or an ex-monk.
Raging Ki: An Enlightened Rager can use Ki to fuel his rage, and vice versa. While raging, he can activate Ki powers by spending 4 rounds of rage per Ki point needed. The action needed to activate the Ki power is unchanged. In addition, an Enlightened Rager may spend 1 ki point as a swift action to gain 4 rounds of rage.
Raging Fire: At second level, while raging the Enlightened Rager can spend 1 ki point as a swift action to make his unarmed strikes flaming (dealing +1d6 fire damage). This effect lasts until the start of his next turn. At fifth level, when the enlightened rager confirms a critical hit with an unarmed strike, he may spend 1 ki point as a free action to deal +1d10 fire damage (or +2d10 if the attack has a x3 critical). This damage is not further multiplied by the critical hit, but does stack with other sources of fire damage.
Ki or Rage Power: At 3rd level, and every 3 levels thereafter, the Enlightened Rager may take a Rage power, or a Ki power (as determined by the qingong monk archetype). The Enlightened Rager must meet any monk or Barbarian level prerequisites for the power as normal (Remember Enlightened Rager levels stack with both Monk and Barbarian levels for this purpose).
Raging Flurry: At 3rd level, when the Enlightened Rager is raging and using flurry of blows, he may make two additional attacks when he uses flurry of blows, as if using improved two-weapon fighting, even if he does not meet the prerequisites of the feat. At 9th level, he can make three extra attacks, as if using greater two-weapon fighting.
Rage Mystic: Starting at 4th level, a rage prophet’s Ki powers grow more potent when he rages. When using moment of clarity, he adds his barbarian level to his monk level. At 7th level, he adds his Constitution bonus to the save DC of any Ki abilities activated while raging, or at any single die roll used while activating Ki (such as the attack roll when gaining an extra attack, or the acrobatics roll while using High Jump).
Perfect Clarity: At 8th level, an Enlightened Rager may activate Ki spell-like abilities that target himself without having to use clarity of mind. In addition, he may activate clarity of mind as an immediate action, instead of as a swift action.
Greater Rage: At 10th level, when an Enlightened Rager enters a rage, his morale bonus to Strength and Constitution increases to +6 and his morale bonus on Will saves increases to +3.

Re: Change in Posting Frequency

In the brawler, there is an archetype that has a couple of things that I think fit you quite well...

Take a look at:

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classe...de-brawler-archetype

I think it can be modified somehow to fit you, either as an archetype for you or adapting it to a prestige.

Re: Change in Posting Frequency

The Savage Tide AP introduces the Totemic Demonslayer prestige class:

http://www.realmshelps.net/cha...micdemonslayer.shtml

I like the idea of powers coming from tattoos that are gradually added over time, but it is unfortunately one of those shitty martial prestige classes that have spell casting levels - I've just never seen the point in that. Maybe we could rework it, remove the spellcasting and make the totem tattoos more potent.

Posted at the exact same time!

Ron, in regards to the prestige class, do you even need one? You're already an unchained savage barbarian / unchained martial artist monk, that is a pretty good combo. Prestige classes aren't as necessary in pathfinder as they were in 3.5.

Yeps... for the most part they lack lustre...

Have you checked the monk archetypes... some are really really great... same with barbarian.
