Re: 2B - TBG - Part Two: Kraken's Cove

Angati saw the corpse starting to bubble and covered herself with the shield, avoiding to get hit by acid splash. Then, she turned, instructing the gauntlet to strike the nearest shark thing, and following suit with a very well aimed morningstar hit that stroke the thing right on its head.

Re: 2B - TBG - Part Two: Kraken's Cove

Kibeti dodges the worst of the acid, although even the few drops the fall on him sizzle harmlessly, something about his magical nature ignoring the acid. Instead, the cat advances forward, attacking another foe. This time however, the cat is considerably less successful.

Kassius meanwhile continues to make good speed, his magically webbed hands and feet allowing him to move with amphibious ease.

Angati hits one of the savages with her morning star, but her magical hammer misses

yes, you missed with 16!

Kibeti misses with all of his attacks

Only one save vs the acid needed, since he was out of range of the first attack.

Kassius makes good progress swimming to the shore.

As the pirate evaded his blows, Logan fumed.  "Anyone have any idea what these things are?  Vanthus certainly meets some unsavory...people-things."

ROUND THREE - END OF PLAYERS' TURN
ROUND THREE - START OF OPPONENTS' TURN

The two remaining savage pirates maneuver so that Logan is flanked, then one jumps forward and ripped Logan's neck open with a massive bite (critical hit). Angati grimaces and finds another reality but it isn't much better. The brute still manages to bite Logan (6hp damage) and the rogue is staggered, barely conscious on his feet.

The other pirate gives an inhuman snarl and steps forward, cutting into Kibeti's side with his short sword (6 hp damage).

The two remaining savage pirates step forward, one of them into the bubbling remains of his comrade, and continue to focus on Logan - fortunately all four of their attacks miss.

Kassius continues to make solid progress towards shore.

Kibeti yowls in displeasure at the sheer effrontery of the foe that dared to strike at him. He attempts to return the favor, but the creature dodges one claw attack, and a desperate thrust of his blade prevents Kibeti from sinking his teeth into the foe. Still, as the cat dances out of the way of the attack, his second claw rakes the man's back for some damage.

Is that a cricket metaphor?

Celene manages to swim forwards 15', but realizes with dismay that she is going to be far to late to the battle to be any help. Kassius also makes 15' - he'll make it to shore next round if he continues with his progress. Alohan suddenly gets a cramp in on of his calf muscle (Sorry, but I rolled for you Ron). He only manages to swim 10' this round, but can still make the shore next round if he can push past the pain.

Re: 2B - TBG - Part Two: Kraken's Cove

Probably it was the sight of the two monsters turning down on her, but the fact was that Angati felt a sudden realisation of how close to her demise she would be if her friends didn't get there soon... without an armor she didn't stand much of a chance of fencing off the two fellows long enough for her friends to arrive.

Angati risked a look behind her to see how they were doing and missed both attacks because of this. The gauntlet, as if being recalled to wherever it had been summoned from in the first place, became translucent disappearing just as it had materialised.
