Alohan, I don't know what you were planning on doing with your character, but weren't you taking levels on monk ? shouldn't you be looking at monk weapons so as to flurry as needed ?.

To me though, that looks exotic enough and goes perfectly with your "monkish" islander background so I'd probably rule that it was tagged "monk" weapon too... *wink*wink*wink*

Kassius, have fun at astronomy camp.

Beni, yeah, how could I say no to making it a 'monk' weapon? It is such a great fit.

Urol has more he could contribute, I just don't want to use up all his bombs and extracts on one encounter.

It's weird that these two encounters ended up getting wrapped into one fight. It wasn't meant to be like that.

Ok, maybe someone can help me as to how to make pressure or noise about this:

I have made a reservation at Expedia at:
https://www.expedia.com/Bir-El...caf-33e491b40870&;

Which, as you can see, makes CLEAR CLAIMS as to being all inclusive. BUT when you access any of the offers and make the actual reservation, it appears a "Breakfast included in small letters".

We did not notice, made the reservation and have ended up with a reservation just breakfast included thinking that we had an all included, only the hotel manager did notice.

Now, this happens with all the reservations for the hotel.

At expedia, they offer a refund until the 23rd (before entering the hotel), and say its my fault as it said only breakfast included.

But I call them because I don't know about the US but in Spain, if when you are to purchase there is a claim they need to fulfil this claim. They maintain that later on it is specified that its only breakfast.

What kills me is that I know the hotel, and the hotel DONT sell rooms with only breakfast but the IDIOTS at expedia are not able to contact or properly talk with the hotel to clear this out, and the guys at the hotel... well... they are not bright lights exactly. Still, my issue is with Expedia, for cheating publicity.

Any ideas ?.

I had a look. First of all it looks awesome! And yeah, it say 'All Inclusive' at the top and then 'includes breakfast' further down. That is so BS!

I'm around this week, but I'll be on vacation next week (starting 6/27).  I think I might have limited internet access at some nights, but I'll be biking and hiking in some National Parks out west, so I don't know how reliable everything might be.

@DM: In tunisia. You see its middle of Ramadan, and so as the resort is close to where I work, it works out nicely for my family and I, they stay there, and I come and go to work, very easily. Else, they get stuck at home for 2 weeks without being able to do anything

I will be really off from the 22nd July to the 15th August, I am going back to Spain there.

Sounds like a good break - @AngryJohn & Ron, please don't feel obligated to post! I will just NPC you when necessary.

@Beni, nice idea setting the family up in a resort so they can have a fun. When I used to get sent out of town on work and put up in a fancy hotel (back in the good old oil & gas days) I would sometimes bring my wife and kid and let them hang out while I was working. Good times.

Ugh. The summer slow down is here. Who wants to stay inside and roll d20's, especially virtual ones, when you could be outside enjoying the sun...

Damn I love this game.

And I want to be a pirate. But not one of those nasty Somalian types, I want to be a Pirates of the Caribbean type.

Re: OOC3

You know what I want to do? Take my dice to the beach and play DnD outside. Think about it- what better medium to draw your dungeons in but sand?! You'd have to put your sheets in water tight bags and stuff but that should be an issue

Re: OOC3

We'd all do it from memory - no physical character sheets allowed. And draw the battle map in the sand and use shells to show where our character were.

When we get to the final battle in module 12 we'll all go over to Tunisia and play it out in person. :D

Heh, I would love that.

Why would it be a hard sell ?, Tunisia is beautiful and safe enough, really, I am with my kids here, else I wouldn't be.

I meant more the prospect of telling my wife that we're taking an international trip for the sole purpose of playing D&D with people I've never actually met in person.

Re: OOC3

You added the damage from the crit roll and the initial roll together right?

Bows are x3 on a crit.
