Re: OOC3

I wish it were easy to extract all of Alohan's d20 rolls so I could run a statistical analysis on them. I bet the sum of his rolls would be in the bottom 5% probability.

Re: OOC3

That was quick! And his average is 7.3 vs 10.5 for the mean of a d20? That isn't that bad.

But we need a bigger sample size. We'll have to keep track of it from here on in and see if he can improve ;D

Re: OOC3

Bigger sample size? I have a habit of posting the dice results in my posts so allow me to go back a few for my curiosity. May 26th I rolled a 3 on a reflex save but an 11 & a 15 on some FoB. May 25th I rolled a 6, 14, and a 1. 9 on a reflex save, 17 on an attack. Continues as follows- 19, 12, 1, 13, 5, 9, 6, 17, 8, 11, 10, 18

These chunk of numbers give me a 10 on average and that was going back to the end of April. So it has been below average for the better part of three to four months. That also coincided with us reaching the Crimson Cave so if you go back before that, the last time I remembered rolling decent was during the Quarantine of Steel arch in March of this year. March!

Them damn weapons put a curse on me. Plain and simple.

It does make me wonder why she wants him?

Unless that has been explained previously. I think I saw Diamondback in a thread somewhere from the past.

Re: OOC3

Correct, Angati was the one who started up a conversation with her - hence why she was the one targeted by Diamonback first :D

She is a skinny Alphatian stiltwalker/acrobat who apparently freelances in assassinations.

I wonder where we will find Diamondback's corpse?

Which door has the most concealed approach?

Re: OOC3

Yeah, nice way to get rid of a troublesome NPC prisoner guys.

The garden is so overgrown that it is possible to sneak up to both entrances with good cover. You almost need to walk past the front door to get to the side door.

Assuming they didn't scale a wall somewhere.

Is there any water on the grounds? Ponds?

Re: OOC3

Yes, there is a fountain in the middle of the inner courtyard where a fair amount of water is magically pumped out of the ground, and flows out northwards towards a canal.

The manor house is actually build into the side of a hill (this isn't really shown on the map) so the southern part of the plot of land is about 10' higher in elevation than the northern part. This means that the river flowing out from the fountain goes into the side of the house at ground level and then exits from the side of the cellar - Celene has seen this when Lavinia gave her a tour of the grounds.

That is the only water on the property - check out the map to get a better idea of how it all fits together.

So tell me, don't you think Diamonback is difficult to spot in this picture or is it just me? She is wearing a black cat-suit with a white skeleton painted on it.

Re: OOC3

Don't have time to post at the moment but if we are going to barge right in and attack can Celene go first so she can get the most out of a burning hands without having allies in the way?

I think I can hit 3,4,5 with one spell from 2:D.

Re: OOC3

Does Celene have an impression that Harliss is able to avoid her spells easily? Thinking of using Burning Hands but she'd be in the blast.

Re: OOC3

A crossbow should be perfectly fine for Urol, he just can't roll well.

And seriously?  Giant warrior chickens?  That's beyond weird.  Well, all things considered, maybe not.  D&D has a lot of weird in it, after all.

Re: OOC3

@Celene, the sorceress is nearly certain that Harliss will make her reflex save - more than that I can't say.

@Logan, yep, the giant chicken warriors (Gyerians) are a hold over from the early days and there definitely was a lot of weird in the game back then.

Re: OOC3

Hey guys, back, alive and kicking... it took me a while to read through all the posts and come to this point.

I truly appreciate our beloved bastard of a DM extra efforts and want to profit to thank him profusely. I am sorry for the extra work dude, all I can say is that it was a wonderful holiday, and profited enormously in the mountains with my kids swimming in rooks and lakes and enjoying the freezing waters and lovely views.

@Alohan: I see you have passed on your "lucky" dice on me while I was not looking. Don't think this will be forgotten. :)
