Hey Beni, welcome back!

Nice to hear you had a good vacation - were these the mountains of Spain? Can't be Tunisia if the waters were freezing.

If you think your DM has been nasty so far, wait to you see what is coming up Benigno :D

Re: OOC3

Yes, in Spain, first we spent 2 weeks in Soria, in this place http://www.casamiradordelrazon.com

and then in the Pyrenees, in this area here http://www.panoramio.com/map/#...amp;tab=1&pl=all

Really a good time.

GM-Urol has precise shot.  He ignores the -4 penalty for a creature being in melee.

Re: OOC3

You have it backwards. He provokes when he LEAVEs the squares we threaten, not enter. So I dont get an AoO on him when he moves into D6 but when he LEAVES to get into E5 he provokes from me.

Same thing from the bullywug. When he leaves B6 to go into A5, he provoked.  As far as I know, they both 'leave' my threatened area at some point, meaning they both provoke (the bully and the chief). And that second attack was on the bullywug so I DO get a hit! (take that evil DM)

Now I confused myself on the third AoO cause I thought he provoked when he ENTERED my square. So We kinda got mixed up in a similar manner.

All in all, I missed enough that it wouldn't matter. I smacked the bullywug tho.

Also the Withdraw action. If the bUllywug 'withdraws' then he does not provoke any AoO when he leaves my threatened area. Same thing with the chief- he wouldnt provoke leaving from Harlis. BUT he would still provoke when leaving my threatened square.

Re: OOC3

Okay, they were both 'withdrawing' and therefore the square that they start out in is not considered threatened. That means that BW1 does not trigger an AoO from Alohan. BW1 does still trigger an AoO from Angati though.

Lorpth does trigger an AoO from our favourite barbarian, but Alohan misses. Lorpth also triggers an AoO from Celene if she has a melee weapon in hand.

BTW, how many AoO can Alohan take in his round? Only one right? Unless he has a feat to increase that number.

You know what, since neither BW1 or Lorpth are likely to be killed by the upcoming AoO, I am opening the next round up. Feel free to act as though the two frogmen are in the spots at the end of the movement paths. Chunkus the rust monster stays where he is. I think the end result of this combat is clear so let's get it over and done with.

Re: OOC3

You're right I didn't get an attack.

We need to invest in a wand of fireball at some point. That would have helped in this type of situation. Thin the herd a bit.

So it would seem we need to not destroy everything.

Hoping to hit 1,2,3 with burning hands.

In reply to Celene (msg # 142):

Celene's position at the front of the initiative queue is reserved.

Well, Lavinia is your patroness so it would be nice to not trash the place too much but on the other hand you've got to do what you've got to do in order to save her.

Um, true. But Urol is hoping to make a favourable impression on Lavinia and therefore somehow gain passage back to the Isle of Dread and his beloved Looco Weed.

Re: OOC3

Speaking of level 12- working on a 5e oneshot if anyone is interested. No assembly required as the PCs/races are completed and predecided and as long as you guys follow the rails it should be a cool little adventure to run.

Probably wont be ready for another month or so but ill be looking for 5 interested peoples. Ill let you know when I am closer to being ready.

That's sounds interesting. I've played a few 5e games here, but all starting at level 1 and I've never seen the mid levels of 5e.

Ugh! What with being snowed under at work and busy painting the house at home I haven't had a chance to update the game. Sorry, business will return to normal shortly.

Glad to hear you are DMing again Ron. :D  I won't be able to join as a player but I will of course be lurking!

Would anyone be interested in taking over a character in a Pathfinder game set in Absalom after its destruction?

I have a Tian sword saint samurai that needs replacing.

Angati is a player in the game as well.

Are you DM'ing in the other game?

@Kassius, I second your vote for A Kingdom of Opportunity Reboot. I've read all of the posts (despite only being a humble lurker) and think it was the best homebrew I've ever seen.
