OOC Chat
Out of Character communications and Chit Chat goes here.

General tactical tabletalk is fine as well, but nothing written here will be interpreted as a decision for your character to act, that needs to go in the main thread.

Good day all, Mountain Druid here and one not quite in tune with Deepdelve despite being a native.

Re: OOC Chat
Ok. So my person is focusing on the singing, with some illusion and healing backup, with skills that tend to be people-oriented. How does that make you guys feel?

Greetings all!  Itinerant gnome gunslinger reporting in.  Having learned some of the secrets of gunsmithing from the dwarven guilds, I'm ready for adventure.

I think that sounds excellent for a bard.  Healing and illusions sound good.  I hope the people skills come in handy in a dungeon-crawl!

Re: OOC Chat
OK, all characters should be added.

I'm starting with 7 active, and I have one more on standby. There's usually some attrition in RPOL (as I'm sure most of you know).

Current race lineup includes 4 dwarves, 1 half-dwarf, 1 gnome, and 1 human.

Current class lineup:
   Paladin
   Fighter
   Wizard
   Druid
   Gunslinger
   Rogue
   Bard

When building chars, remember the following:
- the main combat area in the campaign will be underground.
- One member of the party probably has normal vision, and one low-light, so you probably will need light sources at various times.
- In general, if choosing between combat and non-combat abilities, err on the side of combat. Other sorts of abilities will get their place, of course, but as a true dungeon crawl, a lot of the day to day posting will be taking place in rounds.
- Remember that the healing skill and its Treat Deadly wounds ability are advantaged under the home rules I'm using. This might be especially important since you don't have a cleric.

I'll be reviewing character sheets as they come in, and I'll add any additional comments as needed.

Greetings friends and family! I'll be playing both the Paladin and the half-breed. I look forward to saving everyone with your help.

Re: OOC Chat
Meh, I don't like how they nerfed the Giant Weasel companion from how it was in the first Reign of Winter book to how it is in Bestiary 4. It was kick ass and now it's useless. My search continues. Just need to find something that's useful, fits a Dwarf and functions underground.

Badger is my favorite. There's also the Giant Centipede, Giant Slug, or Dire Rat.

Re: OOC Chat
Doesn't exist in PF and not that fitting for someone who doesn't actually live underground. Besides that, I want something that's actually useful and not just cannon fodder.

I was considering just buying a couple of ridding dogs and taking an animal handling skill. What do you guys think about that?

Be sure you train them. They're a lot to handle if you're not prepared. Are you ready for that sort of responsibility?

Re: OOC Chat
The thing with riding dogs is though, Dwarves can't ride them. Riding dogs are medium sized creatures and as Dwarves are also medium sized they can't ride the riding dogs.
