Most excellent.  I shall update much later tonight, when I am more alert and able to post something coherent.  :)

Re: OOC chat
Hi, I was doing some writing on this campaign, considering possibilities, and I wanted to check up with you both. I haven't seen Siai post for the last days, and I wondered if, perhaps, I cut things too drastically to a new topic after Siai's description of the new land. The situation did allow (and in fact I was kinda expecting) a different response after the dodecahedron was disabled. I kinda took the reins after Fin posted. If you were expecting more time to fully explain Siai's mind, and I cut through that, I apologize.

So, a couple of questions:
- Are you both happy with this first bit of the adventure?
- Are you both free to post at least once a day, or do you need more time? I should still be able to post once a day.
- In light of the first paragraph, do you want me to rewind the action now to the Valley thread?

Re: OOC chat
I'm happy with the adventure thus far. I especially like your introductory posts for each 'chapter'. Very evocative. :)

I'm good with the current transition out of the valley. I've just had a very bad cold this week that's made it harder to think about writing than usual. I've also got a fairly busy summer coming up. Preparations to make. People to see off. I was okay with the previous posting rate, which was what you might call semi-daily.

I'll try and get something up tonight.

Re: OOC chat
Thanks! I totally understand, my wife has just come off a bad cold herself, and I've had some days of downtime myself. I hope you get better soon, and await your posts!

Re: OOC chat
I am also happy with the adventure thus far.  :)  I figure, when it doubt, move it along.

I should also be able to post semi-daily.  We're trying to sell our house/move, so things are a little hectic, so if I don't post for a day or two, I didn't forget you or am bored, I'm probably just trying to catch up on RL necessities.  :)

Sorry, I am working this weekend, and I am just rolling back home and face-planting into bed (super-stressful this week).  I shall post on Monday afternoon, and apologies for my tardiness!

One quick heads up: I lost internet access at home, and it might or might not be up by saturday afternoon (GMT-4). Please bear with me. I can still see your posts and post at work, during pauses.

My turn to be sorry. This month's been both very long and yet way too short, if you follow me.

I am totally activating the drill.  Taking the damage and all to me.  Fin is feeling emotions and is not thinking very clearly today.

Re: OOC chat
No problem. Please narrate the action. If I recall, the drill is L8, so it's 8 points to the priest, 4 for you (not counting armor. If you have it, you can subtract.)

Sorry for the long absence. I've been hoping things would quiet down as I wrapped things up at my previous job, but that hasn't been the case. I'll try and get back to posting as soon as I can. Sorry!

The compassionate part of me is like, "Can we save the crazed cultists?"

The traumatized part of Final Command is like, "They are under poor programming.  Perhaps they can be repurposed."

The practical part of Final Command is like, "These people have faulty programming, I don't program organics, seriously do not have time for this nonsense, let's boogie."

The rest of me is going - This is a seriously cool (and gruesome. gruesomely cool).

Re: OOC chat
Something big is hidden in the village?  Fin in tempted to jack in, Shadowrunner style, but I fear her mind would melt.

I'll try to do an IC-post tomorrow - These last five days were terrible.  When we weren't having house showings (and thus I was sleeping elsewhere due to my night-shift schedule) we had workmen in the kitchen, updating things for picky potential buyers.  *throws up hands*  It's a post WWII one-story slab house, wadda ya think it's gonna be made of, solid gold?!

I swear, some people take their HGTV watching way too much to heart...

OOF. You had warned us about the house sale. I haven't had that "pleasure" yet, but the wife is starting to insist on leaving the apartment for a house...

Re: OOC chat
Well, at least if you're leaving an apartment, you don't have to worry about selling your house before you buy one.  Buying the house I am living in now (as a first-time homeowner) was a breeze in comparison to what I'm doing at present!

That cage is well and truly open. And the second roll? Or should the big feline have Fin as a snack before fleeing the flames?

Re: OOC chat
Perhaps for the excellent flair of opening the cage, Fin opened it in a manner to put the door between it and the cat?  :D
