Expedition Rules: READ THIS FIRST

Like the pitch, this game is an expedition into the unknown with strangers. I've been in games that have crashed and burned because people would not cooperate, and I'm hoping to avoid that fate with this one. Here are some simple rules for our group that will hopefully keep this game alive and help us all have a good time! ^_^

1) Be a team player:  Being a team player means having fun by getting along with your fellow players, and keeping things in perspective. One of the reasons this game has the mature tag is because I'm looking for mature players. Keep in-character conflict in-game. Out-of-character fighting will not be tolerated.

2) I make the final call: In the unlikely event of a conflict of any type, my decision is final. I will try my best to keep an open mind, but judgment calls are mine to make. Just so I know that you read these rules, please write "I, [your name here], agree that your decision is final" in your RTJ. That way, I get it in writing. (Note: Being a wiseapple about this is one of the quickest ways to get your application sent to the bottom of the stack)

3) Posting Rate: In my experience, pbp games are more successful if you treat them like marathon rather than a sprint. I'm looking for a minimum posting rate of three times a week. More is better (like once or twice a day, and especially in combat), but not necessary. RL happens to all of us, and I'll give you a heads up if it looks like it will slow me down. All I ask is for the same courtesy.

4) Have fun: I think I said this already, but it's so important I'll say it twice. Have fun! If you are having fun, then I am having fun, we might just live through this!
