Re: Out of Character Discussion
As this was not a pm to me, i had assumed (perhaps I am wrong) we ALL have such a pendent...

"Without a chance to respond, Akatosh evaporates into a thick mist which surrounds you completely and fills your lungs, nearly suffocating you. Suddenly, the air around you is filled with an indescribably horrifying stench of rot and decay. As the  mist clears, you find yourself lying atop a small pile of corpses, flies buzzing all around and maggots squirming against your skin. You're inside a large stone room, presumably a "dumping ground", where the bodies of the unwanted are tossed before burning. All you have on you, is a set of filthy rags and around your neck, a strange metal pendant you've never seen before. It is oval, black and completely smooth, with a small red gem in its center."

I mean, if it is only me, cool.  But I don't believe that was the intention... and I want to make sure before making my post.  Vassaad probably wasn't paying attention, but everyone should have seen the amulet at least once, since I took it out after killing poor Borog, back in the begining of our adventure.

EDIT: Just looked it up... and I know Vassaad has one of the pieces.  Message 81 of our original thread:

As soon as Vassaad lays his hands on the Redguard woman, a stream of wispy light bursts out of her eyes, nose, ears and mouth. It hovers as a cloud above the body for a second, before shooting into Vassaad's and Nasrudin's amulets, dissipating.

If that is the case, then I can let it go.. just making sure that is the case and not of 'forgotten' details lost to time... (like one of the things I wanted to do, but forgot to back in Rihad)

Re: Out of Character Discussion
Well Im playing the age card... But then again, Khajiits only live less then 100 years, and Im half way though it...

Though for you Elves, isn't less then 200 to be considered adolescence among the Altmer.... I mean I read a book from Morrowind that said a Dunmer Queen lived for a 1000 years. That and Divayth Fyr >.>

Barenzi or something, ya.... Think the average age is about 800 or so... but we have had people live longer.  But ya, Dunmer Queen lived from the Formation of the Empire, all the way to the Oblivion Crisis I do believe.. The book sorta stops at the Arena with Jager Tharn, but ya know.

Vassaad, you wouldn't really know about Ancano and especially not about the Gray Cowl. Even Misha wouldn't know about it.

Right a educated mage doesn't know shit about arcane artifacts, and I can't mention someone that I already mentioned.

Fine edited, but don't bother Nasrudin, just get us to the Garden.

Re: Out of Character Discussion
Just going by what is being said... probably know OF Ancano..

this is why it would have been good to know what the DB had, and had not accomplished, so rumors and other things would make sense, considering the fact, I was in Skyrim at the time of the Dragonborn, and your from Skyrim shortly after those events.

But, it seemed like little importance, so I never really pushed the issue.

No me and Et'Ada had a civil discussion, and I do not know the name of the Thalmor that killed Savos Aren.

Which just ruined the joke, and now I just want to get on with the next quest, since our banter was interrupted.

Edit:

Well I orphaned at the College one or two years after the Dragonborn's visit anyways. I lived in the College till the Nords kicked us non-nords out. And im still a Stormclock. But appreently Ancano became Voldemort

Re: Out of Character Discussion
Well, if the Eye of Magnus thing happened, and the Psyjik order took it, they would probably WANT that to be not discussed.  But again, what do I know. I wanted to know if Blackreach had been opened, and I was told no, so the Dwemer capitol is still hidden away.  Wouldn't mind going on that Atherium quest :P  But I doubt that happened... (though, talk about some serious Dwemer knowledge), and that Runed Lexicon quest would have been something my character would have done given the chance.  Again, doubt it happened though.

Re: Out of Character Discussion
As I told Vassaad, I have my reasons.

And for you Nasrudin, to put it bluntly, your character had nothing to do with any quest-line that appears in Skyrim, exceptions can be made if appropriate, but mostly you were up north doing your own thing, which doesn't mean you didn't have your own share of adventures. Just don't think you were a big, famous/influential hero in Skyrim, or something.

Aside from not canonizing the Dragonborn's identity, the reason I left their activities to obscurity, is because most of the things the DB did, wouldn't really have had an impact outside of Skyrim. Even the Dragon Crisis, at least in Champions, was a pretty Skyrim-specific situation and didn't really spread outside Skyrim, until after Alduin was killed and the surviving dragons scattered across Tamriel. The last 'posting guideline' kind of applies here as well, you really shouldn't assume to have been involved in or have intimate knowledge of, any specific quest that happened in Skyrim or before, without confirming with me first (like Nasrudin has been doing). If something comes to your mind at some point, shoot me a private line or PM, so as to avoid future confusion.

Re: Out of Character Discussion
Of course not.  But for rumors or other such things, might come up (Such as a powerful artifact being found in some forgotten ruin, or people riding dragons in Solesteim, if that happened at all.)  The war was canonized, and it seems the DB didn't play a role at all in it.

Most side quests though, i wouldn't consider major.  So they might have gone unoticed by the DB.  However, other then some of the Dwemer specific sidequests, and the major Dawnguard one involving the temple.(which you never said happened or didn't), I just assume In was exploring, reading in a library, and more or less trying not to get lynched by Stormcloaks.

I do apologize for the silence again, my head simply wasn't anywhere near a 'fantasy' setting and while usually I can just crank up my fantasy-playlist on spotify, this week that just wasn't possible and not for a lack of trying.

Nasrudin; 'Ring', as in it sounds similar to Ta'agra, which is the Khajiit language. I should have made that clearer, sorry.
