Re: Out of Character Discussion
Well, technically, that's what makes it God-Modding. Vassaad just grabbed everything from Misha and stuffed them into his pockets, with no regard to what Misha was going to do with the items. Also, even though Misha didn't specify what she did with the stuff, from a purely gameplay standpoint; Misha grabbed everything out of the chest and so they were in her "inventory" and characters cannot access another's inventory, without permission from said other char's player or myself, except when the character might be unconscious or dead (but even then, the "never assume success" -rule applies).
However in this situation, it's not that big of a deal (so do not edit your posts). Misha has the right to refuse giving the items to Vassaad in her next post, but given the circumstances, I don't see any harm in the potions being used to heal Vassaad and Nasrudin, and the book and letter are available for everyone to read anyway - But I'll leave that up to you Misha, essentially Vassaad's post froze in time the moment he tried grabbing the items from you.
In the future though, if Player A finds say, weapons or spells in a container, it is up to Player A to distribute them however they wish. No other player should just assume to grab them from Player A, unless A specified they just left the items lying around. And, to avoid future misunderstandings, whenever someone finds something somewhere, they should clearly state what they do with the item(s); Do they pocket them, hide them or offer them to others, etc..
