Re: OOC - Game Discussion
Might be delayed today.

Husband took five across the face from our formerly feral cat and might need stitches.

Update - No stitches thankfully... Poor guy looks like he went toe to toe with a tiger from the size of the bandage I put on him to keep him from subconsciously picking at it.

Hopefully next time he'll remember not to try to grab an angry cat that doesn't want to be forcibly moved...

I was curious about the quiet till I realized when I looked in my post hadn't posted.  Re-writing it now.  Hope you had a good Labor Day weekend otherwise.

Tell me about it. I got invaded by the in laws.

Both my and my furry babies are barely able to keep our eyes closed we're so tired from the stress. At least they won't come to visit for at least 6 months...

Not sure if I did that post justice like I thought I did the first time round...*sighs* the foils of incomplete and unposted posting.

Well to be fair I got busy this weekend and just didn't have a good chance to post.  That being said I'll update you guys within an hour here.

Oh no I wasn't poking you as if for you not posting Keroman.  I was reflecting that nothing was posted because I screwed up...not because you were busy with this holiday weekend.

I didn't mean to imply that you were.  I was just saying that it didn't really matter that your post didn't go through seeing as how I wouldn't have had a chance to respond to it anyways.

Sorry for my short quiet.  Hurricane Irma decided it wanted to squash my neck of the woods and I'm back in action again.

Glad to hear you're safe and sound.  I'll work on getting your thread updated tonight as I'm on my tablet for the moment.

I'll be posting today as well...

Got a bit distracted playing worried mother hen to all my friends and family in Florida. Thankfully even if there was property damage everyone seems to be ok.

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
I think both of your private threads are just about wrapped up.  Ihvon we can just skip past your visit with the Sheriff.  Just let me know what info you'd like to relay to him and we'll just say you swung by and had a chat with him before meeting Aasa outside the Sheriff's office.  Then we can move on to the meeting with the Shaman.  Sound good?

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
Sounds good.

He'd relay all the weakness information he got from Chelermas so that the posse could wrangle up what they could before heading out (if they so desired and believed in it, never know if they will scoff at it anyhow).

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
If you guys want you can start posting in the main thread again so you can catch each other up on what you each learned.  I'll give you 48 hours to make any final posts in your private threads, otherwise I'll assume you're done with your respective conversations.

I'll be posting first thing in the morning.  Computer parts showed and getting the new Lazarus up and running took longer than expected...but it works...I think, lol.

Were you guys going to discuss what happened in your private threads or did you want me to just move you along to the Shaman's place?

I'll give him a rundown tomorrow.

Got distracted mid writing and it seems my post didn't take. *sighs* Guess it's what I get for trying to post while dealing with a stressed out husband.

So I think it's probably best if I just put this game on hold again.

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
I can understand that and might be for the best.  I know that I post slower than before since my RL work situation with my wife is...taxing...and the few games that I play in have thankfully slowed as well.  I also know I hadn't posted since the question was directly for Aasa but in general it's in one of those situations where it's not dead but more a hibernation slow heartbeat that could easily be maddening.

Dunno if it's a byproduct of there only being two players and more 'juice' is needed for banter to go back and forth to keep spurring things to faster posting in the realm of more players.  Seems though that at least most of us players...myself and aasa here and celeste and phyl in the other are all moving like turtles.

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
I don't want you or Sizara to think that I blame you for anything.  I don't want to run this game without you two, specifically, as my players.  The other game, as well - you'd all gotten so far along that it would be difficult for me to start things over with a new group.

I am planning on starting up something new-ish soon.  A Starfinder game with a Space Station 13 theme.  If there's enough interest then I'll run that with a whole new group of players.

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
I'm sorry for it being a little slow recently, I was doing ok with about every other day then hell broke loose at  work with the cut being this week. If I didn't buckle down a bit I may have been in serious trouble had my project not been finished on time.

I still feel bad for being slow regardless... I've been pulled too muany directions and still want to apologize.

Starfinder? I don't think I've heard of that before if you don't mind elaborating.

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
Starfinder is basically "Pathfinder in Space!" and was just released, like, last month I think.  It's by Paizo, just like Pathfinder, but it focuses on futuristic games, with a tendency towards space travel.  There's new races and classes, and there's rules for technology but there's also still magic.

Check out starfindersrd.com for the core rules.
