Re: OOC - Game Discussion
Starting wealth at 5th level is 10,500 gp but I'm gonna say you can't spend more than half of it on any single item.  As usual assume any equipment that costs 10gp or less is free but, again, be reasonable about it and don't choose to start with 5,000 candles or something silly. :P

Unfortunately I didn't save any information about Ihvon so you'll have to redo him.

Sizara you got a character name in mind?

No problem.  Key bits and pieces are easy and the rest can fit in as we go.

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
Little to none, really, they're just trying to eke out a living like many of the other Far Kingdom races.  Since they don't really have any territory in the inner parts of the kingdom they stick to the fringes where such disputes are far less common.  Beyond that they're nomads, traders, perhaps occasionally assassins or interrogators or any other dubious trade where they can put their natural poisoning skills to work.

Hmm... how about Aasa... Aasa Torvali. Not sure if they still have the slight Indian flair here as well.

I'd say, going with the serpent theme, they'd probably follow a more Aztecan aesthetic, although that would be the traditionalists among them.

There we go, got your guys' names changed and, as you may notice, changed the name of the game as well. :P

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
Alright, what time of year would you guys like to start the game in?  We could keep rolling with late summer like the other game or we could start in whatever season you guys want.

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
I'm game for any season, though with it being a desert it'll likely be quite dry most of the time regardless of the time of year and potentially not have much in the way of major weather changes no matter what season it is ;)

Or will it?

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
Well it'll be more of an arid desert rather than straight-up sand as far as the eye can see.  There's rain and lightning at times, and in the winter the occasional light snowfall.  Potentially dust storms and tornadoes if the weather conditions are right.  I'm not big on worrying about in-game weather unless the party decides to test out their survival skills in the wilderness.

Which as a Druid I should do just fine with :D

So almost like a Mongolian Desert rather than the Sahara.

Well more like the southwestern US, but yes I believe the two are fairly similar. :P

*chuckles*

Sorry been watching a number of Ghengis Khan movies/historical documentaries lately so that was the first thing that came to mind.

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
The current name of the game is only temporary until I can come up with something better.  I'm certainly open to suggestions.

I've also been cooking up ideas for the town you guys will be starting in.  I'll post what I've got so far sometime tomorrow (Thursday) so I can get your feedback.

Sounds good! Got most of the sheet except for traits done, doing items...

Move action reload for long rifle still?

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
There isn't a specific armour enhancement for what I'd like to do so I was wondering if you would allow a custom one.  Normally when I shift into my wolf form the armour gets subsumed.  I was wondering if I could enchant it to change shape and cover my new form like barding.

Thoughts?

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
I think there is one for that in 3.5... maybe mod it to fit for PF?

Oh! And crafted items... what's your ruling on them here? 1, 2? As many as we want? :)

Re: OOC - Game Discussion
Yeah...Wild.

It's a +3 enchantment (so we're too low level for it to work as something I do by myself since it would be +1 magical and +3 more for Wild needing a 12th level caster) and the armour is subsumed into the body during the polymorph and you retain the bonuses.

If that's the only way I'll need to come up with something different.
