Day One: Training
So you have finally made it. Your modular training and everything has paid off and this is your first step into joining the elite of the rebellion. You walk into a small room with a few chairs and a desk.

Karim walks into the briefing room, he can't help but run his fingers over the new patch on his uniform. It's finally here, I'm now Flight Officer Erith.

Seeming to have beaten the others to the meeting he grabs a seat and pulls up a dejaric game on his datapad.

Arak checked the number on the room before walking inside.  Seeing 2 others already inside, he checked them out quickly then walked past them and took a seat at the back of the room.

He pulled out a small datapad and glanced down at it once he was settled.

Re: Day One: Training
"Gearbox", as he had become known in the short time he'd been a part of the Rebellion, walked into the breifing room and would be instantly recognizable as a Gank cyborg by the markings on his armor, though what lied beneath the fully enclosed suit was anyone's guess. Though this Gank's outfit seemed more designed for practical use in a starfighter than the normal intimidating visage the Hutt servants usually wore. The mirrored faceplate allowed for more field of view, and the black jacket was designed for ease of movement over strict armor plating.

He nodded to everyone with a "Gentlemen." that seemed to whisper through the mask before he took a seat.

T'Tooki scampered into the room, seeing half the squadron was already here, he dragged a chair over near the group, its legs scraping across the floor the whole way. "Hey, at least I'm not the last one here. How are all you doin' today?" he asks as he struggles to climb up onto the chair.

Now that a few others had arrived Karim put his datapad away. "Doing well, looking forward to getting out there. I'm Flight Officer Erith, Systems and Weapons Officer."

The Caamasi, Iru'ilt, walks through the door, hands folded in front of him, brows furrowed in consternation that is apparently typical of him. He looks straight in front of him, taking in his surroundings, his fellow recruits, even while his thoughts are elsewhere. He returns a few glances with a small bow of greeting.

He quickly takes a seat, and steeples his fingers in front of him, waiting for the briefing to begin with a certain muted impatience.

Doru walked into the briefing room with a sheepish look on his snout. Getting lost at the base was not how he wanted to start his first day as a pilot. Fortunately, the protocol droid who helped him seemed polite enough---far more than the Ugnaught who had just ignored him.

Looks like things haven't started yet, he thought to himself.

Doru took one of the free seats, nodding to the other people already in the room.

"Hi," he said, his Basic accented with Rodian treble, "name's Doru. Anyone else excited to be here?"

"Excited?" Gearbox asked with a huff. "The Imperial Navy's got some of the most state of the art equipment in the Galaxy. I'm just here to make sure their nose bleeds before I get snuffed with the rest of you." he added.

Re: Day One: Training
Doru shrugged, unfazed by the cyborg's attitude.

"Well, I'm not planning on dying anytime soon. I've heard rumors about Incom's X-Wings, and I like my chances in a ship like that."
