PLAN FOR EPISODE 3
Okay!  I think I'm getting a handle on the home front.  I'm planning to return to rPol after the Fourth of July holiday.

The plan is that we can all return in full force on Tuesday, July 5, and proceed with the game from there.  If you have any OOC concerns or need a refresher on things, I'll be available off and on between now and then to answer questions and figure things out.

Looking forward to gaming with all of you again!  I've missed this.  :)

PLAN FOR EPISODE 3
I'm looking things over, and was wondering how the players felt about a minor change.  What if we set it up so that Nighthill's guards are waiting at the ambush site, and all the players/adventurers are returning to the raiders' camp together?  It would take a small bit of retconning, but I think it would offer the best story to all the players.

What are your thoughts?

PLAN FOR EPISODE 3
Beginning work on IC posts now.

I love all the clever planning that went into the ambush too much, so we'll leave that as it is, and just have the ambushers rush to the raider's camp after their scene is over.  There may be some creative timing adjustments to be made when the groups come together again, but I think keeping players involved in the story trumps timing logistics.

PLAN FOR EPISODE 3
Glad to have everybody back.  I'm still waiting to hear from Rugadh's player.  If she doesn't rejoin us by Tuesday, I'll start posting for her character.  For those who are sharing a thread with her, thank you for your patience.  She's been such an active and involved player up till now, that I don't think she'd just drop unless something was happening in RL to keep her away.

PLAN FOR EPISODE 3
You beloved elven bard is back! :-)

(As this is currently my only game on RPoL, I haven't checked this site very often since this game was put on hold so I missed the restart.)

Thank you very much for your patience; I am going to post IC very soon.

Yea!  Everyone is back...Except Uthgar.  We'll see if he returns or not.  I'll NPC him until he gets back or the ambush is done.

The End.  [Mournful music]
Things just never really settle down, do they?

Now that we have our new home and the kids are going to be attending all-day school, we've decided it's time for me to get a full-time job, as well.  I finally get to use that four-years of education I paid for!  It's exciting and scary and all that, but mostly it means I won't have time to participate in rPol games.  I'm saying good-bye to all my on-line games.

Except, possibly, this one.  We've each invested more than a year in this game, and I love the direction it's going.  Unfortunately, I can no longer commit to my original goal of posting 3+ times a week (not that I was ever super-dependable for that posting rate, anyway).

So, I'd like input from all of you.  I can think of two options at this point.

1) We keep going together, but with a slower posting rate.  (I can only commit to posting once every week or two.)

2) I can transfer ownership of this game to one of you to finish it out.

If neither of those holds any appeal for the majority of the group (or if another, better option can't be found), then we'll say good-bye, I'll close up the game, and wish everyone good luck in their next game or pursuit.

Let me know what you guys would like to do.

Honestly I am enjoying this game. We are already posting at a slower rate than planned. As long as the others are up for it I say let's keep going and just post when able

The show must go on!
Most Excellent!  You guys are great!

I'm getting ready for our final vacation (GenCon with no kids.  Yea!) but I'll try to get another good IC post in before I leave on Wednesday.  When I get back, I'll resume game at what's now become our normal, slower pace.  Thanks so much for being willing to stick it, guys!

Goodbye
Well, guys, I had the best of intentions, but the new job, home, and school year fill up my days.  It was great running the game for you, but I'm going to have to close up shop.  If I ever make my way back to rPol, I'll look you all up again.

Best of luck to everybody and and happy gaming!

Farewell.

Future of this game
DM, thanks for your notice - although it is a sad one for this game and its players.

Nevertheless, I wish you all the best for your future endeavours!

To all who are have been enjoying this game so far and don't want to see their characters vanish into oblivion:

Would someone of you be able to take up this game or do you know someone else who may be willing or do you have another idea how we could make this world live on?

Future of this game
I'm happy to hand this game off to someone else, so I'll keep checking in through September, and transfer ownership/GM status if you find someone who's willing to take it on.
