Depends on how much homework or how little Overwatch was played? I'm a casual pubg player myself. ^_^

Ohh, PUBG looks dope as hell, but I kind of want to form a squad with my brothers and stream our games and also I don't have a job.

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

Happy week after Halloween, everyone. I'm not too current on video games; I've been playing a little Dishonored 2 and Evil Genius lately. I'd love to see some art of the Deep One, if and when you'd like to show it off.

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

I've been doing retro, finished Neverwinter Nights and got halfway through Shadows of Undrentide. Plus a bud hooked me up with the new Red Dwarf episodes, that took some time.

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

When I'm not playing other games lately I've been playing kerbal space program. It's the first game that made me want to learn a whole science branch so I can play better.   ^_^"

I would live to see some Deep One art too! I'm a fool for Lovecraftian stuff!

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

I feel like it goes without saying, but The Gift of Power could be a great T.V. show. The only question is... Live-action, or Animated?

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

It seems too cheap to make it an animated show, in my opinion. I think it could be pulled off kinda like the Flash tv show. They do nice work I on that one.

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

I mean we have some sickos on here. Animated, we'd have to be Adult Swim material at the least.

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

There are a lot of characters as well, and might be a bit confusing to turn into any kind of TV Show. Unless each 'series' focused only on a single set of characters, with minor drop-ins from others.

More confusing than Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead? I don't know...

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

I think it would play like an episode of Buffy, where Kane is the dramatic male lead and messes some one up every week then it's up to the rest of us to teach him the error of his ways. Also, although the conclusion would be a satisfying battle against mostly inconsequential baddies, we wouldn't really be sure if any one learned anything useful. ^_^

Either that or like Hannibal...

Is Jet still with us? I'm wondering if we're going to jump into a fight in Seattle. Who's Jet's player?

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

It really doesn't matter. Just consider the recent 'handling' of source material by either a network or a movie studio; once either entity got hold of these stories the final product would have only a passing resemblance to anything here.

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

I agree Obdurate, by the way,  are you looking to tangle with other PCs by chance?

I think Jet's player is the Commander, so unsure of his current status right now.

I've been lazing along, trying to build something meaningful around the midwest portion of the big muddy. Entanglements, like other quantum phenomena, are mostly out of my control.

Gotcha, well as they sometimes say, "ask and ye shall receive."

At any rate, I'll be getting a post into Toronto pretty soon, sorry for the holdup on my end.

Merry Christmas, folks! This year, I'm giving you all the gift of my absence! I'll be chilling overseas for the break!

In-character, that's not the least bit true, on account of it isn't wintertime, and out of character I'm still stuck in miserable little Bumfruck, Quebec*

*Not my actual location, or an actual location for that matter.

Re: Perplexing Palanese Ponderings

I guess I'm not doing anything right now. I have no idea what happened to the guy I was posting with in Chicago, but it's been a while, so I'm going to assume that's done.
