With Gaultown's fall, the stalemate between the Namidian Wave and the ITSDA has been broken. But perhaps not in the way you might think. It has been two months since that great battle. And though the Namidians Dieter Sievold, Spurt, Destroyer, and Mister Green (along with wildcard murderer Kane Isiah Armani) are all imprisoned in the ITSDA's remote Maine compound, all is not well for the ITSDA. Due to The Commander's machinations, the public now knows just how close the ITSDA let Toledo come to being annihilated thanks to their recklessness. When coupled with the organization's apparent murder of Brazil's notoriously Anti-ITSDA President, much of the Western hemisphere is calling for the group's heads!

In response to the public outcry, the UN has called the ITSDA leadership to The Hague. In turn, the leaders and backers of the ITSDA have passed the buck. Frank Jackson and the surviving members of his makeshift team (Jill Irvine, Vandal, Knight, Whisper, Glitch, Black Magic, Meta, Jump, Brianna) will now be made to answer for their "reckless disregard for the sanctity of human life" and "treasonous betrayal of the duties assigned to them by the United Nations Security Council." And though the Tribunal has attempted to keep Jackson's team imprisoned while the trial is ongoing, the ITSDA has struck up a bargain with them. Since there is a war on and the team's special abilities may be essential to the ITSDA's combat effort, the men and women of Jackson's team can continue their fight against the Namidian Wave during the trial... so long as they remain under the strict surveillance and supervision of the UN's own "Planetary Guard" unit.

But being put to the axe for "crimes against humanity" is not the only threat our heroes face. All throughout the world, the Namidian Wave is putting pressure on the already strained ITSDA. Additionally, The Commander's forces are regrouping and Dieter's SA is concocting battle plans based on the combat data he retrieved from the Gaultown skirmish.

Lastly, Brian Jameson, a non-ITSDA agent present at the Battle of Gaultown, has begun to secretly construct an organization he feels will prove superior to the ITSDA. He hopes that this third faction will truly help humankind construct a future for themselves in a way that the bureaucratically-inclined, highly-regimented, and deeply flawed ITSDA cannot.

The consequences of The Gifted's actions have forever warped this world. So what, I ask you, will you do with The Gift of Power now?
