Re: OOC>

Aw, I remember the Y!group Buckley Village- like 13 years ago. Then Y!groups started eating messages and spitting them back out a week later so we came to Rpol. Was it Play By Web? I remember we tried some other RPing site for a while. Then we tried some online message board until that site crashed and we lost a lot of messages forever. Then think it was the Y!group again, then back to Rpol... Then started the second generation of BV. Then GM killer decided to kill everyone...

My first RPG was on The Pet Vine, a spinoff from Ancient Sites, both of which are long gone. Then Y!clubs (which merged with Y!clubs), Egroups until they became Y!groups. Then Rpol.net, some other role playing site similar to rpol.net but wasn't able to organize as well... Some random message boards including a Redwall RPG I really should get back to, there were some good writers there...

But this is my only game right now.

But I wasn't the one who completely dropped and ignored the Ygroups one with the Buckley kids as kids.

I think it was play by web but I think we left there because they didn't keep anything more than 2 weeks I think, so we couldn't go back and reference anything.

My very first game on Ygroups was a Lord of the Rings game. That was Aalyssa's second outing. Everyone else was kids playing kids so all the adult players/characters kind of migrated. I enjoyed it though and managed to fit in...of course, I had Aalyssa's kids too in the game.

Sounds like Ancients Sites and the spin off sites... They were before their time in some ways, everyone got their own house to decorate, people could leave messages at your 'house', you could send private messages and instant private messages, you could also send one global message a day (There was rarely more than 20 people on at a time) there were public message boards and groups... It's been gone almost 15 years and I still miss it.

If you're aiming for safety, probably the keep since there are knights about. Otherwise, helping to end the raiders. I think it's pretty much going to take magic.

Also, once back, Sileas is going to be dabbling with magic (very much unexpected to her and very amateur).

Alright, thanks.

Sorry to be a bother, but I guess this is the problem with playing an antisocial loner in a freeform game without defined goals- you wind up being kind of, well, antisocial and alone.

Yeah, I get that problem a lot. And I have one character who isn't exactly anti-social but just doesn't fit anywhere.

After much deliberation over the past few months, a few things I will not explain or get into and the fact that I have found things I enjoy far more than this, I am retiring from role playing. I've enjoyed getting to know every one, just consider the Spensers as having left for Farthington.

Thank you! Right now he and his partner Sir Gareth are wanting to get married, which is why the came to the village since Brans father tried to force him into a marriage with a lady. He is willing to fight for the village and the Buckley keep if they can somehow live together somewhat openly or get married.

To give you an idea of what the barrier is cutting off, here's a map of the Main Hall:
Link back to this game

The barrier is mostly outside the Hall and is in straight lines, but got messed up on the east wall (top of map) so it dips and curves and has cut off most of the staircase to the kitchen, and has taken out a chunk of the dais behind the high table.

Bai isn't happy.

Things haven't changed much for me, I can't drive because of health issues so I was already staying home most of the time. I have a glamorous job of cleaning once a week and am still needed because people are afraid of germs.
My sister is a phlebotomist and I have been worried about her and her kids. The hospital she works at has had her reusing masks and it's frustrating that something as simple as a supply shortage puts her and her kids at risk.
