Not far from the docks. Where the richest and most important people go when they are sick or injured.

Juniper stumbled into the office, trailing blood and sweat, with her arm over the shoulder of her friend.

"Hello?"

A wizened old men looked up in surprise.

"She's been stabbed." Wulfsen said.

"Get her on the bed." The physician said.

Wulfsen helped Juniper to the bed. "Do whatever you need to, I'll cover this." Wulfsen reached into his pocket, but his coins were gone! Every last copper!

The physician did not seem to notice, he was already busy examining the wound. "I'll use my best leeches." He muttered.

Juniper grimaced at the tought of leeches and coughed as she spoke once again.

_{"Id love... a drink. Rum...would be nice."}

"The best for a companion of Lord Thornblade." The old man went over to a cabinet, took out a bottle and filled a glass with an gold liquid, handed Juniper the glass and set the bottle down next to the bed. He rummaged through another cabinet and took out a large jar full of many squirming things.

"Royal leeches! Just like the King uses." The physician picked up a pair of tongs and shuffled over the the bed, clacking the tongs.

_{"Lets be quick about this. Im a busy gal"}

Juniper set the glas she was handed down and instead took the bottle in her hand, downing mosty of it on one gulp. Few thing made the giant woman cringe but leeches was one of them.

The physician picked up a couple leeches at a time and flung that at Juniper. One or two landed on or near her wound, but more landed elsewhere, three on her face, one on her arm, most bounced off her clothes and fell on the floor.

The physician did not seem at all worried that the royal leeches were all over the place. He shuffled to his cupboards and pulled out another bottle. It seemed to glow blue and bubble. He shuffled back over to the elf.

"This is going to feel really good... Oh wait, you're too old to lie to. Lying is for children." He muttered. "This is going to hurt like boiling lemon juice from hell. Try not to get it in your eyes, might want to close them. Cheers."

He uncorked the bottle and poured the elixir over the wound.

The liquid filled bottle was flung across the room hard enough to shatter on the wall. The elixir caused Juniper to writhe in pain and scream, her body tensing up and shuddering as the pain slowly began to pass. She was curled up on her side and breathing deeply once the pain subsided.

"That should do the trick." The physician said, then added in a hushed voice, "That elixir is made from unicorn hair, gold unicorn I think. Only thing better than unicorn hair is unicorn horn... But that's damn near impossible to get."

"Alicorns are illegal." Wulfsen broke in, getting over his shock, flicking a flung leech from his neck.

"That too." The physician tapped the side of his nose. He turned back to Juniper. "You should be right as rain, though it has an odd effect of turning urine blue. I don't know why."

Juniper slowly sat up and raised her arm up, giving it a few swings to test it out. She felt sore as hell but she wouldn't be dead anytime soon.

"lets get out of here Thornblade. The keep awaits us."

Juniper stood and made her way to the exit.

Wulfsen dug into his pockets but still came up empty.

"Send me a bill, I'll be sure to pay it as soon as possible." Wulfsen said and hurried after Juniper.

Juniper boarded the wagon, giving the horse a whip once her companion was aboard. She said nothing as they made their way back to the group.

The physician nodded and got a broom. He muttered to himself as he began sweeping up broken glass. "Now a noble lady would never break a bottle..."
