"So," Sileas asked the two men. "What's first?"

"I was planning on having you practice detection spells today, but if you would rather try a snogging potion you're married and I won't stand in your way." Bai said, touching the cover of the thicker book.

Wulfsen's face was red. "I'm going to check the battlements."

"All right." It was all Sileas could do to keep from following him. "I'll see you at lunch then."

"I'll see you after your magic studies." Wulfsen said, and decided Bai's comments be damned. He wrapped his arms around Sileas and gave her a deep good bye kiss to rival the kiss at their wedding.

Sileas made a small squeak of surprise even as her arms wrapped around him.

Wulfsen lifted her off the ground for a moment, then set her down. He gave her a peck on the cheek as if he had not just been passionately kissing her.
"See you later." He said, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Sileas slid her one hand down to pat his butt. "I'll be counting the minutes."

Wulfsen grinned and left.

Bair raised an eyebrow but did not comment. He turned to a page in the thin book. "You read this already, correct?"

"Yes, though I should probably read it again. My mind was going in many directions with planning the wedding."

Bai set the open book on the table and nudged it towards Sileas. "It is a fairly simple detection spell with little risk of danger, especially with my wards in place on the walls. It's to help you find demon born, since you are already so close to Yehudit and she has no skills in magic much less casting any anti-detection spells on herself it should lead you to her. It would be good practice."

Sileas pulled the book over in front of her. Yes, something simple. That was the place to start. She began to read it slowly, absorbing the words.

Bai patiently waited for Sileas to finish reading the spell. He closed his eyes and mentally checked his wards.

Sileas closed the book. "I believe I have it."

The wards were in place. Bai nodded. "After you cast the spell you should feel a pull. Don't run like an idiot, but it should be safe to follow it. You don't already know where Yehudit is, right?"

"I haven't seen for days." Sileas said the words softly, and indeed, she felt a pull that she followed slowly and carefully. She wasn't in running condition.

Bai picked up the book and followed her.

Bai flipped open a book to the first page. There were pictures and had large print as if for a child.

"This one is called Dancing Lights, it's a little more than a parlor trick. It creates dancing lights, if you're really good you can make them different colors." Bai said, showing Sileas the simple spell.

Sileas glared at Bae. If she had done the spell incorrectly, she wouldn't have felt the pull to follow. She read the spell off the page, and indeed produced four different colored dancing lights.

"Pretty." Bai said dryly. "Now find your cousin."

Sileas cast the searching spell again, speaking the words slowly and clearly so that Bai would know she was saying it correctly.

Bai hoped that she would get it right this time, she certainly was taking long enough.

Once again, Sileas felt the pull of the spell. She left the room to walk through the halls of the keep.

Bai followed Sileas.
