Sileas jumped and dug her fingernails into the counter top to keep herself from rushing in to the other room.

A couple minutes later a young woman staggered out of the room, leaning heavily on the staff.

Sileas's eyes rounded as she stared in amazement. "Are you all right, Fiannetta?"

"Fiammetta." Bai corrected, clutching at his stomach. "The moon is full, isn't it?"

"Fi it is," Sileas replied. "Uhm, yes, I think it's full tonight. It's still daylight though."

"Yes." Bai grumbled. "I hate being a woman. Let's get this over with."

Her lips almost curved into a grin, but Sileas managed to stifle it. She left the rooms once more and headed for the kitchen. "I have to find Oscar and take him to my aunt and uncle to watch over while I get everything resettled."

"You're used to this set of body parts." Bai almost snarled as he followed her.

"I know," she said, heading for the kitchen.

Bai fell across the floor, writhing as he turned back into a man.

Sileas let out a small sound and turned around so Bai would have privacy.

Panting, Bai used his staff as lever to make himself sit up.

"What..." Bai gasped for breath a few times and wiped sweat from his face with his sleeve. "Did she tell you?"

"The normal types of things you would hear from someone who's been through what she has. Nightmares, can't close here eyes without seeing Jack. Memories are overwhelming her. Pinja doesn't feel time will help ease anything."

Bai leaned back against the wall.

"Visions?" He asked.

"I doubt it. She's reliving everything that was done to her over and over." Sileas's shoulders drooped. "It's not uncommon, and she was a victim multiple times."

"Poor girl." Bai said, sympathy in his eyes. "But was there anything else?"

"Nothing really stood out to me. It was very reminiscent of what I had gone through." Sileas sighed. "Is there something specific you were looking for?"

"Anything supernatural. Any kinds of marks- like a scar, burn or tattoo. Pregnancy. Hearing or seeing things that aren't there." Bai said, wishing he had gotten to talk to the girl and get a better look at her."

"She has scars from him cutting her and abusing her. She has some really bad scars from the night of the raid, but I don't know they were from magic. Pinja was bleeding very badly from those wounds when we found her. There is a babe, my parents are going to adopt it. I don't think she's seeing or hearing things. Nothing she said would indicate it."

"She's pregnant?" Bai swore, he got to his feet to pace. "A child of Molech- you know what that means?"

"I don't even know who Molech is," Sileas admitted. "Is he or she anything like Galina?"

"Who is Galina?" Bai asked.

"She's..." Sileas paused for a moment, pondering how to explain Galina, especially since she didn't know a lot herself. "From what I've been told, many years ago, Aunt Aislyn fired her from the inn and she has been bent on vengeance against the Buckley family ever since. She wields a strong magic, including being able to get in to people's minds to control them. Galina also gives super strength and magic to people she wants to do her bidding. If it weren't for the fact that  she's supposed to be dead, I would suspect her of being behind Jack and his men and what they did to Pinja." Sileas sighed. "She's destroyed or nearly destroyed a lot of lives."

"She sounds like she might serve Molech." Bai said. "Molech is a demon."

Sileas shuddered. "Does that mean he's worse than Galina? I thought she was a demon."
