Sileas paled. "In charge of...the household?!?!" The last word came out as a high squeak. "The entire household? I don't know anything at all about running a household!!!! That involves cooking, Wulfsen! And I can't sew either." She gulped audibly.

"What- no no no." Wulfsen had not expected Sileas to panic. "We have servants, cooking staff, tailors."

Sileas calmed slightly. "So...I need to get comfortable with telling people what to do?" She wasn't altogether certain she could do that either. "So I give them instructions each morning? I still don't know why I wouldn't have time for teaching."

"You could probably still find time." Wulfsen said.

Something in his tone and word choice made Sileas skeptical. There was something else he wasn't telling her. "Probably doesn't sound very definite. Is there more responsibilities that you haven't told me?"

"You'd be helping me run the Keep." Wulfsen said. "It can get time consuming."

Sileas glanced down at her lap. "I feel unprepared and unqualified," she said softly. "I don't know anything about doing this. And I don't know anyone who does."

"You won't be alone. I'll be there, and the servants know their jobs." Wulfsen said.

Sileas puffed out a breath at a lock of hair that had fallen in her eyes. "I don't want to embarrass you. I suppose I will be all right on day to day things."

"You can do it." Wulfsen said, giving her a hug.

Sileas snuggled against him, content in knowing that he had confidence in her. She only hoped she could keep it.

Wulfsen kissed her cheek.

Sileas smiled. They sat quietly for a few moments before she said "We should get back before Yehudit comes charging in here and hurts herself breaking down the door."

Wulfsen nodded. He got up and held out a hand to help Sileas up.

"Do you feel up to dancing?"

"I should probably keep it to a slow dance, but then, I don't know a lot of dances more than a slow one." Sileas grinned. "Besides, that way I get to be held."

"As long as we can behave." Wulfsen grinned back.

"We will just have to try extra hard to behave."

Wulfsen led Sileas towards the door.

Sileas followed, then paused, hearing the noise from the next room for the first time. She cringed. "Dare I say we were not the only ones affected."

"I don't know... Your Aunt and Uncle had been staying in that room." Wulfsen tried not to think about it.

"I know. Honestly."

Wulfsen started to laugh. "No wonder Yehudit thought we were doing... things."

"Indeed. They are a bit...loud..." Sileas shuddered.

"Very... How did we not hear all this sooner?" Wulfsen asked.

"I suppose we were too focused on repairing our issues. Speaking of which...don't allow me to keep things bottled up inside. Everyone has always expected me to be the strong one, so I tend to not say anything when I'm upset. I lean more to run and hide. Just like I stayed hidden in my flat over the schoolroom for nearly a year after...Andy. I missed all of Mama's pregnancy with the triplets." Tears filled her eyes at the thought of her lost little sisters. And Sara. She wished Haroth had stayed with them, even though she knew how happy he was.
