Difyr entered the room and set down her basket. She flopped down in a chair and looked down at herself. Her nice dress was stained with blood Lek's blood. Difyr groaned, sometimes she wishes she wasn't a healer, that she could go one day without seeing people's insides.

Difyr pressed a fist into her lower back as she straightened up from the herb shelf. She had already done so much work and there was no sign of it letting up any time soon, in fact there would soon be even more to do. Sileas should be giving birth any day now, and it wouldn't be long before other women... the raid victims, Difyr tried not to think about it... would be having theirs soon too. Difyr caught her own reflection in one of the glass jars and wondered if Ertzel was really as old as she had looked.
