Following them in, you see three Vilani down, and one taking cover still. The Vilani sprays fire wildly at you, missing.

He is not so lucky though. Tom and Jerry return fire, hitting him several times and he drops, convulsing.

Tom and Jerry secure the prisoners first,noting that three are barely conscious. Two are armed with knives and an assortment of gauss weapons.

There are a number of injured men also on the vessel, left from the assault on Gorans base, and Goran and two goons are also being held there. All prisoners also have some injuries.

The rest of the shuttle is standard.

She has all of them taken out side. Then the prisoners are searched.

You find a large number of weapons, including heavy weapons. Goran asks if he and his friends can go, and take some weapons to repair his turrets.

The shuttle was pretty much cut open, almost in half, and most of the Vilani troops in the front killed when that happened. There is a functional Beam weapon, but the reactor is almost destroyed. There are 8 prisoners, 2 in critical conditions, and 12 bodies.

Carrick would have a chance to be involved now.

Samantha calls Carrick to see what he is doing and to let him know what is there.

She checks the 2 critical wounded ones and sees what she can do for them.

The first seems to have massive internal bleeding caused by the concussion wave of the grenade. The second seems to have had his head thrown against a blunt object, and is possibly suffering permanent brain damage.

The first can be helped with herbs and an operation, but really needs a full operating theatre. The second, well, probably needs a miracle.

"OK, lets get theses two back to the ship for surgery" she looks at the other prisoners "OK, who is that understands me?"

That was one of the captives speaking low Vilani. He would have brought out Goran to translate, who was one of the captives aboard the shuttle.

However, in hindsight, one of your security is likely to know a little Low Vilani.

The one who offered to surrender turns out to be a combat medic.

Vilani Biology is extremely similar to human biology. Similar enough to impose no more than a -1 unfamiliarity penalty to any medical skills, other than psychobiology and culture-related skills.

She asks the medic if they have any medical supplies on the shuttle.

Through a translator, you find out most were used attacking Gorans base, when a number of troops were killed and injured.

She has a security guy search the shuttle for anything and then they march back to their base.

"Just the usual stuff in the craft, Maam. Back to our hidden location with Vilani prisoners? Perhaps Goran could look after them?"

"Yes, lets hand them over to Goran. We can't let them go if they see our base"

Carrick seems to be under effects of the sedation, so Samantha is able to take one of the shuttles, with Goran and those that were prisoners as well as the Vilani who surrendered, and return them all to Gorans base.

Goran wants to know how you can help him survive not that his cover is clearly blown...
